While looking for a new waxing place closer to where I currently live, I happened to find this business via a Google search. As I walked up, I appreciated that the sign clearly states that walk-ins are welcome since I didn't make a reservation prior to arriving. Upon entering the shop shortly after they opened for the day, I surprised by how large and well organized the it was. After approaching the counter, I asked the employee if she would be able to wax my face since all information online mentioned only threading eyebrows. The employee informed me that yes, they do waxing but I would have to wait since she had just turned the wax on to warm up. After getting go waxing confirmed, the employee directed me to a touch screen board to select what waxing I wanted done which was waxing of my chin, neck, and sides of my face. While sitting waiting for my turn, I enjoyed the chill vibe created by having a television on that played upbeat yet mellow music videos. Fifteen minutes later, the employee guided me to a chair to have my waxing done. After confirming with me the areas I wanted waxed, she went to work on my face and neck. As my face was being waxed, I appreciated that the employee asked I was doing okay several times. After the waxing was finished, the employee asked if l she could also thread my face since she noticed some ingrown hairs while she was waxing my face and I replied that was okay. Following the waxing and threading, the employee asked did I want aloe or rose water on my face to help cool it down after the waxing as well as moisturize my skin. When paying for my waxing, I accidentally selected threading instead (which is a cheaper service,) but the employee was quickly able to correct my mistake the texted receipt since their receipt partner wasn't working at the time. I feel that their pricing isn't clear since you can only see prices for services when you check in at the shop. To me, by their prices for their waxing and threading available online, this could possibly lead to an increase in customer visits. Overall, my threading experience went very well and I absolutely plan to make this my new primary place to visit for my threading or waxing needs. read more

The woman took off too much on one eyebrow the first time. went back in and asked her to even out the other one. Came back out and it didn't look like she did much. I now have one eyebrow that looks way thicker than the other. I would not go in for the younger woman as it seems like she doesn't do well with instruction. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I asked the lady to clean up my brows and make them straighter bc i didn't want a arch anymore. She took a chunk of my hair on one brow and it's uneven, I told her that I didn't like them and how I have a patch of hair missing she then said maybe I did it when i literally felt a chunk of hair gone while threading. She didn't even clean me up,I dont recall seeing her clean her hands. She never apologized or even offer to fix them or help for all that matter and was being rude that I was upset during check out, will not be coming back here. read more

If you are looking for an eyebrow threading place think twice about going to A-one threading. I had gone there before and an older woman did my eyebrows and did a great job. When you go for this kind of service you take your chances. Today I went in today to get my eyebrows threaded. I got a younger woman. I told her I wanted my eyebrows cleaned up and not thinned out. When I looked at my eyebrows they looked a lot farther apart than they were when I walked in. You could see the crease on both sides of my eyebrows. When I questioned the young girl she informed me that my eyebrows were that far apart, not admitting her mistakes. The more I look at them the more upset I am. I leave for a trip soon and my eyebrows look very crooked. I'm disappointed. read more
