I love state and jones. I come here sporadically when I'm in the area, and every single time they are fantastic. The ladies here are wonderful and consistently deliver what customer service should be. I love love the BLT- it's always fresh and flavorful and perfectly tasty. We've gotten many other sandwiches, quiches, baked goods, seasonal drinks, and they all deliver. Today I tried one of the new drinks, Bailey's Banana Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso, recommended to me by the owner and probably one of the best lattes I've had. The ratio and flavor were so delightful. They have a sign out front that states "best coffee in town," and I heartily agree.

What a charming little cafe in Alpharetta! It's located right next to Aldi and plenty of parking in the complex. There is limited seating inside but absolutely loved the decor! I went with a seasonal drink which was apple pie inspired and a mushroom quiche. The coffee was pretty good and loved the combination of the fall spices blended into the drink. The mushroom quiche was also delicious! I loved how the egg taste was light and came with plenty of mushrooms in the dish. The crust was also flaky and delicious. Service was also amazing and can't wait to come back and try it another time!

From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the beautiful and inviting environment, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. I stopped in on a rainy Saturday morning, and it was exactly what I needed--warm, cozy, and welcoming. The coffee was outstanding, and I have to highlight the latte that had a black pepper foam on top--a unique and delicious blend of bold coffee and just the right amount of spice. It was unlike anything I've had before and worth trying. To pair with it, I ordered the egg scramble tartine with smoked salmon, which was incredibly flavorful and beautifully prepared. Every bite was perfection! This is the kind of place you want to linger in, whether you're catching up with a friend or just enjoying a peaceful moment with a great cup of coffee.

State and Jones is the PERFECT coffee shop for all Johns Creek locals. From its interior decor to bathroom design, this place is a dream. Walking inside basically transports you to an escape for your taste buds. The coffees, teas, and food offering are ALL so flavorful and unlike anything you've ever had before. Shelby, the owner of State and Jones is the sweetest woman you will ever meet, as is the rest of her staff. They are all so personable and take the time to get to know their customers and ensure each one has a great experience. Make sure you sign up for their rewards program - each drink purchase brings you that much closer to a free drink! I've tried so many food and drink options here, and will continue to post these variations in my MANY future check-ins. On this visit I ordered my favorite Mushroom Fontina Quiche and their Tropical Coconut Tea. My husband ordered their new Iced Masala Chai Latte and their Italian Panini. All of the food here is served in the most beautiful presentation. If you opt to drink-in, you will be served in their glassware, which in my option makes your coffee experience that much better. If you're looking for a new coffee shop to try, look no further, TRY State and Jones!

The most personable cafe I've ever been to! Things you should know: I. PARKING State + Jones Coffee is within the Aldi shopping plaza and shares a massive, free lot with the public. Easy. II. SERVICE The staff care to get to know their customers and even ask for feedback on the beverages (of whether the cold brew is dense enough or not. etc.) They have a self-serve water station, convenient outlets everywhere and offer sugar free syrups. Display pastries are brought in from Henri's Bakery. III. QUALITY The coffee is dense and acidic and really hits coffee-snob standards ! Also, their almond milk is made in-house. Who does that?! I love it. IV. CAPACITY Fair amount of available seating throughout the day, but I always see an available table. This is a great place to sit and knock out some work.

Stunning coffee shop serving quality drinks. This gem is right next to Aldi. The interior is beautiful. Each table has its own outlet so it's perfect for studying/working. There's plenty of tables and seating. They have a variety of coffee drinks. I tried the cold brew with oat milk. It was really good. The service was great. They offer food as well so I can't wait to try those next time.

Great little cafe! Good amount of seating and excellent food. Coffee was nothing special in my opinion, but they do have a lot of creative items on the menu. Their food was great, especially the eggs. Service was also amazing.

Beautifully-appointed coffee shop in Johns Creek. London fog was delicious. Staff and owner are warm and helpful. Comfortable high top seating, leather arm chairs or traditional table and chairs. Bakery items and plenty of flavored, herbal teas for those who aren't big on coffee.

    Vanilla latte with pistachio milk!
    Madison S.

Seriously, the best coffee and amazing people who served it! I got a vanilla latte with *homemade* pistachio milk....pistachio!! So unique! It had a nutty marshmallow-like flavor with the vanilla syrup. Not too sweet and still had a good amount of coffee flavor. I've never had anything like it!

From the outside, it looks pretty tame and unassuming for a coffee shop, but the moment you step inside, it's like walking into a completely different universe. The interior is absolutely gorgeous. I kid you not, it makes you feel like you're sitting inside a real-life geode! The walls are lined with the cutest shelves and unique little trinkets. Their counters were stacked with all kinds of delicious-looking treats, and I honestly had a hard time deciding what to get. I finally settled on a chai tea and a caramel croffle. What really blew me away was how different this place feels from a standard chain coffee shop. The staff genuinely made me feel welcome and cared for. Within just a few minutes my order was ready. The chai tea tasted so authentic, not like it came out of a mass-produced bottle. And the croffle? Perfect. It had that beautiful subtle essence of a flaky croissant. And the caramel wasn't overly sugary at all so you could actually enjoy the rich flavors. I had the most pleasant afternoon here. It's a quaint, quiet little shop that invites you to sit, linger, and enjoy the atmosphere. When I walked in, I was immediately excited to see they carried Dubai Strawberries (my absolute favorite!). While I didn't grab them this time, I'll definitely be back for them. I opted for the Pistachio Cream Croissant, which was calling my name the second I walked through the door. It took a little bit of time to arrive, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I suspect they might have even baked it to order! It was the perfect sweet treat without being overly sugary, which is a massive plus in my book. The pistachio flavor was spot on. It was incredibly rich, nuanced, and tasted completely authentic. I paired it with the Hibiscus Tea, which was, quite literally, something made of dreams. Again, it had that perfect balance. It has just enough sweetness to elevate the drink without overpowering it. You can really taste the true, floral notes of the hibiscus. Beyond the stellar food, the vibe is just right. We saw several other groups come in and settle into the space to enjoy their treats, making it a great place to catch up with friends. I'm already planning my next trip back, and mark my words. I've enjoyed their coffee and hospitality for several years, but only recently visited their brick-and-mortar location off State Bridge Road in Johns Creek. The shop is tucked away in a hidden retail center that could certainly use some redevelopment someday, but that's a story for another time. Cloudland Coffee is truly a standout business in the center and well worth seeking out. Over the past few months, I've stopped in regularly for a cup of coffee and to purchase freshly roasted beans.
