Like the other reviews on this site I highly recommend you stay away from Josh Swanson and Anytime Blinds. I paid up front with a credit card and Josh started my job but didn't complete it. After that he would not return phone calls and I had to get the credit card company to intervine by threatening to reverse his payment. Later, when I had a problem with one of the Norman blinds with a lifetime warranty I could not get him to provide the warranty service. He lies, he will not return calls, and he's full of excuses for his behavior (I've been ill; there was a death in my family, etc.). Now I see he's running a faith-based initiative called "Restoration Ranch" for youths and young adults. Not exactly the role model I would want for young people. read more

I wish I saw the negative reviews before working with Josh. In the beginning, he was super responsive to texts and messages. I waited 12 weeks before reaching out to Josh because he told me that it will take 8-10 weeks for him to receive the shipment. Similar to other 1 star reviews, calls went to a full voicemail. He responded to my text once and told me that the blinds are delayed and he would provide a new ETA. After that one text, the rest of my texts and emails were left unanswered. I emailed him using his business account and even sent new inquiries on his business website. He took my money in mid-September and it is now mid-January. I get it, delays happen, but at least have the decency to respond to your customers and provide updates. Very unprofessional. Currently disputing this charge with my credit card company. read more

More like minus 5 starz. I purchased a set of blinds for 370$ in 2019. I Broke a slat in Feb 2023. I offered to pay for it, but was told it was still under warranty by the rep josh. A tech came to my house to look at a single panel slat that I had broken (there are 26 panels all together) I was charged an $85 trip fee for him coming out to look at the piece. Which the tech took with him. Almost a month later on 3/13/23 I had heard nothing back so I called left a message both with Josh as well as anytime blinds. I heard nothing back. I called and LM again on 3/21/23. Nothing. On 3/23/23 I Called a 3rd time. Josh called me back apologized stated the tech who had been to my house had walked off the job and he had been on vacation. He was very preoccupied and distracted during the call stated he needed to call me right back. He didn't. I made call number 4 on 3/24/23 left a message. No response. Call #5 on 3/28/23, left another message. He called me back stating he had found out they couldn't replace just one slat so he had to order 26 new slats. And that they would be in in two weeks. That would be 4/11/23. I had not heard anything by thursday 5/4/23 so I called back again. Josh answered stated he was on his way to a funeral and would call me back in 24 hours. He did not. I decided to give grace and not contact him till Monday due to death in his family. By Thursday I still hadn't heard back. I ended up calling both his # and the anytimeblinds number. No response. So here we are. Do not under any circumstance give your money to this company. READ THE REVIEWS AND GO WITH A LOCAL COMPANY NOT WITH ONE FROM AN HOUR AWAY WHO WILL CHARGE FOR EVERYTRIP, NOT HONOR THE WARRENTY AND AVOID THE CUSTOMER especially when they have been overly patient. Anytime Blinds and Shutters - One broken slat needing replacing and I've been waiting since February??? - Shades & Blinds Near Me - Clayton, North Carolina

I have been waiting on a shade to come back from repair since July 2023. it is now November and I finally get a call to install my shade. Apparently it was ready in September, it just got forgotten even though I inquired many times for the status of It. I am now waiting for the installer, who was to be here between 9-10am, it is now 11:30 am and no installer or courtesy call to say he is running late. This for me is bad business practice. Communication is key and this company needs to learn that. read more

Was excited to use Anytime Blinds and Shutters since I had a friend have an excellent experience and Josh Swanson (the owner) and I grew up in the same town. I ordered the blinds in September 2021. When I ordered I was asked, by Mr. Swanson, to pay in full because it "is easier." Being a trusting person I obliged and paid $2500 for six blinds that were to be delivered in three weeks. No updates were provided and, eventually, after multiple attempts at communication, two blinds were delivered after about six weeks. The installer, Aaron, arrived and had no record of other blinds. Long story short, for well over two months I have been trying to contact Mr. Swanson. On the few occasions that he has responded, he has given me a plethora of excuses, no blinds and no refund. I am a very understanding and patient customer and gave Mr. Swanson's company the benefit of the doubt, but I've learned a hard lesson. Most recently, on December 10, 2021, Mr. Swanson texted me to say that he had requested a "refund with my merchant company..." - of course I've not received the refund, nor any communication (despite attempts) from Mr. Swanson. Steer clear of this charismatic man who will take your money. read more

Owner Josh Swanson took our money and has not installed our blinds. Apparently, I'm not the first he has done this too. We have used him twice before without issue. This third round, he is not reachable by text, phone, or email. Do not use this service. He charged 100% upfront and does not respond to customer calls, texts, or emails about their order. read more

Beware - customer Paid $ 3,978.26 on March 15, 2021 for plantation shutters with promised installation date of approximately 6-8 weeks. As of July 22, 2021 (19 weeks later), company refuses to return calls and emails, no products delivered. read more
