Hands down the best pizza we've had on the island. We came in on a Saturday evening to get pizza for my kids but the slices looked so good we ordered pizza slices for all of us. I had sausage while the others tried pepperoni and cheese slices. The pizza crust is fantastic. The crust has a buttery garlic seasoning and it was delightfully crisp. The restaurant is large and has plenty of seating. They had coloring books and crayons for children and playing cards too. I'm so glad we found this pizza spot! My children loved it. read more

We ate dinner here on a weekday around 7:30pm and both the service and the food were great. We were served a plantain soup and toasted and buttered bread when we arrived - both good. My 7 year old ordered pizza which he enjoyed and both my husband and I had mofongo dishes - the stuffed mofongo with churrasco was spectacular. Our server checked on us often (not too much). We ordered one of the family meals and added sausage and pepperoni to 1/2 of the pie. The owner took our order and was super nice. We had no idea what "palitroques" were, he kindly explained they were like what we call garlic knots in the states. While we waited we noticed the dining area was super clean and welcoming. What we presume was the owner offered paper plates, cups and seasoning for our food. This is a place we would definitely revisit and recommend as you can clearly see this is a hardworking family business. It definitely ain't no Domino's. read more

Fantastic pizza find in Aguada, PR. We wandered in on our way back to Aguadilla after catching a sunset in Rincon. Perfect ending to a perfect day. The owner was welcoming and the pizza was fantastic! We had a medium bacon, a large pepperoni, and a large veggie w/no cheese for the vegans among us. All was excellent! Reasonable prices as well. Owner grew up in NYC and speaks both Spanish and English. Garlic oil on the crust gave it that special "extra" that separates this place from the other pizzas we tried. All the way from Jersey to visit the beautiful island, specifically the west coast. My daughter suggested pizza as a quick fix to our hunger. Lisapissa was one of the main places that popped up. I stopped in, met Lisapissa herself. She immediately made me feel at home, and suggested I get a combination calzone. I say this right now: come with an appetite because Lisa will do the typical Puerto Rican thing to do, feed you for plenty. The calzone was not only amazing but the pizza was just as explained, some of the best I've had, island or not. It's got that Northern US taste. She took pictures and while I was gonna drink a local grape soda you can only purchase in Puerto Rico, Colony - Uvita, I decided to indulge with an "Ok!" Cola champagne.
