A thrift store and coffee shop? Sign me up! This was a necessary caffeine stop after some shopping. I was blown away by the interior. Everywhere you look is filled with amazing vintage pieces (most of which were for sale)! I stayed for a couple hours working on some homework and felt so comfy with the nice couch and ambient music. The signs mentioned high tea, so I'll definitely have to stop back if I'm in the mood for a proper English brew! I also find that many coffee shops close much too early for my taste so I appreciate this spot closing at 9 !

Super gorgeous cafe in Johns creek with beautiful antiques! I came for book club and we thought this was the perfect place to meet. They have both high tea and a regular cafe menu, and we went for the regular coffee menu this time. I had an iced mocha and chicken salad sandwich for my meal and I enjoyed both of them! Nothing super special, but definitely a great ambiance pick!

I wanted to the high tea service with a friend and booked a reservation which is the only way to order the high tea service. The staff was friendly and helped us introduce the teas to pick from. We got to smell every one and picked the one we wanted. Since we had one tea pot we had to agree on one tea. We were also able to pick the tea set we used from the china cabinet which was fun. The food was very average and for $75 is not good value. Therefore, I think you should only book it if you want to enjoy the atmosphere and experience but do not have expectations for the food.

Did afternoon tea with my daughters and it was amazing. Teas were incredible and the savory and sweets were world class. Highly recommend.

What a cute little cafe tucked away in Johns Creek! I've driven by this place plenty of times but didn't know it was an actual coffee shop. I stopped by here on Saturday morning for a quick breakfast bite and coffee before running errands. I went with the Mayflower latte which had hints of honey and vanilla and a banana nut muffin. The coffee was actually delicious (coming from a non coffee drinker) and could pick up the hints of honey and vanilla which sweetened it pretty well. The muffin was also tasty with plenty of nuts and banana in there, and they actually toasted it up for me! I loved that they brought out my food and drink after I picked out a table. The drinks and food are a bit more on the pricy side; however, u really appreciated the decor in here! They have some very unique antiques and some for sale! There's plenty of seating inside and it seems like a great place to get work done. I can't wait to come back and bring some of my friends!

Wow, decoration here is spectacular. Everything is antique to the max. The barista, his name was Vincent, was very kind and helpful in finding out which drink I should get. I ended up getting the mayflower latte and it had a bit of cinnamon power on it as a custom addition. It was very tasty. Just sitting in the seating area felt so unique. Definitely a spot worth visiting especially since it's family owned !

This is a spacious and unique new cafe filled with antique goods and furniture that you can purchase. There is plenty of seating and table space, and it was pretty empty and quiet when I visited; it looks like a good place to study or work. My latte and americano tasted a little diluted, but overall not bad. I would come to try some of their more specialty drinks and food items later.

Super unique shop to add to the Johns Creek area! Lots of antique items to look at and purchase as well. On top of that the coffee is great! Service was friendly and gave some recommendations. Mayflower latte was one of the best hot latte I've had in awhile! Will definitely come back!

cozy brunch and coffee spot with charming antique decor. i tried the buttery croissant sandwich*(forgot the name of menu) paired with an affogato--vanilla ice cream, caramel, and espresso pour-over--so good! my friend enjoyed the caprese avocado toast, and we shared the refreshing strawberry & pecan salad. perfect for a relaxing brunch or coffee date. can't wait to return for their high tea service!

Cute little joint with amazing desserts and high quality coffee and teas. The staff was very nice and explained the menu to us. I personally love antiques and coffee so this hit right on the money. It wasn't like a thrift store ether, everything inside was elegant and charming.

    Is this place kid friendly?

Yes it is, kids can most definitely come enjoy food/drinks (we also have 2 kids drink on the drink menu). But also because a lot of our items are antique, we do hope they don’t run around and accidentally knocking an antique.

The interior design is a combination of a night lounge and a high end airport lounge combined. Service was fast with 6 attendants taking orders; significantly reducing wait times. As far as the menu; they have 2 separate menus. One for coffee and snakes, and another that starts at 5:00 pm and includes entrees. We started with cold drinks; my niece ordered the Passion fruit lime tea, while I went all coco and sea salt ice tea with 50% less sugar. Both were delicious. Finger foods included Taiwanese chicken and Takoyaki. Entrees was skewered beef, and lamb.

My favorite are the keychains I visit Chuchat whenever I'm in the area for lunch. I'm a fan of their Oolong and Jasmine teas. The prices are decent if you order milk teas or straight teas and not specialty drinks. The signature salty tea series is too salty for me honestly. Which is odd because I normally love anything salty. They get insanely crowded in the weekends with people coming to eat desserts and relax with friends in the cafe. Still need to try all their desserts, but I'm so full by the time I arrive after lunch. But, will definitely stop by on a weekday when it is less crowded. The atmosphere is tropical and sleek, but starting too look too overwhelming with decor lately with so many posters and displays. The fresh bakery items are great, but really confuse customers that I see walk in the door. Customers just walk over to the bakery items and don't realize the massive food and dessert menu that is also available. There should be a way to combine all to make it easier for customers, like put all on one touch screen menu. Service is fast, but they are only human so can only move so quickly when there are customers lined up out the door.

Well, hate to be frank, but our Souffle Pancake was just very disappointing. While the pancake was nice and fluffy, the toppings and presentation wasn't even close to being as good as they used to be. I felt this was new management, with a whole, new style of doing desserts maybe? In any case, we did think the pancake tasted good...but it was just lacking in the creamy topping, as only the top layer had this creamy base. The lower 2 pancakes had no cream on it...and tasted quite bland. Even the strawberry sauce was minimal...so minimal, I went up to ask for more. Also, the decorative toppings, including the strawberry, were just BLAHHH. If you come here expecting the Strawberry Souffle Pancake of the past, you'll be disappointed. So nope...just not pretty enough for Instagramming. Made me wonder if the rest of the desserts have gone down as well?? For drinks, my husband had Cappuccino, and I had this Oohlong Tea. Not pictured, but the presentation was just passable...and the taste was just OK. If I recall, their drinks used to be presented beautifully as well as their desserts...but from the look of things, that may no longer be true. Guess I may give this place at least another try. Who knows? Maybe it was just an off night?? Hopefully I can upgrade the review on my next v visit...should the dessert and the drink look and taste better. Fingers crossed??

I like the interior of the cafe as it reminds me a bit of Stylenanda in Korea (pink!). I can't speak on the drinks, only the pastries and cakes, and yeah, they're good! Probably shouldn't leave any pastries with fruit longer than a few hours since it'll get soggy though. We had a few birthdays to celebrate, and Confections was the go-to choice to for a lot of people this year. Not too sweet cream with fruit and fluffy cake, it was perfect for many in our group. The only cake I would not recommend that I've tried would be the Dubai chocolate cake. Not only is it more expensive, it's smaller than the other offered cakes. As a cake, it doesn't quite match up to Dubai chocolate strawberry cups that you can get elsewhere. The kunafa loses its crispiness being sandwiched between cake, and there isn't much pistachio flavor. I would've expected pistachio cream, but there really wasn't any on this cake. There are more strawberries on the strawberry cream cake, which fair, makes sense, but the Dubai cake wasn't as amazing as it sounded. Just tall. Good thing we had another cake from Confections that day since it was a joint birthday.
