Went to grab lunch with my friend. Food is okay, usually pretty busy. The Chix Caesar wrap I got was pretty good, but I felt so sick after. They offer gluten free pizza which is nice, but it's because it's made to order. The other pizza sits in a case all day and they hear it up upon ordering, so it's not that fresh. Then I start to eat it and I could eat sandpaper and saw dust that would be more moist then this pizza. best part is I asked for extra sauce LOL. Hell I should of just stuck with a frozen supermarket brand $3.99 pizza. That's better then this. Then I got the truffle fries for almost $8. Barely any Fries in the container. What an amazing and new spot in Worcester!! After a cousin told me she came to Antonion's three times in one week I decided to give it a try! I entered the restaurant and was automatically greated by a hostess who showed me to a table. My waitress explained the menu and ordering process and was happy to bring out more drinks and ordering slips. I went up to the counter and ordered my pizza. They have about 20 different slices available, so it may take you a while to decide. Their slices are pre-made and then they are warmed in their large ovens behind the orderimg counter. After the slices are warmed up they are brought out to your table. The waitress is available if you want appetizers or drinks from their large menus. They have featured salads, appetizers, and large pizzas that you can order as well (their counter is just for individual slices). I ordered their chicken pesto and buffalo chicken--both were great! The only thing I wished was that the cheese pulled a little bit more. The crust is thin, but this does not stop them from piling on the seasoned toppings! The chicken pesto was the best as it was seasoned just right where you could taste the chunks of white chicken and pesto sauce. I added some peppers and cheese for extra spice on both slices! (They also taste great cold as I ended up taking home the pesto slice) Otherwise everything was very good and filled my craving for pizza! The atmosphere was very fun, laid back, and family friendly. If you want to order pizza by the slice you can just go right up to the counter and they will heat it and your waiter brings it to your table. They have so many options to chose from I wouldn't lock yourself into ordering one type. We had nachos as an app and they were really good... almost no room left for pizza good. They have a drive thru pick up window, you call ahead and then just pick up your order at the window which is super convenient. They now also offer delivery. Moved to the area in December and I've passed by a few times so we finally ordered. My wife ordered a cheese pizza for her and the kids and a chicken parm calzone for me. They started eating and said the pizza was good so I was excited to dive in; what a disappointment! It tasted nothing like any chicken parm I've ever had, the chicken seemed old, and there was way too much cheese to cover that up - it was not good. Including but not at all limited to: tortellini pesto; red tortellini with provolone, mozz, and tomato sauce, avocado quesadilla with avocado, pico de gallo, nacho chips, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, and sour cream, or their mac attack with mac and cheese ON PIZZA. If you're into steak or chicken, they have a ton of that shit pizzas but that doesn't appeal to me. WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING NOT ORDERING FROM HERE??? Ok so I debated aggressively between ordering one of their tortellini pizzas and a cheese. I feel like you can't adequately judge a pizza place without sampling their CLASSIC CHEESE. Na'mean? Ultimately when a place has mother fucking tortellini on pizza why would you order the cheese anyway? We got the pesto tortellini in medium size to save room for some other good shit they have on the menu that I'll tell you about l8r. This was GREAT. Like how could you fuck up pesto tortellini pizza? I do wish they had tomato sauce also, that would be FIRE. The tortellini was kinda dotted around instead of absolutely covering the thing but I guess that is unrealistic lmao. The crust was super crispy and held up well under the weight of the tortellini. Very good. I'm looking forward to trying more of their pizza varieties. Ok now onto that other stuff I was talking about. Idk about you, but when I'm planning out my order, I take a long and hard look at the appetizer menu. Right off the bat, this place has FRIED BRUSSELS SPROUTS with your choice of pesto, sweet chile aioli, or balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The ONLY REASON I didn't order this is bc I was going to do pesto so I figured pesto here and on the pizza was overkill. Fortunately, for their salads, they have a brussels sprouts and kale salad with parmesan, almonds, and pizza croutons. I found pizza croutons intriguing and was frankly very curious what that would be. My GF always makes fun of me for ordering a salad from a place like this and always being disappointed bc who the fuck orders a salad from a place that sells mac and cheese on pizza. Fortunately, this was one of the better salads I've ordered. The lemon vinaigrette was extremely refreshing and the ingredients were crisp and fresh. The "pizza croutons" were actually just regular croutons so that was a bit anticlimactic. Additionally, Tina has been craving the fuck out of mac and cheese lately so that was a no-brainer. The pasta shape is cavatappi and it comes topped with melted cheese and bread crumbs. I prefer an excessively saucy m&c and this didn't quite fit that bill. There was some pools of sauce in the container and scooping that up with the little noodles was satisfying but the rest quickly became dry. The m&c is decent here, but not the best in Worcester. Finally, I have difficulty resisting the pull of an order of fries. They offer regular and truffle. I ordered the regular and I must say, some of the best fries I've had in a hot minute. The delivery sog had set in which is to be expected but they were so flavorful on their own, I didn't need to slather them in ketchup or ranch. The tuna was very cold and lacking flavor indicating it may not have been made fresh to order. I like my seared tuna room temp. It was on top of greens with cherry tomatoes croutons and balsamic. There wasn't much going on with this salad, and they forgot the roasted red peppers. Balsamic was very acidic and they do not have soy sauce in house which is surprising. This is definitely one of the more popular pizza places around Worcester! I went on a Tuesday night when they usually have trivia night and top three teams gets prizes, usually Antonio's gift cards. It's a pretty casual place to hang other wise. They have a bar and the TVs usually are turned on to the sports channel. They a mix of individual slices from buffalo chicken to white pizza. Food review: My go to app is usually the truffle French fries, super crispy, pretty greasy though but not that it's saturated but fries look oily when it comes out. Literally can't stop myself from picking at the basket. It's always empty by the time we leave. Got a Hawaiian pizza with jalapeños on it. I love how their pizza isn't too thick but isn't thin like a flat bread pizza, essentially the perfect mix between thick and thin. They also make their pizzas in a brick oven which you can definitely tell the difference since the pizza is more crispy and baked. Nutella pizza - definitely not what I expected, the pizza breading for it was similar to a biscuit but crispier. It wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be, not sure how I felt about the raspberry and Nutella mix, personally I thought it was a weird dessert. Not to my liking. The do offer quite a few choices that youy pick out from their counter. Then they bring it to your table. The pizza is tasty...my only issue is that youy are basically buying reheated pizza... First I'll say this was my 4th trip here for pizza and it is always excellent. Wait staff is always friendly and prompt. Todays visit had a hiccup that left me feeling like the manager needs a lesson in customer service. 3 adults ate for supper 7/2/23. Had Calamari-it was mostly batter with a few very small (dime size) pieces of meat and a few of the peppers. I told the waitress and showed her our platter, so she asked the kitchen help and they said that is how it is (which I doubt it, as it was very unacceptable) she asked if there was anything she could do for us and I said I didn't think we should have to pay for it. When the bill came we were charged for the calamari, so I asked the people at the cash register and they hooked me up with the person in charge (he didn't tell us his title or name) and he said that we ate most of it so we had to pay. I told him we ate the pieces of meat and left the batter which probably amounted to about 3/4 of a cup. He argued with me about it and then conceded to offering to take off 1/2 the price. I said ok because I wasn't going to argue with this guy who obviously didn't know a thing about customer service. You don't argue with a customer over a$12.99 entree that was deemed unacceptable. This location was way more than we expected. They serve alcohol and have an expanded menu and leather seats. It was a nice change while still being very reminiscent of the original.
