If I could put 0 stars I would. Do NOT bring your car here. Years ago, my car was towed here after an accident, and they said the car was totaled. We brought to our collision place and was fixed no problem. Last week, again after being towed here following an accident, they blatantly lied to us telling us the car was totaled. They stated the car would not turn over and was not drivable - both things we had done at the scene of the accident. When we told them this they doubled down. We had the car towed to our collision place. Funny how the workers there had no problem turning the car on and moving it immediately. DO NOT USE THIS SCAM SHOP!!! read more

I am writing again to express my serious concerns regarding the recent towing service, which resulted in a paid bill of $923 cash for a 4-5 mile tow. I will be addressing these concerns with the town of Huntington Public Safety as well. My car was safely pulled off to the side of Round Swamp Road, parked on a well-maintained driveway. An Officer from the Nassau Police Department had moved my car to this location to facilitate the towing process, commenting on how accessible it was for the tow truck. Frank added $185 labor fee on top of the tow fee. stating it was a difficult pick up as though my car was driven off a cliff or in the woods. This situation escalated due to my lack of understanding of my rights. The owner Frank, informed me that my car could not be taken to my auto body shop and had to be towed to his yard instead. I explained that I needed the car at the auto body shop the following day, but he firmly stated that the facility was closed, and I could not pick up my car until Monday. Advised me to call first thing Monday morning. He then added a $300 storage fee for the days he was closed. I would have insisted on having my car towed by another company or my home, which is less than 4 miles away. He also only takes cash so you can not fight any of his fictitious charges.It is unreasonable to take advantage of someone who had been waiting on the side of a road for 3 hours. At no point did you mention that I would incur storage fees due to your closure. If you have been a victim of this establishment there are things you can do to help your claim. Filing a complaint with the Suffolk County Police Dept, contacting the Town of Huntington, Better Business Bureau is always good, and the NYS Attorney General or even channel 12 news. I do not understand how this company is on the town's list to help people who are on the side of the road. I would think the town would use a reputable and fair tow truck company. There are reviews online that represent the same issues of inflated bills and unjust charges. Despite your explanation of the charges, this was a routine tow over a short distance, and I was not provided with any options other than to pay a $923 bill. This raises concerns about whether these charges were intentional or due to being a woman. read more

I had asked the 9th Street folks to touch up my metallic black F-150 Lariat Turbo-Diesel. The paint was sun damaged along the upper part of the cab and doors on the passenger side. Black is a difficult color to begin with to blend into the body and metallic black more so. I am a very picky person when it comes to my cars, I wanted the work to be perfect. When I arrived to pick up the truck I was awestruck at how amazing it looked. The paint was blended perfectly and the body had a mirror finish. My daughter last evening was on her way to Huntington, to meet with her friend. The car suddenly broke down, and a policeman saw that she was in need of help. She explained what had happen, and said to the office that she has towing insurance. With that he called 9th street auto, to pick up the car. I don't what this office was thinking, when repeatedly she told him that she has towing insurance. These bastards took her car and now they want $400.00 cash, no credit cards. I never heard of a place like this that don't except credit. This cop had no business calling these bastards. Later I was to find out that this bum is contracted with the county. Be careful of this place. He doesnt accept credit cards. Only cash and insurance company money. He doesnt do the right thing in ethics. Professionally he attempts to run a business but it is one sided....the side of 9th street colission. When I decided to have my vehicle repaired elsewhere because I did not have funds to pay 9th street cash up front and needed to credit card the repair, he seemed to become spiteful and arrogant. Refused to refund money that was due me for said repairs paid to him. refunds it to a 3rd party causing me out because party refused to turn it over to me to reimburse me for repair. Frankie should have reimbursed me as he did not do services rendered . His demeanor, empathy and customer service lacks credibility as it seems a fascard that he cares. Be careful of this place. Absolutely TERRIBLE service!!!! so here's the scoop- my car got a little dented at the front so we took it to ninth street. They completely fixed it and repainted free of charge! amazing-right? OH NO I WAS SO WRONG!!! When my car was rear ended about a month ago so Valentine's Day, they said it would take 1-2 weeks to fix. ITS BEEN ALMOST 5 WEEKS. Completely and utterly ridiculous! I've called and called and it's always been the same excuse about how the car needs parts yada yada yada. Finally, the parts came in (suspicious) after 4 1/2 weeks. This is complete BS service and I warn anyone against going here. Please it is a scam- they rope you in and then never follow through. read more

You should take my advice and stay away from this place. Frankie Jr seems like the nicest guy when he's trying to get your business and makes promises that he does not come through on and refuses to take responsibiity for anything that goes wrong. Here are the facts. 1. He said my car would be completed in 30 days. It took 50% longer than original agreed time. 2. He is good with returning calls until he goes over the agreed time to fix the car. Then he just doesn't come to the phone or call you back. 3. He's always blaming someone or some third party company when you actually get him on the phone to get update. 4. He promised to get me a quote on another job from someone he does business with regularly but blows me off about it when I ask if he got quote after initial request. 5. He ends up damaging my car while completing his work and refused to fix it. He wanted to charge me for it after getting paid 13k to fix my car originally. 6. The day he gave me my car back he said they drove it and it runs "Great". I end at the gas station a couple blocks away because my car's rear tire was at 12 PSI. If you ever drove a car with low tire pressure, you know it drives poorly. Great test drive on there part right? 7. Frankie Jr. is a straight out LIAR. He said he had to charge me to fix the damage he clearly caused because he "LOST" money by fixing my car. The 13k didn't even cover the parts. LOL right. There are too many good places to get body/collision work done. Unfortunately, they act as towing company when my car got into the accident. Of course they tow it directly to their body shop and sell you on keep it there to get the work done. BEWARE of this place. read more

The staff was very nice when I brought car upon seeing the repairs I was un statisifed with how my new bumper was put on 1/4" gap on right side. After much back and forth they agreed to try to fix the gap when I returned (a week later mind you!) there was still a 1/8 inch gap. Fast forward two months the paint already chipping from from bumper. Shoddy repair cheap paint high prices and fake staff don't walk run away from this repair center. read more

I was pretty happy upon getting my car back but within two weeks large chips of paint were coming off front bumper and hood that were fixed. I hade two other cars with similar repairs at another auto shop and didn't have this paint chipping problem. I wasn't to happy with the repairs.
