This has become my new favorite place. I tried out the free week for to see how I like the establish, what type of equipment they have and what classes were offered and I knew after the second day this gym was home for me! I've tried a couple of places recently but AF just had the whole package in regards to what I wanted out of a gym/fitness place. So this worked great for me. Went to this Anytime Fitness while visiting family in Brandon area. What a great great gym. So well managed and the variety of equipment was outstanding. Allie (so?) was so kind and helpful. This location is awesome management is super friendly not overbearing. The place is immaculate the machines are always working plenty of them very spacious. Lighting is great music is upbeat you can even customize songs if you choose something. They've got group fitness class' in a huge studio. The changing areas, cubbies, working showers and bathrooms all clean. Plenty of space,plenty of machine options, and whenever I'm in the area I always try and stop in here. This should be the training center for all anytime fitness' in Tampa Bay. I know they are franchised and that's why you get such a random results with quality, and customer service. Where do I begin. I felt immediately comfortable with The coolest, talkative person ever:RaVonne, the facility was beautiful, and not so many people. I have been to plenty of gyms and always heard bad things about anytime fitness "but", I now realize all of those comments were wrong. I love the app for Myzone! Excited for this new journey. People come into your life for a reason and today was one of those days. :) "life is driven by "decisions." Don't allow yourselves to sit and keep deciding if you will come into this gym. Nice and Clean! I do wish the bathrooms had toilet seat covers but in all this gym is pretty nice! Been going for a month now and Its never been crowded like a regular gym. You can go at anytime you'd like and never seen more than maybe 5-6 other people unless its a group event. They have mostly new equipment all in good shape. A lot of cardio machines if that is what you're into. Try the ab carver while you're there! It is the best! This gym is missing a few pieces of equipment but the fact that its never crowded makes up for everything. read more

Was a member of the YMCA for yrs but decided to change when I noticed that an Anytime Fitness was being built right by my house on Boyette Rd. We are able to use the Brandon-Winthrop location while the Boyette location is being built. First of all, I have to say the owner of both locations is a super nice guy! The gym is very clean & has all the latest equipment. I have not done any classes so I can't comment on that. Definitely recommend this gym! read more

This is a great location. If it's not the largest Anytime Fitness in the Tampa Bay area it's got to be in the running for it. This place is at least two or three times larger than your typical Anytime Fitness around here. Since the place is relatively new everything is in great working order and they keep the place spotless. I see everyone from fitness freaks to fitness newbies working out here. This is the only Anytime Fitness around Tampa that I've found that has a machine for T-Bar rows (the one where you lean on it and it supports your chest). Since it's across the street from Publix you can go over there afterward to grab a meal or a protein drink from the vending machine. I love coming here. read more

I went to this gym by accident. I thought it was another gym I had planned on joining. Once I arrived I was immediately greeted by Michael. She was pleasant, informative and did not pressure me at all. She let me take my time with what i wanted to do. The gym is very clean with nice equipment. I'm excited to try some of the group classes which to my surprise is included with my membership. I did sign up and it was mainly due to the great customer service. Wow, I'd like to thank the BITTER COW who didn't get her way and gave this gym a 1star rating. Thanks to your completely insane and callous review, I joined this gym and am ever so thankful I did. I met Brian the owner when I first went in, what a great guy!!! I'm not the least bit surprised he wouldn't just fire someone, who relies on him to feed their family and pay their bills, just because they had one conflict with one "potential" member... She was just there for the free trial and I'm very glad she didn't join, I'd hate to have to work out with someone so bitter, opinionated, and obnoxious. From what I saw the place is immaculate, all the equipment is new, and there is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The the owner Brian, his fiancé who works with him and. His father, whom I just happened to meet, were the nicest people you could imagine. As a matter of fact, I dropped my Bluetooth in the parking lot, his father found it, thought it was mine and Brian called me to come back in to get it. Thanks for saving my Bluetooth Brian :-) I personally find it offensive and unconscionable that THAT WOMAN would write a 1star review (that only hurt Brian and his family) just because Brian didn't fire the guy she had a disagreement with. I find her version of the story highly suspect, and I'm sure it didn't happen quite the way she describes. I'm new to tampa, just moved down a few months ago, and I rely on good intelligent reviews here at yelp to help me.... (Not the kind of baby wining that THAT WOMAN wrote) I guarantee that this gym is the best around!!! Well.... It is If you're a nice, good person looking for a friendly atmosphere that doesn't have a bunch of shady criminal types working out there (like some local gym that I won't mention) I just quit smoking, gained a few pounds, and feel very comfortable working out here. I attended a spin class the first day of my 7-day free trial. At the completion of the class, the instructor, Danny, urged everyone to eat at Chick-Fil-A the following Wed. to show their support. I was appalled that he was telling the class they should show their support for a franchise that had voiced its stance that same sex marriage should not be allowed. I told him the gym was no place to discuss an issue like that. He said he thought Chick-Fil-A's owner was using his First Amendment right, and that the media had blown it out of proportion. Not only should a trainer never tell people to eat at a fast food chain, but they shouldn't be speaking about an issue like same sex marriage while they're working. The owner, Brian, called the next day to apologize, said he was for same sex and said he had spoken with Danny about keeping his ideologies to himself at the gym. But they were going to keep him on, which means they lost my membership! I suggest anyone who believes in same sex marriage and civil rights steer clear of this location. Danny was a really bad spin instructor, and the gym is tiny. But at least everyone wiped down their machines after use, a rarity in the Brandon area. read more
