My daughter's eyebrow situation was a little out of control growing down her eyelids and getting a little bushy. Even though she is only 9 kids at school were making fun of her and just being downright cruel. So, I did my research and found Violet. I had my reservations because she is so young, but I voiced my concerns, and Violet knew exactly what I wanted and what to do! We were a little early for the appt, and she took us right in without a problem. The salon is a cute little place tucked in the corner of a strip mall. We were the only ones there, so I couldn't tell you how loud/busy it is when the other stylists are there with customers. The room we were in was very neat and organized. Everything looked clean and sanitary. Very happy about that! I just wanted my daughter's eyebrows cleaned up...no arch, nothing glam... she's only 9! Violet did exactly that! Since it was my daughter's first time, she explained everything that she was doing and why. She was very calm and very sweet with my girl. I had 2 fears walking into this appt. The first being that the wax would be too hot and my girl would get burned (I have PTSD from a personal experience years ago! Lol), and the second that she would walk out of there looking like a 16 year old. I'm happy to report that neither of those things happened. My girl said the wax was warm and not too hot, and that it only hurt a little when she pulled the strips off. She walked out of the appt with fresh brows and a HUGE smile. And as a mom seeing my girl happy, so was I. We will be back...and who knows, maybe I'll start having mine waxed too! Thank you Violet for making a little girl and her mom happy! read more

I wish I took before and after photos of my brows because Violeta is a miracle worker! As a human she's delightful and disarming, and will put you right at ease. As an esthetician, she is incredibly experienced and skilled at her art. The Rebel Flower is Violeta's cute little corner in the Aloha Salon. This review is strictly for Brazilian waxing. When/if I have anything else waxed I'll make sure to post. 1. Great customer service. I called late morning, or around noon, on the same day I wanted the service (totally unheard of in the waxing world usually). The waxer was not in saloon, but contacted my by text in minutes! She made herself available to me within a few hours. That right there is amazing. 2. Contacted me when she had time early- I told her I worked in the general area and she let me know she had time early and I got there in and out within 20 min (including bathroom, undress/dress, and figuring out how to pay her-my fault that I couldn't figure it out at first) 3. The girl is thorough! I felt taken care of, she cares about my pain level, cared about which way hair grows and how to pull it. Honestly can't recommend her more for a Brazilian. read more

Can't say enough how much I appreciate Violet's work! It's not the easiest thing in the world to find an esthetician willing to do male brazilians, so to find one so close to me is like finding a freaking unicorn! Her work is top-notch, and it's not rushed either. I love my previous esthetician but I always felt like she was rushing -- not that the work wasn't done right but I don't want to feel like you're moving heaven and earth to get me out of there. Violet isn't like that at all, and was willing to take the time to get every last hair -- which I absolutely appreciate because good grief am I not fond of my body hair! She's super friendly, conversational, and is great at making the appointment super relaxed and as not awkward as possible which of course is super important when you're laying there legs spread getting all your hair yanked out! Can't emphasize enough the conversational part -- maybe I'm weird, but any kind of self-care appointment (haircut, waxing, etc) can sometimes be like a mini-therapy session for me where I appreciate someone willing to just let me open up and be vulnerable -- which of course is amusingly ironic considering I'm going to her to get waxed so, physically, I'm already pretty vulnerable haha. I have always been tempted to try out a Brazilian wax and I am glad I finally gave it a shot. If you've been contemplating it, DO IT! Life changing! Violet is amazing! I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and I came in a couple weeks ago with my due date fast approaching for a Brazilian. Violet was very kind and her service was great. I haven't waxed or even shaved in a LONG time so I knew there would be pain but it was very minimal and she was also very fast which I really appreciated as in my state it's pretty uncomfortable to lay on my back. I've been coming to Violet for at least the past six years for my waxing , she also did my bridal makeup and hair and now continues to do my regular hair cuts. She is the best at what she does. Consistent and really knows how to shape your brows for your face. I have a scar on my left brow that many people in the past wouldn't know how to work with but Violet does an amazing job regardless.
