One of the better investments I've done in myself lately, was switching over to Antoine Dental. I started coming here not along ago. The service has always been good during all of my appointments. I feel the care was always there and that I was never rushed out. I recently came in last week for a checkup, exam and general cleaning. The service was quick and pain free. Dr. Nazari and his assistants were very kind during the appointment. I felt he listened to all the questions I had about something specific that's been bothering me as well. They are ok, I wouldn't place them at a higher standard than any other typical orthodontist office. I was referred to them. Have moved since first starting and regret choosing them. The parking lot is absolutely full every time I Come, usually have to wait until someone leaves, and you can clearly tell they are over booking people because even when I arrive 15-20 mins early for my appointment, there is ALWAYS A WAIT maybe 15-20 mins after appointment time making my wait time 40 mins plus. I would probably never use them again if I had to make this decision ever again. Location and wait time would by my biggest factor in that decision. Antoine Dental has always been my favorite dentist to go to. I have been going to Dr. Behzad Nazari since they opened the first location on Antoine Road. I had a great experience with my braces, cleanings, and veneers. I had got one veneer done at another dentist, paid $2,500 for one veneer, and had it fall off many times. I got tired of the high cost, and the bad quality of veneer, so I went to Dr. Nazari for my 2nd veneer. He mentioned it may not be a perfect match between the 2 veneers, but he will do his best. Well like always, Dr. Nazari and his team at Antoine Dental knocked it out of the park. The first veneer was not what I was looking for on the match, so Dr. Nazari got another veneer mold and match ASAP. The veneer that I have now from Antoine Dental is perfect and matches so well. I was nervous to have my Two front teeth as veneers, and by two different dentists. But Antoine Dental and Dr. Nazari made me at ease and I am happy with the results! Not only was the entire process great, it was HALF the cost of my other dentist, and the bond and the way Dr. Nazari did my 2nd veneer was a better procedure that my new veneer feels stronger and more natural than the way my other dentist did his veneers. The BEST dentist office in Houston! Where have I been ? Why I never visit here before? This office is soooo legendary and even have a wash station for you to brush your teeth at and well kept. The staff is so friendly and nice. Let me just say William is the BOMB.com he's so informative, honest and kind and let's not forget "the hype man" of the office. Dr. Nazari and Dr. Samo are also awesome and very intelligent. I had prior dental work that was not performed correctly and these two Doctors gave me the best options & I could tell they were honest and very patient with me! I've been coming here for over two years for my braces. Although I hate wearing my braces, I love knowing I am in good hands at Antoine Dental Center. They have the best customer service. Their staff is always so friendly and professional. Whenever I have questions, they are throughly answered. I also like the fact they are opened on Saturdays. It's very convenient to come on the weekend. Just be prepared to wait a little longer to be seen. I also like the fact they do general dentistry here as well. EXCELLENT DENTAL EXPERIENCE !! I went in for a Free consultation for two implants on Monday 1/14/19 . Was greeted by William within a few minutes of completing my paperwork. William was very personable,he took an X ray and then took me to an exam room where I was greeted by an assistant & Dr.Simon Samo . I explained to the Dr.that I knew what to expect as I had assisted for a group of Oral Surgeons years ago . A few more X rays were taken by the assistant and William returned with the costs of the procedures and asked if I wanted Antoine Dental to do my implants,I said yes ,as this was my third consultation and their prices are VERY reasonable. William went to check on getting financing ,returned shortly with a fantastic offer of zero down,zero % interest !! He then asked if I wanted to do the procedure right then ,I said YES !! Dr.Samo returned,numbed my mouth with lidocaine and I less than 30-40 minutes ,two teeth were extracted,bone grafts and one of the two implants were placed !! There was absolutely no pain or discomfort(even with the lidocaine injection) Dr.Samo has a gentle hand and excellent chair side manne This is the most professional,truly caring Dr.s office I have ever been to . There was no pressure on selling or to have the procedure that day .. I was just ready and just happened to be off the following day too,so it all was absolutely perfect timing !! It really didn't matter that I didn't have to work the next day,as I have had no swelling or discomfort after the surgery . Please read the entire review before you book an appointment with Antoine Dental. You've been warned!I was first introduced to Antoine Dental Center in 2014 when I presented a horrible pain in one of my back molars. I was told I needed a root canal. I proceeded and got the root canal done along with the crown. I was also presented with a plan of action for the rest of my dental care. Retrospectively analyzing the treatment plan, it is disorganized and not tailored to offer the best patient care. I had many procedures done and problems kept arising throughout the years. In my plan of action, a cleaning was not offered which could potentially had eliminated many of the future problems. I had four root canals and crown placements done at this location. Two crowns/RC were done by Dr. Behzad Nazari and the other two by Dr.Simon Samo. The last two crowns I got done by Dr.Samo were in my upper left molars near my wisdom tooth. I've had a horrible experience with their dental work. My gums are always swollen in this vicinity. Every time I eat, large amounts of food get stuck in the gap between the crowns and my normal teeth. It is extremely difficult to get the food unstuck with floss as my gums get very irritated in those regions and eventually swell. As I floss, it seems as if the floss gets stuck in a part of the crown as well. I cannot eat meat as it will also swell my gums in that region. The worst part of this situation is that when these symptoms first appeared, I would go back to their office to inform the doctor of these issues and they would not listen to my concerns. I suggested Dr.Samo that perhaps my crowns needed to be redone, he objected. One broke within two weeks of placement and I was forced to pay half of the cost to replace it. The same issues persisted with the replacement and I was told that these symptoms would go away with time. The dentists and their "business manager" didn't want to redo my crowns that were causing me much pain because they had to cover the costs. It has been about two years since my last visit and I continue to have the same issues. I always saw a distinct black line where my crown meets my gumline and never thought this was normal, although Dr.Samo would tell me it was normal when I would bring it up. I've got a second opinion from other specialist and I've been told the following (along the lines): -The crown has an open contact. When you eat food it slides down between that tooth and the one next to it causing pressure on the gum. Also the area called the margin where the crown seals the tooth at the gumline is over-bulked causing gum swelling. Due to this inflammation, the gum is receding away from the crown and the black line is the metal that is under the porcelain. The crown needs to be redone by the people that did it in the first place at no cost, as this is their guarantee in their work. I have attached pictures of my crowns and you can clearly see the back line between the crown and my gums (sorry about the disgusting look) along with some paperwork. I should have written this review a long time ago, but unfortunately I didn't as I kept giving them a second chance. When they read the review, I doubt they would offer to fix my situation or provide compensation for all of the discomfort and further complications they've caused me. I almost guarantee that they will copy and paste the generic response they post to most negative reviews. It is not a surprise that in 2012 Antoine Dental was involved in illegal billing practices. Went here after another place quoted me nearly $8,000 dollars for braces and they wouldn't even do the extractions there! I came here and they quoted me far less and did the extractions for me. I came here with my husband and was impressed by how organized they seem to be with having staff for specific duties. However, with PPO insurance, they were trying to charge me close to $200 for a cleaning. I told them that I had never paid that much for a cleaning, in which they asked how much I usually pay, then said that they could lower the price. What?? They were also trying to charge my husband (under my insurance) $800 for a deep cleaning. I researched long and hard for a dentist that would meet my very specific needs, and found Antoine Dental. I feared as I waited in the waiting room that perhaps I had made the wrong choice because I was super anxious, and had been waiting for some time. All my fears drifted away once they took me back to my exam. They confirmed my concerns with x-rays and pictures, but didn't make me wait for treatment. They did my root canal right then and there. They made certain I was comfortable during the entire process, and sent me home with a prescription for antibiotics and ibuprofen. Very few dentists take the time for these details. I'm headed back next week for them to take impressions for my crown (waiting for all the swelling to go down....smart!!), and to do my cleaning. This was a wonderful experience. Braces are off and I continued to go there for cleanings until I decided to go to a different dentist downtown with amazing reviews and I just learned that the work I got done at Antoine Dental was not done correctly and teeth that were pulled before and during braces should've never been pulled. The dentist explained so many things that Antoine Dental did wrong and I now have to visit a bone specialist to see what can be done. I cannot stress this enough!!! DO NOT GO TO ANTOINE DENTAL! You get braces taken off and you think everything is fine because *most* teeth are straight (work was not perfect) then you go to a dentist who actually cares and you realize there's damage to the teeth because of the way Antoine performed the work. Buyer beware. I went to Antoine Dental for the free x-ray and braces consultation. Although we had an appointment we waited for over one hour and 30 mins to be seen past our appt time. Although, the staff was pleasant the wait was very inconsiderate. Two weeks later, I receive a bill from insurance that paid out Antoine Dental for the supposedly FREE...but not so free consultation. My mother also went to them for general cleaning because her dentist was on vacation. The dentist told her she had 11, not one but 11 cavities. Please take into consideration my mother does not eat sugary foods, doesn't eat candy, chew gum, or drink soda. She goes to her regular dentist three times a year, brushes and flosses twice a day. My mother was in total disbelief and decided to get a second real opinion from her regular dentist after he came back from vacation. Guess how many cavities she had.....drum roll please....NONE. Steer clear of this place. I shelled out over $800 dollars out of pocket for my daughter root canal, and now I'm questioning whether it was truly necessary. We are writing a formal complaint to the board of dentistry and the BBB. Update: 7/31 I have spoken with Oscar (very professional and cordial) and he has reversed the charges for my free braces consultation and x-rays to my insurance company. * My daughter is still pending the 2nd opinion. * Oscar has agreed to provide us with the digital copies of the x-rays for comparison with our regular dentist. This place has it all as far as machines and equipment so that you don't have to go to other dentist'. I used to go to their previous location on Antoine and just recently found the new office. I really liked the little walk thru Samuel C. gives the new patients; he is super nice and friendly and everyone walks out with a little goodie bag. Everything seemed super organized and clean- gotta love that! I want to give it a 5 stars but geez I need work and its pricey, but thats my fault. I would like to thank all of the staff that assisted me with getting a visit with Dr. Sanjar Naderi to have my wisdom and molar teeth extracted. I was in excruciating pain for 2 weeks; no sleep and I could barely eat. I don't really trust dentist with my teeth because it is always so painful during cleanings and extractions. My sister and nephew referred me to Antoine Dental Center off I-45 frwy. I trust my sister and nephew's advise. When I arrived at Antoine Dental the pain was so bad that my face and head was hurting. I was told by the front desk representative that the wait time would be at the least an hour wait. At that point I didn't care how long it would take, I just knew I needed this pain to go away. Overall, it was a great experience to walk into a dentist office with a pleasant and concerned staff. Thank you to the X-ray Tech, Dental Assistants, sorry I didn't get your names because I was in so much pain. A special thank you to Dr. Sanjar Naderi, I was a little nervous at first, but Dr. Naderi had that calming affect, which made me comfortable for the extraction procedure.
