This is Urgent Care, not a McDonalds Drive Through) - "Front desk being slow & rude to people." This one is my favorite, so tell me this Karen's and Ken's of Yelp: you walk in, you fill out this 2 page sheet with your information, they get a copy of your ID, your insurance, they contact your insurance, wait to get called on. What people don't realize is that there's 10 people in the same room as them THAT HAD TO FILL OUT THE SAME FORM AS THEM & one person doing the job. Front desk, you guys kill it - "Doctor said this, Doctor said that".... No. Doctor most likely provided enough information with the information he was provided. Ask questions. This isn't high school where you think asking questions will make you look stupid in front of your peers, this is your health & well-being. Unless if you want that to look stupid too then idk what to tell ya, maybe you're missing brain cells. - My personal experience: I registered online, booked an appointment online, I asked my questions that I wanted to ask prior to coming in, I came in, filled out the form, waited patiently alongside with 10 other people in the room, got my temp/blood pressure/etc check, spoke to the doctor in full detail with what was going on, got Covid checked, prescribed me medicine, done. I'm 29 years old, if you see anyone looking older than 29 yelling at the front desk, tell them to sit down & not embarrass themselves. The front desk is absolutely horrible, poor customer service and bad attitudes. The lady who gave me a TB skin test had no idea what she was doing. She put a tunicate on my arm, then put the needle straight into my arm, and the the bevel of the needle was side ways meaning she injected tuberculin into the side of my arm, no wheel appeared. I told her that she was doing the test incorrectly and she said her teacher trained her to do it this way! read more

I gave them another try after years ago having the same bait and switch billing practices . Seems the are at it again Went in for a Covid pcr and was told it was no cost and part of govt program. Now get bill for $260. Help desk states the program ended and front desk should not be responsible to know that. Also had same test done less than a year ago and it was $150.If I had Known the cost, I would have gone elsewhere . Beware of the clinic group billing practices. It's a huge ripoff read more

BEWARE OF SCAMS, DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS TO THIS LOCATION, THEY SCAM PEOPLE..., very unprofessional, not helpful, awful customer service... The supposedly "Doctor" in charge on 7/7/23 slammed the door at me and said, "I am not going to argue with you", she did not listen to my problem; I was not even arguing. The Dr had a "shitty" attitude. I never complain, however, this is totally unacceptable; especially when it has to do with our health. I had proof/medical bill that I was showing to the supposedly Dr. in charge and she was still denying that I took my son that day. "I just could not believe it".... DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN NOR FAMILY MEMBERS TO THIS LOCATION!! I took my son on April 2023 to get a medical test done, I never received the results and got stuck with a medical bill of $585.00 dollars when the front lady/employee revised my medical insurance and said that all was ok and they accepted my insurance. I keep on waiting on the medical results and now they claim that I never took my son to that location, that they do not have any results; they were highly unprofessional, not courteous, and the medical results continue to be a "ghost". Not impressed with this location. Waited over 3 hours with a pounding headache only to be given a prescription for Tylenol with codeine which I already have at home and was informed that they don't have toradol in stock. They called me when I checked in at another location and told me there was no wait. . Had to check in at another location and waited another 2 hours with a pounding migraine. The only good thing that came of this was the dr had already ordered the injection so I didn't have to pay my copay twice and I didn't have to see another Dr. That's the reason I gave 3 stars. read more

Arrived at Care Now around 615 on a Sunday evening and we were out the door around 8 pm. Lady at the front desk was very nice and seemed to care about her job. I asked her why they were one of the few locations staying open until 8 pm and she said it was because of flu season but 3/12 will be the last Sunday they stay late. Location was clean and quiet, very surprised due to the location. Doctor was nice and attentive. Will definitely recommend visiting again if my normal place to go is not open or too full. read more

If I could give 0 I would. The first time I came in the woman at the front counter was so incredibly rude on multiple occasions and did not submit my insurance (I'm fairly certain on purpose) so I had to take multiple additional steps after receiving an astronomical bill. Second time, I figured I'd give them another chance given the proximity to our home. I waited until I received the call to come in was seen by a nurse and then a doctor 1 hour and 22 minutes later. Another patient was vocalizing their disappointment very loudly and for a good reason. The doctor was so unbelievably unprofessional he told me he didn't believe I had chest pain...I'm sorry I didn't know that's how this worked? Totally unrelated but I have to mention he farted not once but twice during checking me out. Those disgusting slow wet farts, I couldn't believe what I heard until he finally said ooops. I don't normally associate clinics with particularly positive experiences, but I was pleasant surprised with this location, especially during COVID. The online appointment system was straightforward and eliminated all wait time at the clinic. I was seen quickly. The doctor answered all of my questions and had a great bedside manner (I don't remember his last name, but his first name was Brain- he was great!). My prescriptions were sent immediately and there were no hiccups. If I'm going to go to a CareNow in the Dallas area, it's going to be here. read more

I went in for Covid testing and was pleasantly surprised at the experience. I waited from the comfort of my home (it took a while - checked in at 10am and got called at 5pm, but it's desperate times). I expected it to hurt, it tickled a little but no pain at all. I expected them to treat me like I had the plague, but they were caring and super friendly. They take sanitizing seriously (even have a bucket for used pens to be sanitized). A doctor performed the test -- he was gentle and kind, and answered my questions. If you need to be tested for covid and have health insurance I highly recommend this option. Or even if you just need to go to the doctor. read more

I came with a friend for him to have a drug test for work. There were only a few people when we came . We had to wait for about half an hour and then talked to the front desk lady and she said that she could not find the email of our drug test request which we gave to her. So she sent us to go bring the print and we had to drive about 20 minutes and brought the paper. And then again we were asked to wait another line. In total it took us about 2hrs to just give a urine sample. The tip of the ice is the front desk lady was very rude when I asked her if her printer was not working. She replied "did you ask him before asking me this". I would hate it if anyone else had to receive such a poor treatment like the one we received. read more

Last night, I needed immediate care, so I contacted this clinic for the first time. I utilized their web check-in, which was incredibly easy. I was sent my patient paperwork to fill out and was told that I would receive a call when it was time to come to the clinic. In less than 10 minutes, I received a call from their patient care specialist, Carol, who was so kind and helpful. I was told I could head to the clinic. Upon arrival, Carol greeted me warmly and gave me a couple of short forms to fill out. I was taken back to the exam room within 5 minutes of arrival by a very kind nurse who took my vitals and asked me about my symptoms. She was very quick, kind, and knowledgeable. I waited in the exam room for only a few minutes before Dr. Alberico came into the room. He completed a brief but thorough history before a physical exam. He asked excellent questions and had a very calm demeanor that put me at ease. He was relaxed and took his time to explain what was happening to me and gave clear instructions. I was given written instructions and a prescription was sent electronically to my pharmacy. I quickly paid and was done. I cannot stress enough how helpful and kind the staff here were. I was very worried upon arrival about my condition but was immediately put at ease that I was in capable hands. They were empathetic and calm but worked quickly to take care of me. Everyone was incredibly knowledgeable. The clinic was very clean and comfortable. I've never felt so calm in a doctor's office. Thank you to all I met at the clinic for your timely, compassionate care. If I need urgent care in the future, I will book an appointment at this clinic without hesitation. read more

I believe all things happen for a reason. Well, I sliced my finger open with a bread knife. No good reason for that to happen, right? I didn't think so, either. But I decided to go to CareNow Abrams to have a doctor check it out late Saturday night. First of all, the entire staff there was so friendly and welcoming, from my initial interaction with the guy on the phone to the last nurse who bandaged my finger up. And again... Saturday night. You know they had better places to be. Anyway. There is so much ignorance and unnecessary fear in our country right now. If everyone could meet someone like the doctor who assisted me last night-Dr. Farhat Shaikh-there would be a lot less fear in our country. We had a great conversation and she was one of the best medical doctors I've ever seen. It's people like her who give me hope for our country. Terrible service especially during a pandemic. A simple COVID test took multiple hours wait and I came when they opened. When I questioned them about it they went off on me about how I didn't check in before I got here. I can understand that but then another nurse told me I could've checked in online while in the office to at least know how long the wait would be WHICH THEY DID NOT TELL ME. Turns out they even waited a hour before they even put in my information! I had my ids and insurance and waited a hour to even be put on a list to be seen! Totally unacceptable! This is my second time to go here, and each time has been a pleasant experience (well, as pleasant as it ca be when you are sick). The place is very clean, efficient , and the staff is very pleasant. The have online check in, but, both times I went I just walked in, and there was only one person ahead of me, so hardly any wait time. I had a great experience at this Care Now location. I checked in online at around 7:30pm after work. They called me about 5 minutes later to let me know they were ready for me. I got there at around 8pm and signed a bunch of required medical stuff. After that I took a seat, in about 10 minutes they called me up to get serviced. Really nice doctor and staff. I got there maybe 30 minutes before they closed and they saw me quickly, without any problems. I had a bleeding wound so they patched me up and sent me home feeling much better. They'll stay late to help you as long as you are in the waiting room before closing. read more

I always do the web check-in. I like to wait in the comfort of my own home and they call me when they're ready for me. Im usually in and out within an hour. The facility is new and very clean. I love Dr. Hernandez, he is very upfront and honest. He's thorough, upbeat, nice and knowledgeable. I tend to be very indecisive about treatment options but he always makes it so easy for me. Love his ability to simplify everything and give me what is truly needed and not a bunch tests/prescriptions that you dont need. I visited here for the first time last weekend. The sense of care and urgency in what they were doing was completely amazing. I have never felt so taken care of at an urgent care center in my life. Cold or Flu? I called in the afternoon on a weekday to find out how long the wait would be and asked about on-line check-in. I used it and was called back shortly at home and told to come on in. The staff was quick to greet and assist and was very polite and professional. I was seen within 10 minutes and staff was great. The doctor came in and confirmed the test results and answered my additional questions. The checkout was quick and easy - just paying my insurance copay. I also received a follow-up call a couple of days later to make sure I was okay, pleased with the service, and thanked me for choosing them. I been to several different care now facilities and I'm here to tell you that the service sucks at every one. It's not about wait times, it's about how you treat people during this pandemic or in general. If you got rude ass help, what makes you think describing their job duties is gonna make us feel better about it. Every hard working American has a job to do, no matter how difficult the job, it don't excuse horrible attitudes, and poor service. I understand that those type of employees are cheap labor, but leave them at McDonalds where they belong, you guys run a urgent care, these are people, human beings in need of help, we deserve better. We may come to you for help, but we pay damn good money for it, not to mention the money you guys get from Insurance. Take the initiative to make your location better, coming here and posting your own review to boost your locations reviews is not the way, and only shows us how desperate you truly are. I initially called to see if there was an online portal or a way for me to check in online before coming into the CareNow, since I'm sick and did not want to be there any longer than needed. The man who answered the phone told me that there is no way for me to reserve a spot, and they ONLY accept walk ins. I walk in, and come to find out that the lady who comes in after me gets to go ahead of me because they do have an online portal. In addition to that, the man checking people in at the front is not the friendliest and until I caught an attitude back with him, he was very rude. It is good to know that I have quality medical help like CareNow available to me. My family doctor is good, but it's hard to get an appointment on short notice. I had a skin infection that was crying for attention. So I decided to give CareNow a try and I'm glad I did! Very efficient and professional staff. Dr. Hernandez explained my problem in clear easy-to-understand terms and wrote me a prescription that took care of the infection. I have visited CareNow three times in the last 18-months or so and they have earned 5 stars with each visit. The location is consistently clean and inviting, the staff welcoming and professional and my concerns addressed thoroughly and completely without ever being rushed. On my last visit (the day after Christmas) when I checked in I was told there was about a 2.5 hour wait but that wasn't a problem, I simply went home and received a call when it was time for me to be seen. Upon returning, the wait to was minimal, I was seen by the doctor quickly and check-out was fast and efficient. I will use CareNow again if the need arises and recommend it to anybody that needs care. They are definitely an asset to the area, so glad they're here. read more

Great facility with a lot of personality. I brought my dad in to be seen and i was so please with how fast they got my father seen. The front desk lady Ms. Granesia was so respectful and knowledgeable about everything and was quick to answer all of our questions. She also offered us their discount program(we declined).
