This towing service was dispatched through Roadside Assistance. Got confirmation from Roadside Assistance that the towing truck was dispatched and even received an ETA and updates via text - great!. At an hour and a half past the time they were supposed to arrive, I decided to call for an update - no response from Anyway Towing (631) 481-2400. So I called Roadside Assistance, the representative tried calling Anyway Towing as well and same issue, no response from Anyway Towing. She called several times with me on hold and still no response. She ended up dispatching another towing company and here I am having to wait another hour for the next company, hopefully they aren't as inactive or unprofessional as Anyway Towing in terms of lack of service (since there wasn't any actual service to have been given). read more

Two stars because Frankie, the driver, was great. As for the company itself we waited over three hours for a tow. When I called the line to get an update the guy told me "yea, yea he's coming, you need to be patient" and hung up on me. It was quoted that the tow truck would be at my location in 49 minutes, and it was almost four hours later. Very unprofessional and took up most of my day. If you need a local tow I highly recommend Elite Towing, or anything over this. read more

Horrible, waited 3hrs and still didn't show. Stringing both me and roadside assistance along the whole time

Anyway towing was dispatched to my car via roadside assistance. I completed the service request form online on my phone, where I indicated that I would be leaving the car there, with the keys on a specific tire. I indicated the car's location, the drop off location, and what had happened to the car prior to ceasing normal operation. The tow truck driver called me about 1 minute after I got the text that he was on his way. He proceeded to unintelligibly yell into the phone: "WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT?! DID YOU LEAVE THE KEYS?! ARE YOU WITH THE CAR?! WHERE IS IT? YOU WANT ME TO TAKE IT TO [the location you indicated]??? I NEED YOU TO ANSWER ME FAST BECAUSE IM FREEZING RIGHT NOW" I literally answered every one of those questions on the online service request form and he is yelling at me right now. Plus, I don't need him to fix it just to tow it. Kind of ridiculous and super rude. If this wasn't a free service via roadside assistance I'd be demanding my money back. I needed to have my car towed and asked for some kind of proof showing I had to pay cash for it. I had a tow a week before somewhere else and I had no problems and they told me I didn't have to pay. My insurance company doesn't understand either why I had to pay cash this time but I never got any proof of it. I needed something for warranty reimbursement and I kept getting the run around!! Last week, I simultaneously blew two tires and required the assistance of a flatbed. I'm happy that the auto insurance company called AnyWay Towing as I couldn't have been any more pleased with the service. The guy who showed up (who I understand is the owner - I didn't catch his name, but he named one of his trucks "Betsy" and told me an amusing story about some shameless delinquent, a police cruiser, and a pole on Jericho Turnpike) was extremely professional, courteous, friendly, and helpful. He was quite accommodating and drove my sorry self for about 40 minutes in rush hour traffic to the auto center at BJ's. He didn't even swipe my beloved MC5 "Kick Out the Jams" and "Hightime" CDs from my car, although he should have (because they are the shizz and no one seems to have heard of them). If I need towing/flatbed services again, I will absolutely call this company. P.S. As if the above weren't enough, this guy was goodlooking and fun to chat with. I now find myself actively trying to hit potholes or get into accidents. Fortunately, I am currently on a streak of questionable driving: yesterday, I tried to beat the red light at the intersection of Jericho and Commack Rd and lost (What was I thinking? I know there's a camera there!). I'm doing it wrong - that move didn't require a tow truck. I do intend to try to snap an axle next week. Wish me luck! read more

Anyway you can, stay away from Anyway Towing. They came 2 1/2 hours late. They had no idea how to get to the mechanic where I wanted the car towed. They had no idea how to put the car on a flatbed and in the process of doing so, may have ruptured my fuel line because gas was flowing (not seeping, but flowing) out of the gas tank. They may also have done something to my brake lining. The worst towing I've ever had. read more

Roadside assistance connected me with them. I had a 2hr 30 minute wait 20 minutes past that i called for an eta and was met with a rude fast talking man who was not interested in giving me a time. After another hour wait i called back and the same unpleasant man had told me he canceled and is not coming. awful. read more

Don't use this company. He came and got my car last night after having me wait 5 hours. Then he said the service center was closed so he had to take my car to the yard. But he promised he'd bring it to the service center the next morning. Well it's the next day passed 5 pm and he still hasn't brought it there. I've been calling and no answer. I had to get roadside assistance involved and he wants another fee for storage. Are you kidding me. They're going to pay him. I am not. So he basically gets rewarded for holding my car hostage. read more

Could not give a better review! Joe was very helpful, got to me fairly quickly, and even stuck around to help troubleshoot for a bit, and when that didn't work he even gave me a plastic sheet to help cover up my window! Not to mention all around great guy, had a nice conversation on the drive home. read more

This company was supposed to tow my car from a parking lot to their lot for overnight storage but then proceed to bring it to my dealer's service center the next day. Instead they held onto my car ALL day. When I called around 3p.m. that day to inquire about the status of my vehicle I was assured it would leave their lot and head to the service center "within the hour." That never happened! And when I called back at 4:30, I offered to come to their facility and if my car was driveable, I could drive it off myself but a rude employee told me he wouldn't arrange for someone to be at the property for me to take the car. And he concluded that I wasn't getting my car back that day, maybe the next, BUT then I learned it really wouldn't be until 5 days from then because they were shutting down for the holidays. (If they knew that, WHY wouldn't they be even more motivated to get my vehicle where it needed to be!) The person who came to actually tow my car was very nice, but whoever is running this business (or atleast answering the phone) is negligent and doesn't care about how his poor operation of the business negatively impacts customers. read more
