At 2:30 PM, I sent a text message because I understand that sometimes unexpected situations come up. By 3:00 PM, I called simply hoping for an update or estimated arrival time. It is now 4:30 PM, and I still have not received any communication. I am hoping this was an isolated situation, because the lack of communication is extremely unprofessional. As shown, I was originally quoted $301 through Thumbtack, although during our phone conversation I was told it would likely be around $200, with the understanding that the price could change. Honestly, I was surprised by the lower quote, as I was expecting to pay closer to $400-$500 for a deep cleaning. I specifically arranged this service because I have company coming this weekend and was relying on the additional help due to a medical condition that makes standing and bending for long periods difficult. Thankfully, my home is generally maintained, so this was intended to be a more detailed cleaning rather than an emergency situation. At this point, I am very disappointed with the experience and will be letting others know not to rely on this company for scheduled services.
