What an amazing time we had at Antonio's. We had a lovely seat at the window. The space is beautiful and a nice change for Darien restaurants. Our servers Juan and Julian were so perfectly attentive, funny and friendly. The food: I need to come back and try more things!!! The 3 of us split 5 apps/ small plates. The Burrata and lamb were delicious. And the octopus had great flavors. We also got them to cut us a piece of tiramisu even tho we missed the cut off for the kitchen. And I heard they opened another location in lake George! The rose was delicious too!!

So happy to see this spot absolutely packed on a Saturday night! It's upscale but also casual. Lots of groups and dates. Definitely need a reservation for weekend nights. The menu is extensive with so many options to choose from with Italian classics and creative additions. Waiters (and back waiters) were super attentive and made the experience seamless. Into food... every dish we ordered was fabulous. Limoncello was delicious and superbly boozy. Can't wait to go back :)

The first thing you notice walking in is the atmosphere. It's gorgeous--lots of natural light during the day and soft, moody lighting in the evening that plays off the wood floors and exposed recovered beams. It feels organic and warm, yet the white tablecloths and pressed-leather menus let you know you're in for a serious meal. The service was impressively discreet; they were always there when we needed something but never interrupted the flow of our conversation. They started us off with some incredibly fresh bread, which was a great sign of things to come. For starters, do not skip the Mussels Fra Diabolo. The broth has a perfect hit of garlic and basil, and the crostini is essential for soaking up every drop of that marinara. We also tried the Parmesan Brussel Sprouts--the candied walnuts add a crunch and sweetness that balances the savory sprouts perfectly. For the mains, the Chicken and Wild Mushrooms Pappardelle was a standout. The truffle oil was fragrant without being overpowering, and the presentation tied the whole dish together. I also have to mention the Roasted Chicken. It's rare to find chicken this flavorful and juicy with such a distinct, crispy skin. The combination of spicy sausage and cherry peppers gave it a nice heat, balanced out by the whipped potatoes and spinach. We finished with the coconut and blood orange sorbet, which was the ideal light, refreshing conclusion to the meal. If you're looking for a place where you can actually hear your companions speak while enjoying top-tier presentation and food quality, this is it. A total culinary delight.

Delicious Italian food in a relaxed but polished atmosphere, with friendly service. Perf for a date or large group accommodation. Our server surprised us with champagne to go with the homemade chocolate lava cake....so good. I'm glad I know about this restaurant now, and I think they need to get the word out more about their business - they should be busier! Rooting for Scena.

The menu is some what tied into the Puglia region, which is the heel of the boot. I could tell the italian dialect from the owner when he was speaking to one of the staff, it immediately gave me a good feeling that this restaurant would be really good. The appetizers we had were all really good, we had the fried calamari, the grilled Octopusss, the fried zucchini flowers and thd hummus special. Sorry no pics of these. We had a couple of the Orrechiette Barese, Chicken parmigiana, a pasta special of fettuccine with shrimp in a cream and pesto sauce, another pasta with cavatelli, shrimp and cream and pesto sauce, really couldn't see the pesto, probably could have used a little more or maybe a little finishing with the pesto on top. Service was good and the owner came around to introduce himself and we got a complimentary round of their homemade creama di limencello to finish off the experience. Wr wouldn't hesitate to go again the next time we are in town to see a show.

We had a great table by the window. The waitperson was gracious. Our group met to discuss an important matter so we were a bit slow ordering. Our food was fantastic. I especially enjoyed my Paella And another diner loved the Brussels Sprout Salad with truffle vinaigrette, and the Beet Salad. My other companion thought the grilled octopus was special. The Albarino we ordered was delicious too. The only downside I can think to mention is the musical journey beginning in the 80s! And we were still able to have our serious conversation. I will be returning.

The atmosphere felt very grown and polished without being overly formal...the kind of place that's lively and stylish but still comfortable enough to relax and hang out. I was surprised by the Spanish stuffed peppers; It was better than I expected, filled with rich, slow-braised oxtail short rib ragu that was incredibly tender, savory, and full of deep flavor. The slight smoky sweetness from the peppers balanced the hearty meat perfectly. Such a unique memorable tapa. Perfect spot for drinks, sharing plates, and a fun night out.
