We found SO MANY vintage unique gifts for family members here...meant just for them! The sales associate was extra helpful going glass cabinet to glass cabinet to unlock items we wanted with a SMILE on her face! Beautiful inside and so much to look at! Collectables, vintage, and designer treasures as well! It is a MUST see!

I adore antique stores - read an old blog post about how Oro Grande is a hidden gem for antiquing so decided to make a day trip of it to #supportlocalbusiness! It's off the famous Route 66 so you can't go wrong checking this weird little town out anyway - and if you're at all into antiques, you're bound to find something of interest here for sure! And their prices were great imo! When I first pulled in to their parking lot, I got a little nervous - it looked kinda random...the exterior had the kitschy desert-weirdness about it...but there were plenty of cars in the parking lot so I decided to venture in...and I'm so glad I did! This place is pretty cool! It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside - I felt like every corner I went around, there was another corner and another and another lol! They had lots of great shabby-country-chic decor and some very interesting Wild West-looking antiques that you would swear came out of some old desert ranch - very cool! And they have a ton of cast iron!! I managed to walk away with some fantastic treasures! I got a cute cast iron heart shaped muffin pan among other things! I definitely plan to return once the pandemic is over in hopes that the other local stores will open back up and will stop here again for sure!

Plenty of pyrex!

One Star - Very Disappointing Experience…read more Unfortunately, my family and I had a very unpleasant experience at Treasure House Mall, and we will not be returning. When we first entered the store, we were warmly greeted by a sweet elderly woman who welcomed us, held my daughter's tiny dog, and even encouraged us to explore downstairs. Based on that interaction, we believed having the small dog was not an issue. Shortly after, another staff member approached us. This staff member was very heavy set Hispanic man. He so very rudely told us we had to leave immediately because of the dog. His tone was smug, dismissive, and completely unprofessional, which was especially upsetting given that we had already been welcomed moments earlier. There was no polite explanation or attempt to resolve the situation--just an abrupt demand that we leave. This incident was even more frustrating because just a few days prior, the same employee told us we only had 15 minutes to shop when there was still over an hour left before closing. At this point, the repeated negative encounters with the same individual made us feel singled out and unwelcome. As Black customers who live in Barstow and have shopped here frequently, it's incredibly disappointing to feel treated this way. Whether intentional or not, the inconsistency and hostility in how we were handled came across as discriminatory and left a very bad impression. Treasure House Mall seriously needs to address this employee's behavior. Rudeness, inconsistency, and lack of professionalism drive loyal local customers away. Sadly, our family will no longer be supporting this business.

3.7 stars. The thrift store portion is unattractive and messy. We didn't make a purchase. The…read moreantique mall next door is very interesting and thoughtfully merchandised. I would have loved to stay, shop, and drop some cash but it was 108° outside and these businesses do not have adequate cooling. It was absolutely awful. I usually take lots of photos in antique malls but I wasn't enjoying myself this time due to the discomfort, so I didn't take any. Me and another person in my party got lightheaded and left. It was a bummer. Like, how are you in the middle of the desert without proper air conditioning for your customers, let alone your poor employees?
