I have lost count of how many times one of their minivans has nearly run me off the road. Today, this jackwagon pulled out in front of me (nobody behind me,) I slammed on my breaks to keep from rear ending him, THEN HE PROCEEDED TO DRIVE WITH HIS BREAKS ON for the next mile until, thankfully, I turned. This ride was the worst experience. The seat was busted. I was litterally sitting on the floor. The driver was driving and acting like a liunatic. She had Red Rum blasting . First and last time I use Anton's. Driver was a no-show and when I called, the manager was disgustingly nasty and rude. He did nothing but argue and told me the driver arrived, then left. However, the time he stated the driver had arrived was almost 15 minutes after I was already outside and I waited 30 minutes. There was no vehicle with the Anton's logo or any transportation logo. I booked a ride online using their website and got a voicemail a few hours later saying they're not open at that time. How is it an option to schedule and confirm booking for a time when you're not even open?! Lol. I called to figure it out and the guy that answered the phone was like "uh yeah we don't open until 7am." I asked him "how can I book a ride on your website for a time you're not open?? They picked up my mom from the hospital and took her home and when my mother got out of the car to unlock the door to her house she told the driver to please dont forget to get my bags and the driver said ok and when she stepped in the house the driver had drove away without gettng her bags and when she called the company and told them what had happened they told her that they would be placed in the lost and found basket and she could come and get them and my mother told them that she had no way of getting them because she was not allowed to drive because of the injury she had that put her in the hospital and that's why they were called to come and take her home and the person that she was talking to said it would cost her 45 dollars to bring her bags back to her....SERIOUSLY!!!!!! WHEN IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE!!!!!!!! My mother is on a fixed income and even if she wasn't i think 45 dollars is absolutely ridiculous. I asked them not to send a cab to pick up my brother with dementia from his nursing home. the man I spoke with was very dismissive telling me that people in nursing homes have rights and if they. call they. will pick them up. He told me to take his phone away then! I tokd him if something happens to my brother they are responsible. he said "No we are not!". He could not say ok what's his name. we will not pick him up. Number one my brother has no money. #2. Anton's just doesn't care, as long as you call they come. #3 they would expose their drivers to a person who has dementia who might behave in a negative way against them. for the almighty dollar! smh. They once were pretty good. Not so much anymore. Asked for a ride at 4PM for 6 - 6:30 pick-up. REALLY needed to get to UPS by 8. No problem. Until I get a call at 7:20 saying they were half an hour away. Umm, no. Thank God I wasn't depending on them to get me to the airport on time. Thing is, NO ONE CALLED ME. I had to call them at 6:45 asking what was going on. Said they were looking for a driver? HUH? So, I waited. Sadly, hard to find a dependable service in Dayton - I've used Anton before with decent results. I always allowed for half an hour "late arrival", but almost 2 hours late is unacceptable, ESPECIALLY since they don't call to warn you. Had I known when THEY knew, I might have gotten there with another service. As it is, an important document didn't get sent, so I'm up the creek. I will know better the next time. read more

They were nice but late and didn't help with our luggage at the airport. I had booked the taxi the day ahead to get the right pick up time, they were 20 minutes late even knowing that we were going to the airport. The driver was super nice after we talked with her. I'm just not thrilled with leaving a tip if you don't help with luggage. read more

Usually when I get a ride to my doctor's appointment through my insurance company, occasionally they will schedule anton's. I dread when they do . Absolutely zero communication , and dispatch is extremely rude. Very disrespectful. She talked over me and then talked down to me when I told her that I couldn't hear her because I was still talking and she still chose to talk over me. She accused me of calling her stupid and hung up on me. Then another young man called back and wanted to straighten it out. So I explained what happened and he told me I was being extremely confrontational and ​. Not really sure what he expected of me because apparently you're supposed to kiss their butt. He actually called me senile and when I asked his name, kept asking me if it was his turn to talk. I asked him again what is your name. And again he said isn't my turn to talk. Very rude and sarcastic. I cannot believe he called me senile. I'm a highly educated and extremely articulate woman. Then he hung up on me . I guess I'll be driving myself . I usually get a shot in my eye once a month. I'll have to be very very slow and careful . The pride and arrogance of these people is epic. Sam was awesome!! Very polite, professional and pleasant conversation. Thank you for getting me home safely during the snow. I had a late shift at work and bc of the snow the roads were slick but not horrible.. after trying for an hour and a half to get an Uber (apparently all their available drivers only wanted to hang out at the airport)... So I called Anton's and was able to get a ride home within a reasonable amount of time. The woman who took my call (i forgot to ask her name) was very friendly and helpful as was my driver who even called me to assure me he was on his way. This was my first time using a taxi service and i was pleasantly surprised that the fare was not as outrageous as i had expected, it was not much more than what i normally pay for an Uber or Lyft for the same ride. They text you updates on your ride and even have an app that you can download and use to request a ride which i think is very convenient and definitely helps them stay competitive with others services like Uber/ Lyft. I will definitely be using Anton's Transportation whenever i need a taxi service!! read more

Was not impressed with Anton's service. Once we experienced a fairly professional driver who was friendly and charged fair. 2nd time riding the driver was rude and seemed to charge an entirely different fare for a comparable same distance trip. The dispatch was rude and favored their lackadaisical driver over the customer. The service is spotty and there is not a clear direction in their service experiencing such vastly different drivers. They don't even have Airport clearance so expect a quick boot off the van before security rushes them. Very ratchet. Would not recommend them. read more

We used this taxi company to get from The Greens to our hotel by the fairfield mall. The rate was very fair and the driver was friendly. From the initial call for pickup to the point of destination, the customer service was excellent! We used a taxi service that was recommended by our hotel to get to The Greene earlier in the day and the driver charged us twice as much for the same distance, wanted us to pre-pay in order to secure a ride home, and when we questioned this method he was very rude. Scheduled a very early (4am) pickup from Beavercreek to Dayton airport. Driver showed up right on time, smooth ride.

The driver claimed to have no change, and I tipped what was on my person out of continuity. I'll never use Anton's again.

This is the most unreliable cab I have ever heard of. We called at 4 am for our flight that leaves at 6. He said he would be here in half and hour and after an hour went by he still wasn't here and we ended up having to take an uber just to make it on time. Horrible service , if you know you can't be there at a certain time just say you can't do it. Plus uber is way cheaper DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! read more

Dispatch that took the call was sarcastic and rude. Driver drove too slowly during trip and I was charged 23 dollars for a 7 mile trip that usually charges 16 dollars. Have had similar problems in the past with Anton's even when reserving a trip ahead of time, and they were an hour late from the reserved time.
