At a different location on 8877 Harry Hines Blvd. Dallas,Texas 75245 The Lab Technician advised me she could only do one of the LAB ORDERS but You are WELCOME to take BOTH to one of Our other locations and she took forever to come and check on those of us that had signed in. But they locked the doors and would not let anyone into the waiting room. When I knocked on the door to ask what was happening and when they thought the system might be back up, an employee who answered the door was absolutely rude. When people go for medical testing, it's not a happy situation generally. These employees show no understanding or compassion. That reflects poorly on the company that hired them.

Quite possibly the worst customer service and health care experience I've ever had. I checked in…read moreonline 10 minutes before appointment and waited 20 minutes after scheduled time. Okay, no problem. They take measurements and then I ask if there will be a urine sample? They check the computer and say no, so I use the restroom. They then are about to begin bloodwork and say there actually is a urine sample so they can't finish assessment. I'm not someone that can pee without fluids and on the spot. They kick me out while I go find water (they don't have any) and then when I return promptly I have to wait and rudely was told to go to the bottom of queue (over an hour goes by and I'm constantly passed by names below me as they just stare at me with no estimated time) so I just end up leaving. Very incompetent workers. The worst part was the worker blamed me for cancellation when they messed up and I was truly being polite. I get mistakes happen, but the service and treatment was horrendous! Management should look into these employees.

Behind is a TV mounted on the wall talking up how great Quest Diagnostic services is to you, the customer. Signing in was somewhat easy as it finally recognized me and began populating some of the data fields to check over. I grab a seat and in a couple of moments I was welcomed by a very comforting friendly lady who seemed to have been a life long friend! Around the corner we did the vital checks and she quickly and painlessly took blood. Off I went. Simple, easy and out the door.

Even the ones that said they were open on Saturday's actually weren't even open, or I couldn't even get anyone to answer the phone at the labs! This was very frustrating because my son needs this bloodwork done asap, as he was just released from a 2 week stay at the hospital with renal failure. Miya was such a blessing and a true lifesaver, driving to my son's apartment and doing his bloodwork there. Plus, she actually answered the phone and I was able to speak to her personally. When I've needed outpatient imaging I now request only the Southwest Diagnostic Imaging Center…read more(SWDIC) in Dallas. I've been their patient for decades, the first reason I recommend them. I've seen many freestanding radiology practices disappear, along with my reports and images, many of which would be valuable for comparison if only they were available. My first tip: Stick with a company with proven longevity, such as SWDIC. My second tip: Get all of your outpatient imaging done at the same place so that you will know how to quickly find what a provider may want to see some day. SWDIC does every procedure I can think of. My next tip: if you have special needs, go to an imaging center where the staff and their accomodations can meet your needs easily. Two examples: at SWDIC, I always had the best of care from Cindy, the same mammography tech year after year, despite my limitations from MS. And I know of no other place you can have an MRI if you can't just get up and walk away from your power wheelchair (Don't I wish!) and walk the long distance to the MRI table. Uh, there's a good reason that I must use a power wheelchair, and only SWDIC has an MRI with a detachable exam table that can be brought to the patient who can't trek to an attached exam table! I thank God for the foresight of SWDIC clinical and executive staff for providing this invaluable tool! Never have I ever met a SWIC staff member, from schedulers to the front desk, to the professional staff who was not both professional and kind, and personal if the interaction was long enough. You may well leave with your images and reports in hand; just ask, if that will be helpful. And don't get away without a parking voucher, although I've always been given one before I could ask.
