I eat here wayyyy too often, but it is very consistent and has a lot of variety. Can't beat the pizza by the slice or the wings! but, they did something awesome for us that you don't usually see at pizza places: Antonios in Belchertown did an amazing job hosting our wedding rehearsal dinner! The Belchertown location has a nice side room with several booths and can easily host 25 people. First off, the place just looked great. They had a bucket of ice for wine, and a couple pitchers of beer that were being constantly refilled. The staff was SUPER attentive and we never had to ask or wait to have plates cleared or get more bottles of wine. The pizza of course was fresh, and they kept it coming as we needed more. One thing they don't seem to advertise much is they're seafood pizza, which is AMAZING. Shrimp and crabmeat (fake crabmeat, but that stuff is actually whitefish so its still real seafood) and butter and I think some dill. No red or white sauce, doesn't need it. read more

This food would be awesome... if your absolutely hammered. Ordered "spicy buffalo" chicken which on a spice level I would compare it to the spice level of a banana. The chicken was dry and on the verge of being pink. Also ordered a cheese pizza, which the cheese tasted like plastic and you could tell was processed. After getting over the grease and clumps of cheese the crust was very good. I would say that was the best part of my diner. I've been here to eat many times and it's been great. I ordered takeout the other night for the first time and was really disappointed. I ordered 8 wings of spicy buffalo and 8 Smokey honey mustard. As someone who works in the Amherst area and lives in Belchertown, you can pencil me in as a regular customer. I am a plain Jane when it comes to pizza, and the hubs likes the crazy toppings slices. The last two times I ordered from here were just unacceptable. A few months ago, a friend flew in from Florida. We ordered a veggie and a plain cheese. The veggie was soggy and overloaded and cost an astronomical amount of money for such a terrible pizza. It was like they made a cheese pizza and then threw all the veggies on half way through. They weren't cooked at all. We all split the cheese and went on with our night- I then knew better than to order anything other than a plain cheese pizza. Boy was I wrong. On mother's day, I was allowed to pick anything for dinner... plain cheese pizza please! It was laughable how absolutely disgusting the pizza turned out to be. Again, a big soggy, sloppy mess. We put it in the oven to try to revive it but were unsuccessful. My husband ate a slice with a fork and knife because it was so soggy he couldn't pick up a slice with his hands. I was so bummed that night and the next morning and decided to call and talk to a manager. I explained that we are regular customers and told her all about the night before. I asked if there were new staff members or if someone was in training (thought this could be the case given it was graduation time for many colleges in the area). I got no apology from the manager (Kim), instead, she said she would take my name and number and "investigate" and call me back. I gave my name, number, and info from my receipt. No offer for a refund. No call back. Two strikes and you're out in my book. Other people have commented that this location is inconsistent to the Amherst shop and I now have seen it for myself. As a loyal customer to the Antonio's in Amherst I can rightfully say what I have come to expect from this brand both in food quality, price, and customer service! All are lacking at this location but none more than the customer service, no effort is made to give the same experience as the Amherst location. They bill themselves as an affiliate of the Amherst location but their customer service standards are abysmal, I have repeatedly been overcharged each time and tonight I brought it to their attention but yet again checking their price point in the menu I was clearly overcharged for a 3rd time. This wreaks of shadiness and I am absolutely disgusted!!!!! I have never left a poor review on Yelp and strive not to despite the fact that some of my dining experiences have been sub par (if anyone doubts me feel free to check out my profile). My belief is everyone is entitled to an off day and unless they go out of their way to be nasty or unprofessional I say let it go but this has become the norm with Antonio's in Belchertown, so much so I see it bordering on blatant extortion! As someone who has to dine out frequently for work, I can say with absolute assurance that this owner should be ashamed of his establishment!!!!! I suggest those looking to get pizza look elsewhere, drive the 15 minutes to the one in Amherst and you will see and experience real customer service! Or try Giovani's in Chicopee, the food and service are outstanding!!!! Last point when it comes to their customer loyalty program with their punch card that truly is an oxymoron with this establishment!!!! Multiple times I have been denied a punch on my card and once the waitress took my yellow punch card (which is for by the pizza not the slice) never took the value off our bill for our free pizza and replaced it with a by the slice card! That time we had friends coming up from CT who wanted Antonio's and couldn't wait to try the new place in town and let's just say the were monumentally disappointed as well!!!!!! The only reason for the 2 stars is because the food is still good but time for this establishment to stop acting like they've cornered the market in town and show their customers appreciation for frequenting their restaurant! I've lived in belchertown my whole life and I couldn't be happier to have a decent restaurant in town. The atmosphere is awesome they have a great bar area and a large drink menu. The set up is a little strange. They offer both pizza by the slice and full service dining but if you're dining in and want just a slice you have to go get it yourself. The food was good but I wish they were more accommodating with doing 1/2 pizzas. They refused to even leave one ingredient off of half of a medium pizza they said they could only do that with larges. We ended up with way more pizza than we needed. The only other thing I didn't like was that they don't offer a kids menu. I feel like restaurants in Belchertown need to accommodate families to survive since that's most of their market. We're not a college town that can get away with catering only to the 21+ crowd. We have been coming here with our kids, friends and family since Antonio's opened. We've never, ever encounter the rude treatment from the blond woman who seems to be the manager tonight. If your 3 year old dares to take off his flip flops, beware of Cruela Deville's (un)friendly insistance that the kid must wear shoes. Also they messed up the order and our friendly server (thanks, Kimberly!) told us that the pizza would be no charge and that they'd make a new one. Cruella , after seeing our 3 y/o grabbing a slice from the pizza, came to the table to take it away "I'm fine putting a new order in for you but I need to take this pizza back to the kitchen" sheesh! Sad, because the owners and the rest of the staff have always been so kind and attentive to its customers, this visit leaves a bitter taste. read more

I eat here too much. Like, all the time. My gut has increased in size and I'm really going to have to start riding a bike or something, man. The staff are all friendly and I can't say enough about the variety of boutique pizza slices. If I want a whole traditional pizza, I go to La Trattoria, but there's nothing that satisfies like a slice of Antonio's buffalo chicken blue cheese or their spicy beef taco pizza. I'd love to see if they're working on any new varieties though, because I really do end up there so much that I've burned myself out on most of the choices. Five stars. This is a must at least once every time that I am back in town! Great selections of pizza (buffalo chicken and chicken bacon ranch are favorites), prices are reasonable, and service is quick and friendly. While they have their flagship location in nearby Amherst, this is a great stop if you want more indoor seating, more of a restaurant vibe, and to avoid the college crowd. Great new location same great slices! They transformed what use to be the old Apollo's into a brand new space offering traditional dining, a bar area and outdoor space. The also serve more than their great pizza which I look forward to trying upon my next visit. The gluten free pizza was pretty good, maybe need to cook longer to crisp it a little, but they do a nice job looking out for dietry needs. They have a nice line up of draft brews as well. Lots of designer pizza, always available by the slice, and somehow always very fresh. Each of these concoctions must have its devotees for the restaurant to be able to provide -- on demand -- a slice catering to whatever finicky mood you're in that day, with quick dispatch. Personally, I love the salad pizza, a slice served cold with garden greens on top of a scrumptiously doughy triangular wedge. This is so far from pizza as I knew it growing up, that it is almost difficult to call it by this name. But even by any other name, it would taste as sweet. It's also a pleasure to place your order and then grab a seat on your own, keeping the wait times to a minimum, while still ensuring the comfort of a restaurant experience. Whoever happens to be on call that day, either at the register, running the food out, or taking your order behind the display shelves, it's axiomatic that you're going to be treated as though it is a pleasure to serve you. Fantastic pizza from the traditional cheese, pepperoni etc ... To some really great creative pizza's. I had one today that had spicy chicken, sautéed spinach, corn, sour cream drizzle and roasted red peppers, wow it was delicious. The crust was crispy, the waitstaff was friendly and knowledgable and the facility was very nice (new actually). There is even a fairly well stocked bar. I will be coming back!! read more

For the Belchertown, MA location... Ate in the dining area once, have ordered for take-out many times. The pizza here is excellent. I've had both the gluten-free and regular crust options, and they are all fantastic. Good selection of beverages, great food otherwise (had a buffalo chicken dip that was on the special board one time that was incredible), decent seating arrangements. The way you have to kind of stand in the middle of the place to pickup food is a little awkward, especially if they are busy. However, this may just be a case of having to work with the space when they moved in. While I understand only having one size for the gluten-free crust (because they almost always have to be made ahead of time and stored refrigerated), the prices on the gluten-free crust is (in my opinion) arbitrarily high for what you get. 95% of the cost of a pizza is in the toppings, not the crust. Even taking that into account, the cost of gluten-free flour isn't dramatically more than regular flour, so hopefully this can be brought into a more reasonable price point. A dollar or two more than a regular crust of the same size is a much better way of doing the price, as many other pizza places have adopted. Either way, we love the place! read more

I actually don't understand how this place has good reviews... I live in Belchertown and I have got pizza from here at least 3 times... it's ALWAYS terrible!! Very poor quality, dry, disappointing. The pizza I make at home is way better and cheaper... and I'm not a pizza connoisseur by any means. I'm bummed because we have been loyal Antonio's Belchertown customers, but in the past year or so, we have been disappointed. They have started to seriously skimp on takeaway orders. Sometimes, when ordering fries, I get a mere 12 -15 fries, which is not sufficient for the price. Also, they frequently leave components out. I got the black & blue burger today, and they not only left off the gorgonzola for which the burger is named, but the tomato and lettuce as well. I ended up with a burger with a few onions on it, which is not ok for $11.95. Quality control could be better, and it just isn't worth the money anymore, sadly. read more

Creative pizza and wonderful appetizers and wings. My favorite here is the Mexicana pizza or the Black Bean and Avocado pizza. I always go for pizza by the slice here, but hear good things about ordering their full sized pizzas as well. The real treat about this place is the variety and the unusual toppings they have available. At a lesser pizza place, something called "salad" pizza would have me running for the door, but here it is a delightful mix of baked veggies and sturdy crust. Had the chicken parm and meatball calzones. Both were just "meh". Sides of marinara were lukewarm, but tasty. The meatballs and chicken had little seasoning. Best part was the crust! I've had good salads and apps here before. Tuesday 1/2 price wings were good. They have decent beers on tap too. Stick with pizza--calzones shouldn't be a far fetch, but I wouldn't order them again. I go to very select restaurants due to a strict gluten-free, dairy-free diet. Tried their build your own medium pizza with gluten-free dough. Very light, no bloating, fresh vegetables of my choice as much as I wanted. Chicken, spinach, tomato, basil sauce, olives, Portobello shrooms, broccoli etc. No extra charge! Some places up the price for over 2 toppings. Modern atmosphere. Loved how the bar is in the center but also a pizza shop feel with high-tops and a slices only section. My first time impressed me so much I will add this restaurant to my top ten to visit. Very clean and not worried about my dairy allergy cross-contamination. Dawn, the owner is friendly and approachable. Our server, Haley was fast, friendly, and thorough. She even suggested toppings for me to mix well! Very happy read more

Was a supporter of the restaurant for years but they've gone downhill. The pizza gets burnt regularly, the service isn't as good as it once was and they seem to forget to credit people if they are owed something for a mistake they made. The manager needs to do things better around there. I'll still support the Amherst and Easthampton locations in the area but I won't be supporting that one. The experience should be better than this spot unless they get their act together. read more
