PROS: * The biggest PRO so far was that THEY LISTEN: the moment I asked/suggested their manager, Alex, something about their sauna, they instantly took care of it, and he is always very friendly and always listens, and the rest of staff is always courteous and friendly. ATTENTION AND CARE IS A HUGE PLUS! * Very affordable. Many gyms are 2x, 3x, or more expensive but offer same or less and worse. * Spacious/roomy, and good equipment and free weights variety, esp. for the price. EQUIPMENT VARIETY IS A BIG PLUS. * Constant cleaning (a man and/or a lady is always vacuuming, mopping, and wiping floors and other surfaces). * Pool, sauna, and jacuzzi/whirlpool. * Drinking water/fountain is always cold, which is good. * Variety of classes, large aerobics, spinning, etc. rooms. CONS: * Many members are on their cell phones while using exercise equipment/machines, and many don't get off machines (while on the phones), but you can always find your way around that. * No paper towels. They would come handy, but it's no big deal, and I can deal with that and bring my own, esp. for their low membership price. * Only 3 pool lanes,.. but, again, it is what it is, and many gyms have no pool at all for higher price. Today just me and my 2 year old arrived to play basketball for a bit. I brought both of our membership cards in and left my purse in the car because of previous theft in the facility. I ask for a ball . Provide MARY my card, my daughter's card. She says she needs my drivers license. I tell her it's in the car because I don't want to bring my purse back in, we often get a ball for my daughters FATHER with my membership card because he never carry's any ID. She tells me no I need to take my 2 year old back in 20 degree weather. I am at a point where I would just rather cancel my membership than go through weird interactions like this one. Especially with the severity of the weather and just trying to get out and be active. The gold membership has provided no level of customer service or convenience. Will be canceling and telling my friends to sign up for bears fit or planet fitness that are both close to the area. Do not waste your time or money.

Don't know how to explain it, but you can walk into this gym in the worst mood possible, and you will walk out with a sweaty, shaky smile every. single. time. This gym will make you look forward to every workout (even the ones that include 500 million burpees). Desiree, Ashley, Nathan and the entire crew will get your heart rate up, that sweat dripping, and will safely push your limits even when you think your legs cannot hold you up any longer. GCP offers group classes with various timed stations with the perk of having a trainer to help guide you to ensure that you are using the proper form (super important for those of us who are athletically challenged). GCP has also expanded to include nutritional supplements that you can purchase onsite to add to their nutrition guides. I also like the fun (hard) little (big) challenges that you can choose to signup for throughout the year. Game Changing Performance is definitely unique to the area and unless you actively try to fail, you WILL see results.
