The one thing that caught our attention was that they power washed the tank after emptying it, which no other company mentioned they would do. My first contact with this company seemed to be a positive one. The lady that answered the phone…read moreseemed to understand, as a woman, where I was coming from in attempting to express my need to have our new house's tank pumped. In my naiveness, I admitted that we didn't know the state of our house's septic tank to which she replied that she would recommend that we get it pumped. I was pleasantly surprised when she told me that they had an opening the following day. This should have been red flag number one. What reputable and in demand company has availability the next day? Regardless, I booked a 9 AM appointment to have someone come out and pump our septic tank. She had already quoted the amount for pumping a tank that would typically be in a 3 bedroom house. She warned me that if the septic tank was more than 20 inches under ground that they would have to charge a $250 fee to bring in a backhoe and dig it out. So I asked her what would happen if the man came out and found out that he needed to dig out the septic tank and we said well let us do it and come back when we're done, she said that she didn't know but that she was sure that he'd "work with us." Well the next day when a man came out and found out that the tank was actually 1,000 gallons he said he'd have to charge more. He told my husband that if he didn't want to pay that amount then that man said that my husband would have to pay $250 just for having the company essentially come out and uncover the tank. My husband felt that he had no choice but to pay the man to pump out the tank. I must say that the tank wasn't HALF FULL!! I don't think that it was right for him to charge to pump out a 1,000 gallon tank that wasn't even half full. He could've charged the lesser amount (the one for a smaller tank) since our tank wasn't half full but perhaps he saw an opportunity to charge more and by golly he took it! I'm not sure what their goal is but it isn't earning lifetime customers. I think that the right thing would've been to charge us less since our septic tank was NOT HALF FULL!!

I had already had another company come out and provide an estimate, but I ultimately decided to move forward with Steve for a future date. Steve provided me with a quote via text message and advised that he was booked until September 2026. We discussed and agreed upon a date, which I added to my calendar. As the date approached, I reached out to confirm the appointment. At that time, Steve informed us that he was actually on vacation. He apologized and explained that he typically does not schedule services this far in advance. He offered to reschedule and stated that he would also provide a contract. We agreed to reschedule. However, as we approached the new date, no contract had been provided. My husband again reached out to confirm that Steve would be available. We were then informed that the person who would be assisting Steve with the job was unavailable, and therefore the service could not be completed. Ultimately, this entire process was a significant waste of time. I would have appreciated being told upfront if Steve was unable to commit to the job. Instead, after nearly two months and multiple communications, we were left without the service and with very little time to find another company. I understand that circumstances can change, but timely and transparent communication is important, particularly when a customer has planned around a specific date. I would have preferred to work with a company that was upfront about its availability and able to follow through on its commitments. Based on my experience, I would recommend considering other options if you need a company that can provide a firm commitment and follow through on the agreed upon service date.
