Having called Las Vegas my home for 20 years, I have always supported the many faces of the growth of downtown Las Vegas, regardless what it looked like. The Arts Factory was once the only thing running down there (remember all the lingering outside in the parking lot with adult beverages at a gallery event? and that was it)...then over many years add Fremont Street and the influence/money of Tony Hsieh and the countless other good Las Vegans encouraging that growth and on and on and on.... And then we now have Main Street, south of Charleston Blvd, north of Wyoming Ave and that surrounding area. Have you been down there? It's awesome! If you have not been down there as of late, do yourself a favor and go. Easy parking, fun food and drink and boutique retail shops like "For the Love, LV." Tourist or local, a great place to wander and enjoy the smaller feel of Las Vegas yet with a big punch. Did I mention For the Love, LV.... Super cute, open floor plan that stretches all the way to the back of the retail space, light/bright feel. Not to mention the owner Emily, with her perky character, easy manner and southern charm, and grateful that I am there. I have stopped at For the Love, LV on occasion when I am in the area and it is now one of those places along with Local Oasis up the way that I am always going to stop in to when I am in the area. Because you never know what gem you might find! This last visit, I walked away with a super comfy and cute Bailey Rose sweatshirt. Jewelry, clothing on trend, ball caps, sun glasses, cards, candles. In the back, Emily works with another retailer in selling very well curated vintage clothing. Also, the store works with artists in featuring their works (take note of the cool stuff on the walls mid store). It really is a great space. Emily and For The Love, LV is part of the newest chapter of the evolution of downtown Las Vegas and she embodies all that it should be... cool, welcoming, small business, investment and absolutely on point.

Very nice store…read more Looked like a very colorful collection(s) of well made traditional and classic women's clothing (Read that to mean, no Gen Z or millennial styles) . From where I was sitting (a plus in my mind was that they had several very comfortable chairs for non shoppers to sit in, a rarity in most stores). The store was scrupulously clean, well organized with no piles of clothing just thrown around. Since I wasn't shopping, I could only observe the customer service by the salesforce , but my companion had no complaints with her service experience. For those who never have been there, it's in the same plaza as Honey Salt , PF Changs and a few other mid-upper level Summerlin shops. Parking was a bit crowded but that may have been due to the holiday.

This Talbots is at a Shopping Center with free, shared parking. Service inside the clean, spacious, organized store was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming! They gave us great tips on how to wear a brooch and to run the needle through the hair to make it slide smoothly through clothing because our hair has natural oils in it! Cool! We found several choices and were super happy to get a 30 percent discount! We only paid a couple of dollars and some change for the difference! If you haven't been to a Talbots, you might like to visit this established name brand... especially because there's no location in Hawaii.

(I am so OCD, I clasped and hug every bra back on hangers) They did not have the size for the style that I wanted in house, but I was able to take a picture of the tag and order it online. They have a whole fitting room in the back of the store but they block it off completely. But they do have 3 stalls available if you need to try anything on. It is all about the SUMMERWEEN. I am serious. It is right there, in the front, left and right, of the store. There were some very cute pillows. Ghosts and all things Halloween. There were some Halloween PJ's, Halloween sweatshirts, which were very cute. The Clearance section is to the far back right of the store. An additional 40% off the marked prices. I noticed lots of initial'ed items. A really long time ago, when our stringbean was a wee one, there used to be a little table for the wee ones to color, but they did away with it.
