Very Disappointing Experience with MCA Power Washing I hired…read moreMCA Power Washing to clean the exterior of my home -- including the brick and vinyl siding, roof (for moss treatment), and windows. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and caused several issues that were not resolved to my satisfaction. 1. No notification of bleach use: At no point prior to scheduling the services was I informed that bleach was being used in their cleaning products. This is especially concerning given the potential for property damage. I was told multiple times that the product was "safe for plants". After seeing the terms and conditions (after the work was completed), multiple mentions of bleach risks were included. Had I known this I would not have engaged this firm. 2. Refused to provide safety documentation: When I requested the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for the products used, the company would not share them. This refusal violates standard safety and consumer transparency practices. 3. Property damage caused by bleach: o Stained wood posts and trim at the front of the house were damaged and discolored. o The painted back door was stripped and blotched. o A nearby metal storage cabinet was discolored. o A window screen was damaged. 4. Poor quality cleaning: The windows were left streaked and with strange white stains, likely from bleach residue. 5. Unacceptable dispute handling: When I raised these concerns, the company's response was to ask me to sign a document that would prohibit me from posting a negative review -- instead of taking responsibility or offering a resolution. Overall, I would not recommend MCA Power Washing. Lack of transparency, refusal to provide product information, property damage, and an attempt to suppress honest feedback are all serious red flags.
