My need for going to Will is cancer related for since my chemo treatments it has left me with extreme pain and dysautomia, full body neuropathy, so nerve pain in the entire body and my automatic system no longer works properly heart rate, blood pressure, etc. Due to this illness, and still having cancer, I had to have my hair cut really short because the weight of the hair and even lying my head on the pillow caused me much pain. I had tried to get my hair as short as I needed to be, but without looking unfeminine. However, the people I had gone to twice before Will, would not cut my hair in that short of a pixie, I think because my hair was pretty long before they did cut it in a rather long pixie-bob look, but still too much pain for me. I told Will what I wanted and he went straight to it. Will gave me the perfect haircut for my needs, though I do hope one day to be able to go longer again. That being said both the vintage style look , and appeal of Will's shop along with his two dogs, made an extremely difficult choice more bearable. The shop had a very nice, comfortable vibe, you feel totally at home while you're there, and Will is so easy to speak with. It turns out that my family had done business with Will's family when both of us were very young and it was wonderful being able to talk to him about those days when we used to visit WAUCONDA. The fact that Will could understand where I was coming from in my cancer issue , I don't feel it my place to say why, but he knows very well, the problems related with cancer.. thank you Will, for your kindness and dedication to your job regardless of who comes to your shop.
