Damien scheduled a repair appointment for me with their technician, Tim to arrive between 2-4pm. Tim never showed up. Damien never called to say Tim wasn't showing up. When I called at 4pm to ask if Tim was still coming, no one answered the phone. I don't think they were totally honest with me which is disappointing especially since we've used them in the past. They've installed and repaired a couple of my garage doors. When I was leaving my garage today, the door wouldn't close, and the opener's light was blinking. I called and the rep knew right away that some object was likely blocking a sensor near the floor. Sure enough, a bag was blocking the sensor. Now here's a company I should have reviewed years ago. All-Pro Quality Garage Doors replaced the motor and springs to our garage door circa 2004. As I remember, the job was done quickly and the price was reasonable. In the last eighteen years I called them twice. Once the garage door would not open and more recently the door was getting stuck half way up when opening. Each time they gave me advice on the phone on how to take care of this myself. I am willing to bet that almost every other company would have said they needed to come out and would have charged me an arm and a leg for a simple fix. All-Pro Quality Garage Doors did not. They even have videos on their website on how to diagnose and in many cases fix the problem yourself. This makes me trust this company. I would not use anyone else. Our almost 15 year old garage door over that past month had started to give us a little trouble. First the remotes stopped working, then the remotes in our cars stopped working. Then the keypad outside the garage stopped working. We had recently only been using the app to open our garage, then this morning, it wouldn't open at all. Even with the main control in the garage. A trusty old yelp search led us to All Pro and we after filling out the quote request online, someone contacted us immediately. After we told them our issues, the tech said he thought it sounded like a motherboard issue, and gave us a reasonable quote. They even gave us the option to buy the motherboard and install it ourselves, which we appreciated, but yeah, that wasn't gonna happen. We scheduled an appointment for later today. Cody arrived right on time. He was courteous and efficient and answered all my questions. He replaced the motherboard, reprogrammed all our remotes, including the ones in the cars, he reprogrammed the keypad outside, oiled all the mechanisms, and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. From start to finish, it took less than an hour. The price was extremely reasonable. He didn't try to upsell me anything or push any extra services that we didn't need. I absolutely appreciate businesses that don't try to cheat or take advantage of their customers. Eventually we'll need to replace our entire door, and when we do, we'll go straight to All Pro. These guys really are "All Pro Quality." This was the second time we've used them to make repairs to our garage door. The first time was over 14 years ago (I don't even remember why). This repair was needed after an accident with the door (shut on my daughter's car - oopsy), and it wouldn't close all the way and then it would go back up. I tried my best to fix it myself after watching many YouTube videos, checking the sensors, adjusting the force screws, etc., but I definitely needed a Pro. I spoke with Mike(?) on the phone, who immediately impressed me with his super nice, professional, and helpful spirit. He said Cody would be the guy he'd send out. Cody arrived on time, didn't try to sell us ANYTHING, and was gone in probably 25 minutes, after perfectly balancing, adjusting and lubing everything! This service would have cost me almost $600 with another company, as my mother used this other company a few years ago (she forgot about All Pro) and they charged her $589 for 20 minutes of greasing and lubing AND tried to scare her into buying a new garage door and opener. I had to all but threaten life and limb of these people to get them to return some of my mom's money. Cody, on the other hand probably should have charged me more than he did! Cody also told me that he has never seen or heard such a sound and problem, so he recorded it on his mobile to show others at the company. After diagnosis, he came up with the conclusion that the circuit board is the issue, so instead of changing the complete engine, he just changed the circuit board and saved me money. While he was at it, he lubed and sprayed all the rails, rods, wheels and parts for both doors, so they operate smoothly and last long. I even bought a can of special spray from him for the future lubing and maintenance. He inspected both doors, reprogrammed the remotes for the single door and once he was pleased with all performances, he wrote the invoice. Their prices are reasonable, their work quality is superb and their honesty is noticeable. I am an obsessive-compulsive perfectionist and if they have passed my tests and taste, then they are surely good enough for you. After easily making an appointment the 2 technicians showed up on time and ready to assess our issues with our 34 year old garage door and springs. After a through inspection of the springs and hardware, taking measurements they determined they had the proper replacement springs on their truck and went about the job of replacing all 4 of them. With permission, they checked out our garage door opener and showed us how the teeth on the drive gear were wearing out after many years of service and were able to replace/upgrade them for what we considered a reasonable price.
