I had been in and out of the hospital for couple of months now. We told them this over and over. They are now threatening us with collections over a service we can't fucking use. We are not coming back to this gym we will go another one that doesn't threaten for their money. While we have our own problems. Even though they said they will pause the payment if it was a medical reason. We told them what is happening and now we are getting threats. Sorry the gym is not that fucking important to keep paying for a service we can't use. What is important is my heath getting better which has not cause the stress they are causing us. This gym will tell you it's a month to month commitment and you can cancel anytime but then refuse to let you cancel even when you have notes from a neurologist due to a concussion. The manager said the note from the neurologist wouldn't work and he felt like my son was still able to come to his personal training sessions. Apparently he thinks he has his MD or something. Lol, Beware! Also, machines are always full, people standing around waiting, and one trainer is very arrogant and rude. I've been a member of Anytime in Marble Falls since about October 2020. It's a great gym - the manager, training manager, personal trainers are all very nice and helpful and recognize you. The facility is clean, and it has everything you need. I started personal trainer sessions and enjoyed them, but due to a change in health circumstances I needed to end that service for a while. The team did their best to accommodate me, and even though I didn't continue the personal training, Travis (the trainer manager) has been great continuing to be supportive of my personal goals. I use the Anytime App to guide my workouts, and Travis was helpful identifying a good program for me to follow. Blake is always friendly and interested in my experience of the facility, always a friendly face. read more

The gym is clean and provides a good workout. However, there is room for improvement. Kids often in the gym on weekends and nights where children are not allowed. The ceiling fans on full blast and can not be adjusted. The manager often chooses to vacuum the floor in the middle of the day as opposed to off hours. read more

BUYER BEWARE: Be careful if you sign a contract. Your contract may end but your automatic payments do not. Are you ready for this? They require a 30 day cancellation or your PAYMENTS CONTINUE FOREVER even when your contract expires. Yep. I kid you not. They'll tell you it's in the fine print. But what kind of business puts that in the fine print? Of course you assume once your contract expires you won't have anymore payments. Annnnd, they are banking (literally) on you assuming that. Furthermore, after this bad experience I checked around online and found lots of people complaining that even after you cancel in writing, Anytime Fitness continues to bill you. So I went thru the hassle of closing my credit card and getting a new one issued, rather than take a chance. Bad customer experience. My husband used to attend this gym, he could not sign his own name due to a medical condition, so I signed his name for him, now his disease has progressed and he has been bed bound for over a year now and the gym is refusing to cancel his membership because his signature is required. THEY NEVER GOT HIS SIGNATURE TO START THE AGREEMENT, SO WHY DO THEY NEED IT SO BADLY NOW??? So, every month, they continue to deduct their fee's knowing he is bedbound and never signed anything, and can't sign anything. This is so unfair to him and me. read more

Anytime is a great gym if you need to workout at odd hours of the day or holidays, but that is about where the benefits end. The equipment is pretty basic. The cardio equipment is run down and most of the TV's don't work or have audio issues. The manager lets a homeless man use the shower at the gym in exchange for handing out marketing material or doing odd jobs. If he is drunk or on drugs when he is there he rambles about other races and you can see members cut their workout short. When I discussed safety concerns with the manager I was told he had been getting complaints about him, but he was harmless and he'd talk to him about the rambling. Can you guarantee that? I just really think the membership is overpriced for what you get and the staff isn't the friendliest. I love working out at odd hours, but I won't be renewing my membership. read more

Shady Gym! If you want to call it that... Management has not upgraded the weights nor the cardio equipment since the facility opened. Honestly, things are falling apart and it is embarrassing that they refuse to upkeep the place even when approached by members. The price is not comparable to the amenities. They know nothing about the fitness industry and it is a shame because people in this small town actually trust the word of an out of shape "manager" (Garret) who has no fitness experience. I was working out on the cardio machines the other day and he was eating SONIC. The smell made me want to vomit and i canceled my membership at the end of the billing cycle and refuse to ever visit any other Anytime Fitness ever again due to the way they run their 'shade-tree' operation. Let me get down to it... I have visited this gym on and off since Paul Greenberg was the first franchisee and owner. Gym was brand new and great! However he built up a few other anytime fitness centers around neighboring towns and quickly sold. Not his fault for having business sense. I must say that during his ownership the gym was always promising new equipment but never delivered. In steps owner number 2... Gym was more than 3 years old at this point and I believe they realized they bought into a sinking ship. During that time when in town I would notice myself signing up because this is the only game in town as far as 24hr gyms go. Anyhow, the 3rd owner has stepped in and WOW!!! (Let me keep this to the point) The weights (dumbbells) are literally falling apart. The manager tries to glue the rubber pieces back on but they always fall off making the weights not true to their counterpart. Not his fault because he doesn't own the place nor write the checks. What is his fault is that he is meek and all of the young kids in the place never ever ever re rack their weights and the place is messy and some days down right dirty! All of the equipment is dated, definitely been through heavy usage and needs replaced. The entire gym needs a makeover! What else? Oh, the gym fees are comical. They know what they can get away with. They charge their annual members a once a yearl 30 dollar fee atop monthly fees for gym upgrades. Are you serious!!!! There is a hospital almost up and running in this town and the demographics will completely change within the year. Will someone with a passion for the fitness industry please come in and start another 24 hour gym. I guarantee that everyone at anytime will jump ship due to the simple fact that this place has become a barn with dead weight. The people don't care at all either. I am not a rude person by any means but none of the trainers look like trainers! Not one of them could run a tough mudder or a muddy buddy that is for sure! If you were at any random event and said to someone 'this is my trainer', they would say 'seriously'? This incident happened yesterday afternoon... An older trainer walks in with lunch. First off, never eat in the gym! Second, his lunch was McDonalds!!!!!!!!!!!! I was working out and smelled grease and wanted to vomit! He didn't go into the office at first. Just sat in the front eating until one of the other trainers said to take it in the office. That did not matter because he was walking around chewing his grease burger and drinking his milkshake. I overheard the trainers say 'how can we get more people to come join the gym'? I was disgusted. They are not passionate about fitness. If you are not passionate how can you take peoples hard earned money and lie to them about diet and fitness tips. I only utilize this place sparingly and only when i am in town for the year but it has become a pit. I'd rather travel 60 miles round trip to the Gold's Gym in Bee Caves just to be in a professional atmosphere of trainers. Moral of the story is that 'Do not join this gym'!
