This place is pretty disappointing. They got me in at a reasonable price but they raise it 30% each time. Now it's 210 for a cleaning - egregious. Also they also try to upsell you on stuff you don't need like sealants. They had a random specialist come in and tell my wife she needed $3k of work. We got a second opinion and they said it was not needed. Convenient location for the heights is all it offers but I'd find someone else. read more

I initially gave a positive review due to friendly staff and a convenient location, but my experience with Dr. Adriana M. Salinas has been a nightmare. After she filled two cavities in June 2024, I've had constant pain and multiple visits for adjustments--none of which resolved the issue. Despite emailing for months, I was ignored. I can no longer chew on that side, and I've now been told by another dentist that her filling may have caused a tooth fracture. I'm seeing an endodontist to address the damage, which will cost thousands. I deeply regret trusting her with my care. read more

Scammed and inexperienced. This office damaged 2 of my teeth and I had to go to another dentist to fix it. They over shaved my tooth and left me with big gaps. I left this office with excruciating pain after they did 2 teeth fillings. Also, the dentist said I needed 4 root canals so I went and got 2 other opinions and they both stated that I did not need any. The tooth cleaning was not done properly they did brush them nor put any toothpaste on them. They billed my insurance for a cleaning that they did not do. They tried to get me to get root canals that I did not need. Not happy with this dentist office at all. read more

My wife and I have been going to our neighborhood "The Dentists at 650 Heights" for over two years. Sandy, in the front office is always courteous and promptly books appointments. I always get a reminder call prior to my appointment. She knows me by name and takes plenty of time working to fit me in at a convenient time. Also, I realize that at a dentist or doctor's office, there may be delays due to unscheduled emergencies. Here, I have never had to wait more than a reasonable amount of time. Dr. Valentini has done routine and gum dental work for me and she is very professional and mindful of my anxiety and fear of dental work. I am one of those people who take longer to deaden, and my past experience with other dentists is that they rush me through the deadening process and accordingly, I experience pain. That is specifically why I left my previous dentist, never to return. Here, all the employees and dentists have worked with me and made my visits more bearable...pain-free! Dr. Valentini listens to my concerns and runs a professional office. I have made several referrals to her due to my satisfaction with her and her staff members. Every dental assistant and the other employees take the effort to provide excellent customer service. I wish there was enough space to compliment each of them here by name! I have no negative feedback whatsoever. Dr. Harb is also at the office and specializes in crowns and related procedures. I have also been impressed with her professionalism. Recently, I had a night guard that needed adjustment and Dr Harb herself worked on it a few times in an attempt to resolve its issues. Each time that I have had her perform procedures on me, she does not rush the process, but takes her time, adequately explains all aspects, and properly completes the procedure. I recommend these dentists without any reservations whatsoever. Being in the neighborhood is a bonus, but I would travel to visit them if I had to! read more

Ok, so I'm pretty pissed. I came in for a "basic teeth cleaning" and told it would be $99. I haven't had my teeth cleaned in a while so I knew there would be some buildup of bacteria, etc. After doing the X-Rays they used the tried and true scare tactic method of "wow" and "we need to do something now". I didn't go to dental school, but last time I checked your mouth is a living organism and is always going to have certain amount of bacteria regardless of how recent your cleaning was. My current insurance plan doesn't cover dental so it is all out of pocket. They wouldn't do a "basic cleaning" because they needed to be "deep cleaned". I mentioned that in 3-6 months I will have dental coverage and can come back for that service then, but today just wanted the $99 basic cleaning to get the ball rolling. (I have interviews coming up and wanted my damn teeth cleaned). They refused the service and brought out a bill that was going to be $1,370 for a deep cleaning. (Even if insurance covers 80% that is absurd) On top of them refusing the basic cleaning today, they charged me $59 just for the X-rays (which I had to request) and for the dentist's ASSISTANT to tell me these issues. I didn't even see the actual dentist. My parents are long time Houston business owners (since 1989) and I understand treating your customers right, and this is definitely not it. So I just paid $59 for someone to tell me that I needed a deep cleaning. Thanks.... read more

Nice place, nice dentists but I've been a few times for crown work and have the following complaints: - last two visits I waited for 45min in lobby and 15min in the chair before we got stared. They always say they had a big emergency and some client issue but that's the go-to response - they want you waiting so they don't have to - both times I felt rushed. As a result of their poor scheduling - basically I would recommend you go else where. I'm stuck here, due to an ongoing crown placement, so I'll be asking for the first appt of the day to get a decent visit, not rushed, and on time There are too many options out there to tolerate habitual tardiness 4-5-2017 ***update*** I've gotta say I was a little surprised these comments were read, much less taken seriously. After seeing my comment, which I still stand by, the team at Dentist650 have worked hard to turn my frown upside down. The result: I've got two great crowns placed by a true specialist who is committed to excellent work. They feel great and look great. While I think scheduling can improve and I think the hours of availability for certain specialties are way too sparse, I think I'll be coming back. I like to have a place nearby the house. I love the dentist, she explains everything and is very reasonable and thorough. I typically hate the dentist's office but she makes it as painless as possible. The front office staff requires follow up and patience though. On two separate occasions they said they would call me (to pick up an item and to confirm my insurance was going to cover something) but I ended up having to follow up myself. read more

I was very impressed with Dr. Valentini. I have been on the search for a periodontist that does the LANAP surgery because another periodontist, who is not affiliated with this office, treated my gums a few years ago and he ruined my gum line with traditional cut and sew surgery. The previous surgery left me embarrassed about my smile because it left spacing in between teeth. Additionally, he cut back the gum line on the front tooth which left the gum line looking really really unsymmetrical. I eventually got over the embarrassment, but since that surgery, I had been on the lookout for alternative ways to treat my perio issues. I visited Dr. Valentini and she gave me hope that she could treat the perio issues and not alter my gum line in a negative way. We've discussed a plan to get the gums healthy again and to fix the gum line without needing cosmetic surgery. The first part is the LANAP surgery to get the gums healthy again and then the pinhole gum surgery to repair recession from the previous cut and sew surgery. Yesterday she performed the LANAP and I chose not to be sedated. My mouth was numbed and Dr. Valentini worked her magic. The LANAP surgery did not take long and before I knew it I was on my way home. I was given pain medication, but did not need it. Once the numbing wore off, I was fine and did not experience any pain. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience. I read some other reviews about scheduling and wait time issues, but I did not have that. When I called in, I got the appointment scheduled and there was hardly any wait time when I arrived. Everyone that works there was nice and friendly. I want to stress though how important it was for me to find a periodontist that could do the most for my health and appearance of my smile with the least amount of pain, the least amount of procedures, the least amount of money and a quick recovery time. Dr. Valentini satisfied those requirements! I had consulted with other periodontist and it seemed like expensive cosmetic surgery was the only route but after visiting Dr. Valentini I have a whole new outlook and I'm on my way to healthy gums and a better-looking smile! read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Valentini. I had to have some emergency work done. Her office squeezed me in the end of the next day. I did have to wait but they stayed late to assist me. I never felt she was in a hurry. I had her full attention. The procedure required bone replacement and stitches. It was quick and not at all unpleasant. Although they provided pain medication for the next few days, I never needed them. I had a similar experience when my Grand-daughter was treated by her for gum disease. Dr. Valentini was precise, the procedure was fairly non-invasive, quick and the follow up visits were always set to match my work schedule. My Grand-daughter has had no recurrence of gum disease. She is not only offers general dentistry but also periodontic and endodontic services. In addition, her office worked with me to find a payment plan so I didn't have to stress over how I was going to pay at the time of service. I'm more than pleased. read more

I can't stress enough how good Dr. Valentini is. She has changed my view of going to the dentist a 100%. Not only the whole experience went perfect but completely painless and fast, and she also did the cleaning!!! (Yes, the Dr. not a dental hygienist). Every dentist I have been has always tried to sell me every single procedure, as at the end of the day is a business for them. Well, not Dr. Valentini... even though she specializes in periodontics and that's my weak spot, she never pushed or tried to convince to do anything I wasn't up for. Im only giving one star because i cant give zero. I have had the worst experience with them. On July 20th, I had my front right tooth repaired. Just a basic resin filing. The filing wasn't done very well, it was thinner and taller than my other front tooth but figured id get used to it and was glad it was repaired. Come mid November, I bite into an apple and the tooth breaks again. I go to an endodontic, who was wonderful btw, and had them check my tooth and give me a diagnosis. The doctor ran tests and x-rays and gave a diagnosis stating that i needed to get the tooth crowned. I then called here and asked them to review the diagnosis and give me a prorated rate on the tooth since it was fixed less than a year ago. I paid ~350 dollars and was given 200 dollars off the 800 dollar procedure. I make the appointment with the doctor to look at my tooth and begin the process. The doctor looks at my tooth and AGREES that i need a crown. After the appointment I pay for the crown and am given an appointment to get a temporary crown. When I come in for the temporary crown, the doctor looks at my teeth and asks the nurse "Does he know my process?" then informed me that before anything was to be put in my mouth, i needed to do a 2 week at home bleaching and one in house session. I didnt want to do it but the doctor kept guilting and insisting i did it so the teeth color would match and look normal. I then agreed and paid ~600 dollars to do the bleaching. I do most of the 2 weeks and come in for the in house bleaching. I had to miss a few hours of work because of that. Once the service has been done, the doctor comes back and tells me that "Im too young for a crown"and instead wants to do another resin filling. Mind you, I have a history with this tooth breaking and the doctor was aware. I was starting to get upset and peeved. Before i left i made sure that i would be given the difference back and was told that I would be refunded when I got my tooth filled. Fine. I still had a day or two with the at home bleaching and was told to call the dentist to make the appointment to get filled when I finished. I call them and set the appointment for January 14th. From mid November to January and nothing has been done to fix my tooth. Unfortunately, I then had to reschedule due to coming in contact with someone who had covid and rescheduled it for the 27th. I was then called the morning before my appointment to see if I could move my appointment an hour earlier ( a very common occurrence) and I agreed. When I show up to the office, the appointment was made for a cleaning and not a filling. Im beyond upset at this point. Im a student who works and, as cliche as it sounds, for me time is money. I had to miss class to go get my tooth 'filled'. The nurse comes over and tries to justify their error. After some calm discourse, she goes back to the desk for about 10 minutes. She then comes back and informs me that the doctors schedule is full and cant squeeze me in but that I can be seen on Tuesday (02/01) at the earliest. At that point I asked for my money back and left. Once i calmed down in my car, i called them back and asked for a refund for the filling from July. I was told almost immediately that i could not get a refund because it was 'service tendered'. I then reminded them about how the 'service' lasted less than six months. About one third of a year, to be more precise. The nurse then told me how due to the location of the tooth and its history, the filling could last a few months or a few years and that they didn't know how long it would last. I was NOT informed this was the case. I am infuriated at this point and ask why something was put in my mouth that was not a guaranteed fix with an unknown lifespan. I have had a long history and had this tooth filled twice. Both of which survived years of lego separating and crashing in to walls. The nurse then tries to justify the doctor and use my tooth history to explain why it broke so quickly. Again, I ask about why something was put in my mouth that was not a guaranteed or more suitable fix knowing about my history. I then remind them that I have a diagnosis from a endodontist that says i need a crown. I was then told that it was a "conservative" diagnosis. If it was so conservative, why did the dentist agree that i needed a crown and have me go through the bleaching process under the pretenses that I would be getting a crown? I was scammed with the bleaching because it was costly and unnecessary. At this point Im reaching the end of my rope and we are going in circles. The nurse then says that shes going to talk to the doctor about this and see what can be done. I get a call back 2 hours later saying that they're refunding me 200 dollars from the original procedure. Jokes on me because I'm out 1,050 dollars (300 from the endodontist, 600 from bleaching and 150 from the first filling) and a still chipped tooth. I suggest looking for a new and more competent dentist. read more

Service was above and beyond any dentist I've visited before. Everyone from the staff, dental assistants, to the dentist herself were friendly and responsive. Dr. Stijacic saw me on short notice for a fractured tooth. She was awesome. Great, calming beside manner, skilled hands, and extremely thorough. She said she would check with the office manager and call me back. It is Saturday and she still has not called back. If that is how the office is run, I don't want to take my business there. I went to 650 heights for check up and i told them that I've X-rays. They told me that they don't charge for them and they are taking x-ray for their records but they claimed x-ray fee on my insurance. Also, they had not done what I wanted. Just ripped off money and no service. Disappointing!!!!!! I will never visit again. read more
