Very good local casual Mexican place, with full bar. Ordered chicharrones (crispy pork belly with skin), crunchy/hot/juicy/fatty/salty...screw my diet, it was soo good. Got a bunch of tacos, buche, cabeza, tripa, barbecua, al pastor, chorizo, with onions cilantro and doused with lime. All were delish, loved the corn tacos grilled chewy and firmer than flour. Also had fried whole fish, and poblano stuffed pepper plates. Wanted mole, but they ran out. All were very tasty and with generous portions. We had take home with left overs. All the patrons were locals, except us. Waitress was kind and patient. Support your local mom and pop places!! read more

Right on US1, you blink and u miss this place. Walk in and you will see lots of colors, which is very mexican. Fun, vibrant colors. We were seated right away and our food was brought promptly. We had the tacos (al pastor and carne asada) and the green enchiladas. The enchiladas came with beans and rice. When you order the enchiladas, you have a choice of chicken or cheese. We got chicken for ours. Enchiladas were topped off with lettuce, tomato and crema (not sure why or if it was necessary but hey, when in rome, do like the greeks!) The tacos al pastor were really good. The carne asada tacos were good but the al pastor where better. Can't go wrong with that one. read more

Came here for some tacos & margaritas on a Sunday. Awesome service, very quick & attentive. They don't have any vegetarian options on the menu but we're more than happy to accommodate for me & make me some veggie tacos. They were amazing, the cheese empanada was so crispy & hot. Drinks are 2 for 1 all day everyday, they were well made. If you're dining in they have a porch with tons of tables many big enough for families. The inside is quaint & authentic. It was t the best I've had, but definitely one of the better ones in Florida. Only complaint would be the portion sizes. At first look the prices seem really good, but the servings are tiny. This is truly a simple, no-frills, hole-in-the-wall restaurant, but we really enjoyed our lunch here. We tried these tacos: chorizo, fish, carnitas, al pastor, and carne asada. All delicious! The grilled onions they came with were amazing! We paid the extra 50 cents to add lettuce, tomato, and avocado. The tacos were a bit small, but they were big in flavor, were pretty full, and the price was just right. We also tried the cheese empanada. It was fried in a corn tortilla and topped with lettuce, tomato, and crema. Yummy! Their sauces are hot! Our waitress was very nice. We may have been there on an off day, but it was a Sunday at 12:30. We were the only ones there, so we decided to eat inside. We asked for a small guacamole before we ordered. It arrived as I was finishing my very lackluster green enchiladas. My husband had their suggestion of grilled steak with vegetables-- it was tough, no tortillas served with it, looked bad tasted bad. The chips were about 10 in a bowl. We really like small Mexican family owned restaurants, but this is not one we will be back to eat in again. read more

When we placed our order, I'm used to doing clockwise from left to right and he first took the orders of the girls then the guys and he embarrassed one of the guy at our table because he was going to order and he said no, let the ladies order first, but with a nasty attitude I wasn't gonna tip him but he charged $16 of tip on our receipt. read more

The food was great!! You get a complimentary basket of chips and salsa, but beware, the salsa is VERY spicy! We were warned though. For lunch, we ordered the cheese Chile relleno lunch special. We got fresh, hot corn tortillas, rice, and beans for $5.99! It was well worth it. The place is very small with just a window unit air conditioner so it was pretty warm in there. We ordered a few things from here, one Gordita with chicken and two al pastor tortas with a large side of guacamole. The tortas were dry and the meat didn't even cover half of the sandwich which caused the tortas to be dry and salty, it had a lot of cheese but no fresh veggies like it is supposed to have. The lettuce and tomato was wilted and soggy. The guacamole needed more lime and salt and I still had to go back inside to ask for chips because they didn't even include it on the order. I paid almost $7 for a large side of guacamole that was maybe 1 avocado with a lot of pico de gallo. It honestly was mostly pico de Gallo mix and little avocado and it didn't even have a chips side. I gave them two stars because it was our first time there and I still have to try the other dishes. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. read more

Very argumentative, when we arrived we waited an additional ten minutes while it was raining. And came back to pick up our order that was pre ordered. When I called the store the gentleman that answer said "I came out looking for you and you where gone" I informed him that I waited for a while and he insisted that I did not wait for a while. I was born and raised in San Diego and one thing us Californians are the best at is judging other state's Mexican food. After almost giving up on finding good, home cooked Mexican food I stopped into this place. The guacamole was perfectly mixed - not too chunky not too liquidy. I had the chorizo, carne asada and carnitas tacos all of which were amazing and served on homemade corn tortillas. The sangria was 2 for 1 and so worth it. I even liked the salsa - despite my inability to use more than a few dabs of it The best part was that despite being the obvious gringo that can't handle spicy salsa or two sangrias, everyone was super nice and friendly. Very very good tacos. I haven't tried anything else but the tacos were fantastic. Those small corn tacos that's feels almost gourmet-like, well seasoned cooked perfectly. The only place I've had this type of taco was at some fancy fake Mexican restaurant which charged $12 for two of them. So happy to have found a homey authentic Mexican place with that style of taco here for such a good price. The waitress was really sweet and gentle, service was fast (though there is currently no one here). They're playing football on TV and the place is empty with the perfect temperature inside, not too hot or too cold. Very classic Mexican style interior, it's not too little yet not overbearing. We love authentic Mexican food and will go out of our way (within reason) for the real deal. We saw this place - did a quick yelp check and decided to try it. Upon entering, I detected a bit of attitude from the waiter who told us to sit where we wanted. We ordered beers and asked for chips and salsa. The salsa was in ketchup type squeeze bottles; no salsa bowl. Wanting to wash our hands, we were told that the rest room was outside. It was not sanitary for even hand washing. I wanted beef enchiladas, but was told by the waiter that they only came with chicken. My wife questioned this and he then said, with a bit of attitude, that they could make them with beef. We then both ordered enchiladas. Within two minutes both platters arrived, served by another gentleman who warned that the plates were hot (they were not hot). I took a bite of mine and while the plate was warm, the refried beans were at best, room temperature. I tried the rice; cold also. I then tried the enchiladas and found them to be the same degree of room temperature. My wife's plate was the same. A waiter with an attitude and cold food then put me in a disagreeable mood. I summonsed the waiter and asked if they had a microwave to warm our food. He took my plate but given the degraded situation, I figured that someone would just spit in it I then got up and walked to the counter and told him that I wanted to pay the bill and leave. Spent Cinco De Mayo dining at Antojitos Mexicanos. We were greeted immediately and seated. The server brought over chips and two different salsa's, both were extremely hot, but good. Luckily we had our beer and margarita to cool us down. We also ordered guacamole to go with our chips. It was homemade and tasty. For dinner we ordered the Beef, chicken, and shrimp fajitas. YUMMY! They were served with all the usual things and HOMEMADE tortillas. Next, we ordered pork tamales. They are made in house and were delicious! Last we ordered flan for dessert. The flan was served with the normal flan caramel sauce, but it also had a chocolate sauce over it. Nice ending after all the "Hot". We met "Eduardo" who told us they make hundreds of tamales every other day. Popular item! He asked us if we were satisfied with everything and made us feel right at home.
