Although I hate to leave a 5-star review (it seems so fake) there's no reason for me to knock any stars off. We are very happy with the garage door motor, new track (T-rail), and the custom work they did to fit it in our pre-existing storage shelf. Here's the story: Our neighbor had used Anton's Garage Door to tune up her garage door. She liked it so much she asked for business cards, and dropped one at our front door (since she'd seen us raising and lowering our garage door by hand for years, ever since our original opener motor crapped out on us). Next day I called "Will" (the owner, Waiel Anton) using the number on his card, 619-851-8847. I left a message saying our job might be tough; a big storage shelf had been built around the original T-Rail, so a new one wouldn't just pop in there. I asked if I could text him some pictures. He called back within 20 minutes and said yes I could text the photos. After I text' he called back, saying he thought he could do it, but of course must visit to look in person. We made an appointment for the next day. When he visited he assessed the situation, gave me a price ($625.00 including labor and the new motor). He did explain that he'd had price increases on the motors twice recently, which I understand, it's the blasted government-caused currency inflation. He also said he'd need to do a bit of cutting to access the original pin (bolt) to unscrew it so he could remove the rail. We made the appointment for the following day (moving fast here) and he said he'd send out a guy named Gus, who was even older and more experienced than Will. That night we cleared off a good swath of the storage shelf so the install could occur, which would involve some sawing and removal of a very small portion of the shelf. Next day Gus showed up. He did the installation quietly in the garage, and showed us his work. Well we were amazed because we got a new high-tech motor with just one remote, and access to an app by which we can (should we choose to) control our garage door from our smart phones. Happy happy happy. Recommend recommend recommend. Five stars, since nothing went wrong to remove any stars. read more
