Not great. Got a small cheese pizza takeout and chicken tenders. Had to do DoorDash since we are in Hatfield. Super soggy and greasy, and there was a big smear of pizza sauce underneath half the pie that made it all really wet and gross. No idea what that was about. It felt almost passive-aggressive; some places resent DoorDash orders (even though otherwise they wouldn't get business from people like me outside the delivery radius), and I find it hard to believe that whoever packaged the pizza would just accidentally spill sauce in the box and throw the pizza on top of it anyway just out of laziness. If they did, that person should be reprimanded. There's also a lot of sugar in the pizza sauce and in the BBQ sauce that comes with the chicken tenders. The tendies were overcooked and rubbery too. Never again. I didn't even keep the leftovers, it was that bad. read more

Loved the big salads they have to offer. I got the Cajun chicken salad and split a small pizza with my Mother. I was really surprised at the quality of chicken they used. Usually chicken at pizza places are usually a bit lack luster, but the chicken tasted very fresh and well cooked. The two items I ordered were very flavorful. They didn't used to take cards so I never stopped here but recently on my way home from Springfield Fire Academy I saw they took cards! Stopped by, and let me tell you, this was the best pizza I had ever eaten. It is absolutely amazing. Fresh sauce, perfect bread, perfect cheese ratio. I was astonished and felt a little ridiculous that I hadn't stopped before. The staff was absolutely so sweet and extremely polite, the atmosphere was cozy and friendly, and it was overall a great experience. I am easily overwhelmed by larger businesses and tend to avoid them but this place felt comfortable and welcoming. I will be getting pizza here going forward. read more

For the price, this place is awesome. I was not huge fans of the wings, they were really dry. Wings seem hard to get wrong but they did. The pizza is the best! Plus the price for 2 pizza is a no brainier. So if you like dry wings go for it. Plus blue cheese is gross, give me ranch read more

Awesome food, great service and a good price. Environment was good but if you like big fancy restaurants it's probably not for you. It's a little on the small side but I believe they do a lot of take out so probably don't need anything g bigger. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area tho. read more

Payment is cash only (or local check), and they provide an ATM (with $2 transaction fee) in the restaurant, which I have used twice. Awesome pizza and even more awesome prices, the food never gets lazy, its always superb all times of day. Once during a meal Williamsburg lost power and they couldn't take ATM so they happily offered to let everyone come back and pay later. The one negative thing is no delivery which would really launch them, I personally have skipped on pizza many times because I didn't want to have to pick it up. read more

We have been buying lunch for everyone in our factory once a month for at least 5 years, maybe more. Usually costs $70 -$80 each time. A nice piece of business for our little local pizza shop. Today I drove the 12 miles to pick up our order and came to find out two items had been completely over looked. Some what embarrassed I drove back to A1 and suggested that they might at least fill the balance of our order at no charge as good will for their mistake and to show their appreciation for our business. My family and I gave been going to A1 since I was a child. Love their pizza and grinders! I haven't lived in town/nearby for about 3 years, yet every time I am visiting there, I never have to give my name for take out. They have known my regular order for about ten years now. (Or they have caller ID) but regardless I haven't had to give my name in ten years and the staff always knows what I most likely ordered. I am sure the rest of their regular clientele can relate! Never had a screw up (maybe once) but they corrected it in a professional and timely manner. Very simple, easy going and reasonably priced. Cash only, but still quick in and quick out. Simple, by no means gourmet but definitely always consistent, good quality. read more
