Forget the sterile silence of typical libraries; here, a gentle hum of quiet conversation mingled with the soft rustle of turning pages, creating a wonderfully welcoming ambiance, people happy and living. What truly sets Anythink Library on Huron apart is its undeniable charm. The layout is thoughtfully designed, with comfortable seating nestled amongst the building encouraging patrons to linger and explore. The decor,(I love the trees) a delightful mix of nature, typical shelving , playful furniture, and engaging interactive stations to keep you entertained if you need also adds a touch of personality and makes the space feel truly lived-in and loved. Beyond the aesthetics, Anythink Library on Huron is undeniably entertaining. (As stated) The curated selection of books and media is diverse and engaging, with hidden gems waiting to be discovered. I was particularly impressed by the large tree fixtures you can go it by the children's area and the wide variety of interactive technology available. Most importantly, the staff at Anythink Library on Huron are incredibly welcoming. They are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely passionate about helping patrons find their next great read, resource, answer any questions or help you sign up for a library card (highly recommend!). Is this a library or a playground?. I realize not everyone is there to read or study, but why is every voice an outside voice? Lots of screaming children running around like it's an outdoor sporting event. It's possible to have a space for kids while also being respectful of the academic environment. Super frustrating :/ read more

They turn off lights 15 minutes before it closes and keep turning them off and on like every 5 minutes and I just find that rude. They close at 7 and I make sure I leave before 7 pm. read more

This library is absolutely killing it. They offer a crazy amount of services- you can check out a laptop to take home if you need to, use computers, they have a crazy collection of books and dvds. If you're an academic in college or high school, they have access to databases for study, or you can even take classes online for continuing education credit. They have a ton of free summer programs for kids as well. Everyone is always friendly and excited to help you discover more about what they offer. read more

I love this library! It's huge and the selection of physical, audio and kindle books is amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful. This is a great spot to study (without having to buy anything) or kill time. You can also get free Rosetta Stone and Lynda classes with a membership - amazing!! read more

This library is so small, not a very good selection of books. Stephen King - maybe 5 titles, Dean Kootz the same, James Patterson the same. I could go on. Very disappointed. I'll continue to go to a real library like College Hill. read more

Because they closed at 3 today due to cold weather they decided to kick all the middle and high school kids out at 3 in the freezing cold weather. Around 2:50 I called to make sure my brother would have a warm space to stay in until I got there and they assured me that he would. When I got there around 3:15 to pick him up and saw him and a bunch of other kids outside, in the cold. My brother then told me that they were not letting anybody stay there for past 3, so he had to wait outside. Nothing bad on the library itself but their workers are selfish and inhumane. read more

This is one of the best libraries in the Denver area. I have been a member of the Denver, Westminster, Arapahoe County, and Douglas County, and Anythink libraries, and the Huron street branch is one of the top three libraries. Great staff, continuous innovation, and it's well maintained and kept updated. Not all Anythink libraries are great but this one is. read more

In a world/time when so many things have gone from physical media to electronic and online media, it seriously thrills me to see libraries are still going strong and are as popular as ever. I recently visited this branch to set up a library card-you are able to register for one online with limited access, and just need to visit any Anything branch with a photo ID to get your actual card. One of my favorite parts about getting a card was that they give you goth a traditional card and a key chain sized card, which makes it more convenient in my eyes. The women who helped me set up my card was incredibly friendly and helpful, as was the other gentlemen working there in solving an issue where my card wasn't working at the self service check out stand. I saw them be equally friendly and helpful to other folks with questions, so the service is fantastic. The building itself seems pretty new and is very cool, inside and out. There are some large "trees" separating the kids section from the main section, and the whole place is very naturally lit and bright. Their books are organized like a book store and don't rely on the dewey decimal system, so it's really easy to find what you need. As always, they have computers if you need help finding exactly what you need. They have everything from fiction to cooking books and even magazines, plus DVDs and CDs. Their renting system for discs is very useful and interesting-after choosing your movie or CD, you scan the case and a machine that's almost like a big red box spits out the disc. They even have cleaner and cloths to clean discs if they look a little scuffed up! When I was here mid-day on a Friday, it was pretty humming. Lots of folks using the computers, families with kids going to get books...it was great. I could tell that the services and the level of service this branch provides are excellent. I'm so happy to have such a great library near me and I will be using it all the time now! read more

This is my favorite library to come do homework and study. I first found this library after getting hired as a behavioral therapist nearby. I spent a lot of time studying to take my RBT exam here, and had such a good experience that I continue to come as often as I can. The staff is friendly and helpful; they make sure children who are a little too loud and rowdy, in the quiet section of the library, are more mindful of other visitors and following the rules. read more

Quaint, quiet, and laid out well. I especially like that they don't charge to have a library card, and the librarians are cheerful. I also really like the name and logo; simple and cute. I could spend all day here since it's close to my house. read more
