I also ordered the thing and crispy plantain chips for $1 (yes, a dollar!!) so you must order those. Bread and a small salad are also served. The ambiance! We came at night and sat outside - it had just rained and the coqui frogs were singing. It was such a relaxing vibe and apparently a beautiful view in the daytime. It's a simple, unassuming spot, but the food rivals any high-end restaurant. We ordered the grouper, which was exceptionally fresh and flavorful, accompanied by perfectly seasoned vegetables and a high-quality green salad. The wine pours were generous and very reasonably priced. Beyond the food, the service was superb; the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. This is a five-star experience. It will definitely be a destination for us every time we return to Mayagüez.
