Went to this place last weekend and it was a total shit show the lane kept getting are balls stuck every single turn. 1 game litterally took 2 hrs with 3 people cause we had to keep waiting on the guy to go fix our lane. Then when we requested to try a different lane instead of this one. We were told "happens to all of them" on top of that all the bowling balls were like way over sprayed with oil stupid slippery! To top it all off I ordered a pizza that was 18$ and they no joke brought out a like off brand jack pizza that tasted freezer burnt to all hell. Definitely do not recommend this place it sucks. read more

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at a bowling alley. Our food order was completely messed up, items were missing and incorrect, and on top of that, we were charged incorrectly. Instead of fixing their mistakes, staff acted annoyed that we even brought it up. The service throughout the visit was terrible. It was slow, disorganized, and unapologetic. What made it truly unacceptable was the behavior of the manager/owner (whoever was in charge). They were incredibly unprofessional, argumentative, and openly hostile toward customers. Rather than listening or taking responsibility, they argued with people and made the situation worse. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them matters, and this place failed at every level. No accountability, no respect, and no concern for customer satisfaction. There are plenty of other bowling alleys that value their customers; this is not one of them. This place is the worst. I would not recommend anyone to come here. We got moved three different times to three different Lanes. Each one kept freezing and we had to wait almost 40 minutes for someone to fix it. On top of that we ordered food and it took about 45 minutes to an hour to get the food so we're not happy we did. Monday starting at 5pm is Quartermania Day! This is my new favorite weekly holiday. For 50 cents you can rent bowling shoes now that's a deal but it gets better. Every game is 25 cents...what really? But wait there is more! How about 50 cent drafts on tap? Okay please stop that is way to much! Wait half price apps too? You mean every app on the menu is half price? Yes! Quartermania is alive and kicking! This is such an amazing deal. We arrived right at 5pm and had to wait a little for a lane. Many of the locals were rumbling about having to wait. There was a local school there and they had many of the lanes taken but they were close to being finished. There were a bunch of lanes open but there was an evening league coming in. So customers saw the open lanes (for the league) and wondered why they could not bowl on them. It always cracks me up when people complain and they are getting the most incredible deal ever. Have a little patience and good things will come. As we were waiting, my wife asked if there was going to be a waiting list and the owner said he was not going to start a list yet. That scared me a little but I told my wife to stick close to the front counter so he did not forget us. After a few minutes, he handed us all shoes and told us to take lane number 1. Sweet! We asked him if we needed to pay first and he told us we were on the honor system. How cool was that? So we took our shoes, grabbed a few balls and went to our lane. The lanes here are really nice...a little oily...which means they really take care of them. I needed a towel to wipe my ball off but I did not have one. Unfortunately I do not carry one in my back pocket. The scoring was really cool. I let my little one pick the theme and she choose "Fairytales" which was really fun for her. We had animated dragons, princes, fairies, etc poping up on our screen as we bowled with sound effects too. We were also able to set up bumpers for our little one, so every time it was her turn the rails would pop up for her. No gutters for a child equals happiness. Now if you do not like fairies, then you can choose another theme too. So as we were bowling we decided to grab some of those 50 cent drafts but found out that the bartender would not be there for another 5 minutes. So we waited and as soon as he arrived we ordered two. Nice and cold perfect for a bowling game. We also decided to jump in on the half price apps and our choice was hard because there were over 20 items to choose from. We finally went with the cheese sticks. My wife placed the order with bartender and a food runner delivered our piping hot cheese sticks to our lane within 10 minutes. The service was really fast and the cheese sticks were really good. I think we got them for $1.25. My wife wanted to hit more of the apps but I vetoed it because I knew we would hate ourself in the morning after all of that fried food. There was music here but it was jukebox driven. So if someone played music there was music playing, which was great when it was playing. I did miss it when it was not playing. I wish that I would have went up and played a few songs but that might have been dangerous because I find jukeboxes to be funny. I like to pick the strangest music and then watch everyones faces. Yeah I am that guy because I always love a good laugh. The bowling alley is really nice. I am so glad to see that this place is packed on a Monday night. I am sure that Quartermania has a lot to do with it. We will be back because we had a fun night as a family. Almost 3 hours of family fun and we spent less then 10 dollars on everything. Where else can you get bowling, drinks and food for less then that? Nowhere except here!!! read more

I came here & actually had a fun time. I was here on a Tuesday so it was $1 games. The lanes were nice & smooth just like at a Brunswick facility. Some of lanes would malfunction but one of the staff members would fix them right away. They had 2 staff members because it is a smaller facility but the staff was very nice. The bathrooms were also clean & updated with newer technology. If you want music you have to pay the machine to play it. I think it would help the ambience if they just played music instead of making people pay for it. Overall the lanes were smooth & the service was good & I will bowl here again when I am in the area. read more

recently had just bought a new ball and went home with two decently big gashes on it. a bowling ball isn't meant to stay pretty and brand new especially if you use it but i'm sure the cause of the damage was the lanes not being oiled me and my friend where the only ones there and ever since visiting about 4 other locations i haven't seen gashes like that very unfortunate but please do better maintenance on your machines and oiling the lanes. also if you could please add some music in the background it's debilitating playing in silence read more

Geesh where do I start! WE SHOULD OF TURNED AROUND WHEN WE SEEN THE PARKING LOT LOOKED ABANDONED! My party of 14 went on the night of January 29, 2021. 8 adults and 6 kids. Got 3 lanes paid over 100 dollars. We told the lady we wanted 2 hours and she said ok. Ok now the kids hungry, we ordered pizza and 4 pitchers of drinks. 4 pizzas totaled 74 dollars. WTF but their kids right. They bring the pizza. We had to send them back. They were burnt to a crisp. And they were mama Cosi pizza from Aldi. Ha! So five minutes later they just cut out games off mid game( she put us down for 1 hour). We were still on the first game. Ok time to go. We need our money back from the pizza we didn't get to eat because they were still cooking. They tried so send us home with the pizza in a to go box. Wow. The staff attitudes sucks. Back in the day me and my gang used to come here for the random night of bowling when it was relatively inexpensive. Once the prices started to go up we found other places to get our turkey on. It's been a long time since I had been back to Antioch Lanes, but found myself here when visiting some friends back home for a few nights. It was a Wednesday night and when me and my lady arrived we figured it was a crap shoot to get some open bowling in because it was probably a league night. Seems like every night of the week is a "league night" now a days. Sure enough, as we strolled it, the lanes were packed with the stereotypical bowling league shirts and bad mustaches. We approached and counter crossing our fingers to be able to find an open lane just for a few games to get it out of our system. Luckily the kid at the front desk said he had one lane left and it was all ours. Just pay when you're done playing. We scampered about finding a ball that would fit our fingers and I remembered why I don't bowl that much, how many other hands were in those and the smell of cigarette smoke that stained the 70's style carpets... ah well bowling is fun. We bowled a few games, drank a few beers and were ready for the next destination. As we went to pay, the clerk told us $13 (2 games with shoes). We were astonished! Great price! I am not sure how many times I'll be back to bowl some more, but for the itch that we needed to scratch Antioch Lanes did the job. Well done. read more

Bowling is always a nice alternative to outdoor activities but Bowling with no music is not entertaining! If I'm already paying for a game/lane plus shoes I shouldn't be required to select the music unless I want something specific and in that case I would be willing to pay for. I was bummed to find out that if I wanted to bowl with music someone had to purchase it. read more

Not a Brunswick but good enough. I only come on Tuesdays for $1.00 bowl. The gentleman that works their is very cool...always gives us breaks and won't charge for kid shoes ect! Always have a good time for a couple bucks! read more

I go to this bowling alley not too often. Today's visit disappointed me. I put some money into the jukebox to play some music. One of the songs didn't load (hourglass) and the staff behind the counter refused to refund me my money. Everything else was ok. It's cheap but that's about all it has going for it. The one employee working left us alone in the place so she could go smoke. The kitchen didn't appear to be open so I left to get a drink and I was told I couldn't bring it in. Well maybe make it obvious that your concession stand is open. We had a terrible experience at this bowling alley. We went here for my daughters swim team holiday party. The staff did not give our team a private room, the lanes weren't ready at our start time so we had to wait at least 20 minutes for lanes to open. And when they did the staff never told us; we had to figure it out for ourselves. What's worse, they were finishing up a fundraiser when it was our teams start time so it was utter chaos. We paid $12 per person for bowling and pizza. The pizza was frozen Jack's pizza and they only gave us 1 pizza per bowling lane. Seriously? For over 70 people? I'm not certain if this was due to poor planning on the parent committee or poor planning from the bowling alley so I cant really put all of the pizza blame on them. But what really irked me is we were in the middle of our 2nd game at 6:15 (remember we started late cuz they weren't prepared) and they abruptly shut down our game. No explanation. Seriously so great for kids! We had such a nice time. Sunday afternoon and we were the only ones there. Bumpers for the kids go up only on their turn, it's automatic and makes playing fun for adults too! Highly recommend it! Can't speak for the food or anything but bowling itself was great! read more

Excellent place to hang our with friends, have fundraisers, birthday parties, and bowling for gym class. I was just there Friday night for cosmic bowling and also to help my two friends families raise money for funeral costs and everything else. Very good staff working there. read more

I went to the Antioch bowling lanes this weekend. It looks great after the remodel. The bowling and service was great. The only issue I had is that they didn't have a lot of beverages. The didn't have tap beer and a lot of the bottle beer was out. I think these are only temporary setbacks. I would recommend this to a family looking for an affordable weekend activity. read more

This is a great place to take kids on a weekend afternoon. Never too crowded and the staff is friendly and helpful. Like the Antioch Movie Theater, it's a no frills solid hometown place. Plus the guy that works there looks like Aaron Rodgers so that is kind of funny. Go bears though. read more
