Saturday evening dinnertime and we walk into a great little 5 star Italian restaurant in Clearwater and there is no wait and plenty of open tables. Apparently everyone here is obsessed with fast food and chain restaurants. We ordered a four course meal and stayed over an hour and ate every bite. Our server, Joanna (you have to guess where she is from, hint: Scandinavia is wrong) was fabulous. The best service we have had in years. The ambiance is quaint but clean and comfortable. The real dinner setting is a nice touch. The food was terrific: garlic knots 5 stars, mista salad with blue cheese 5 stars, wood fired pizza 5 stars, limoncello cake 5+ stars (although it is not made on site but comes from a local bakery, everything else is made on site). I would eat here every week if I lived here, and the prices were great. read more

I live in the neighborhood, and I have been waiting for this place to open! I ate here on their second day and already came back for pick-up. The margarita pizza was fantastic, and my friends loved the supreme pizza. When I stopped by for pick-up, I got the steak and cheese panini--it's HUGE and absolutely delicious. Perfect to split with someone or save for leftovers. The staff is super friendly, and I can't wait to see what wine deals they roll out. Fingers crossed for a great Wine Wednesday because that would make it a weekly stop for me and my friends! We've needed a good spot in the Feathersound area for a while, and everyone I've talked to is just as impressed. Prices are really reasonable too! read more

Second time in, everyone is always friendly. Last time owner (or at least who I presume to be) had said I had to try the pizza. Pasta was good last time, but glad I came back to try the pizza. It is certainly the star here in my opinion. Nothing crazy, but a very comfort style pizza and it was out hot and ready in 5 minutes. Will certainly be back for some pizza :) read more

Got violently sick with food poisoning from a sandwich I got here Sunday night. I ordered a panini online and when I got it, it was different than what was described on the website. I called and they said there is an error online and what I ordered matches the paper menu. I was hungry so I ate it. What I received was a panini with burrata, tomato, arugula and prosciutto (which did not look good) I took the prosciutto off after a few bites.. but something on there gave me food poisoning. What stands out is the use of fresh and high-quality ingredients as you can see in the pictures. I drive past their location frequently and have been waiting for it to open. In the past two weeks we've had pizza twice on site and ordered take-out calzones once. Everything we've gotten has been delicious. The Supreme pizza is scrumptious! I loved the Ortolana too (added sausage); my husband liked it but prefers the supreme. The calzones are yummy and huge - one serves two people more than adequately. They have a nice selection of reasonably priced wines. The dining room is pleasant. They also offer outdoor seating. An outdoor table toward the rear of the east side of the patio would be nice. The front is pleasant but the the traffic on Ulmerton detracts. The staff is friendly and attentive.
