However, since Texas is an oil producing state, I was surprised that everywhere in the area was $3.09 + / gallon. I was not able to check in here because the store did not have Circle N advertised, but only Shell Food Mart. And, a general Yelp search by gas stations did not reveal the store. It was only when I got my receipt and looked at it, and typed in Circle N, did the business show up.

Theres nothing else within walking distances, so this it and it aint bad. Gas is cheap, and the country folk a warm friendly and caring. The refried beans crispy on the edge of the plate. The Spanish rice looking rather long in the tooth and crunchy. They usually make it with dairy cream here but made it without upon request. It was mostly broth and tasted like tomato soup or something from a can and It didn't have much in the way of Indian spices. I was trying to imagine it with the cream added and it seemed like it would be worse unless they premixed a load of spices in that cream. The samosas were definitely better so if I had to eat here again on a road trip I would just get a bunch of those. They also have vegan dal with lentils but I haven't tried that. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out!
