I was doing some decluttering at my house and ended up with a couple bags of household items…read more Sometimes it's good to do some reassessment of your personal items and see if you still use or need them. If yes, then by all means keep them. If no, then gift or donate them (if you choose). I donate often to this Goodwill center throughout the year. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They will ask you if you want a receipt for your donation. If you itemize on your tax return, then make sure you get a receipt for your records. Also this time around, they asked if I wanted to donate one dollar for their upcoming project (I don't remember what it was exactly). I donated a few dollars. No donation is too small or too big. A donation is a donation. If you have anything that you no longer use or want, please have them donated so they can be resold at a discounted price and/or given to communities in need. Goodwill is a good place to donate to today! Happy Donating!

Hi my name is Jessa. As of Friday May 21st it was my last day at Goodwill. I worked there for…read more2years and some change but due to the awful hour cuts, from going to 38 hours to only a sad 4 hours a day I had to find a different job. On the 21st. I was told to sign resign papers because i found a job that gave me the hours I needed to support bills and rent. And WHEN i was given those papers. I asked General Manager Nina Alvarez, "will i get it in direct deposit or will I have to come to work to pick up my last check?" Which is what i said Word for word. And she told me "yes it will be direct deposit" Explain to me why the general manager gave me false information and when i didnt get paid today 28th; i came into Goodwill after i got off work at my current job and SHE tells me that she didnt say it was going to be direct deposit. And i told her "yes you did say that, what do u mean?" And she said "no I didnt say that"..... SURE. Just cuz you didnt know your job on the spot when i asked you a very specific straight foward question, for you to flip it around on me like a guilty child, and to deny that you said that to me face to face is very sad. I wouldnt be this upset if i was told the truth from the start. And now i apparently have to wait for my check to come in the mail. And have you know, I DID NOT CONSENT TO IT BEING SENT TO WHERE I LIVE because like MOST not nice neighborhoods, MAIL GETS STOLEN. I CAN POSSIBLE LOSE MY CHECK BECAUSE SOMEONE DIDNT KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOB. Not only is tht my issue with her. Most people tht work there have families, kids, a house. Those hours that got cut really messed with everyone that works there. And it sadness me to see what was once a happy family oriented place turned to a place of childish drama. Im happy to have left at the time that i did because she doesnt treat everyone the same at all and she likes to set different rules for whoever SHE likes. Anyways. Im thoroughly upset. And will take things into my own hands since her management has failed. Which this isnt the first time. I feel like store 86# could have so much more potential if there was a different, more responsible, unbiased manager running the business to the ground to whoever works there who feels the same injustice i hope u stay blessed And to all the usual customers I had, it was a pleasure to serve you. Im sure you know by my personality and my customer service skills that i truly did love working there. im outro.

After having an unpleasant experience at Ross clothing store (their customer service is bad) I came…read morehere where I purchased several dresses. The only thing I wish is that your store would open their fitting rooms again. The one in Huntington Beach has them open. It would definitely make things easier if you guys did too! But, I will say, that your customer service is the reason I keep coming back!!

This location is in a shopping center area, next to a Domino's Pizza. It has a large parking lot…read morethat it partially shares with other establishments. The store has lots of items ranging from seasonal items to clothing, books, movies, figurines, kitchenware, tapestries, paintings and more. They don't have much furniture though. If you see something good buy it! It might not be available the next time you visit. The aisles are organized and don't have a bad smell, like some thrift stores I've visited. They offer a military discount of 15% off non-sale items every Monday. Today, they had a 50% off offering of items with a blue tag. The reason I rated the location low is because the customer service can use some improvements. My daughter and I stood waiting at the counter and no one acknowledged us. A young worker was talking with someone and the security guard was kind enough to signal to her that customers were waiting to checkout. When the young woman came to the counter to check us out she wasn't friendly. She didn't greet us or make small talk, she just did her job and rung up the items, giving me the military discount where appropriate. I know friendliness is not required but it sure does make a difference! It's noticed when it's there and when it's not there.
