I paid my deposit and after a few weeks i started to feel really bad about it - it gave me a very uneasy feeling in my stomach everytime I thought about it - and then the more uneasy I felt - the more I thought about it to the point I couldn't sleep it worried me they would ruin my photos - they just didn't seem to be listening and I was allured by the price of their package. I went with my gut, against everyone's advice in the summer - I cancelled my contract, swallowed my deposit, and started my search again. Because I was getting married in only 3/4 months - on a very popular date (11/11) I didn't have many GOOD options left - and quickly was blowing through my limited options - even though they say beggars can't be choosers, I was expecting A LOT. I found Dawn online, and was IN LOVE with her portfolio - and I didn't really think she had my date available - but she did! I snached her up quickly before anyone else got to! We met with Dawn for the first time only a few short weeks before our wedding and we were in love with her. She really seemed to care about the details of our wedding, and that was important because I cared so much about all the small details of my wedding. We talked for a few hours and really felt like she was the perfect match for us. She showed up the morning of my wedding with her assistant Ashlyn. It was very important for us to have 2 photographers because we have 2 brides to focus on. Dawn was with me, and answered a lot of my questions about how things would go and all the wedding traditions. She such a pleasure to work with! and we had now booked separate photo and video companies - and they worked together like true professionals! you would swear the way they worked they'd be working for the same company. So in my bridal suite you had Dawn and my videographer moving couches and people's things around to get photos by the window. Meanwhile in my wife's bridal suite you had Ashlyn standing on the couches, laying over the videographer to get her shots. Dawn & Ashley wrangled up a bridal party of like 20 people and made sure we got our photos done quick in the cold without dealing with dilly-dallying from people. we called her "bubbly & on point!" which is exactly what she was. Everyone in our bridal party loved them because they were such a joy to work with. Also my wife had an allergic reaction to her makeup, and dawn said she will try her hardest to fix it for our wedding photos, and she DELIVERED! because my wife was like crying she was going to look ugly in all the pictures. Dawn did an amazing job at getting the photos with her head angled so you didn't notice, or get it far away so it didn't look bad at all. During cocktail hour, the music set exactly the right relaxed, elegant tone while guests mingled -- never too loud, never too quiet. For the ceremony, the timing was perfect down to the second: the processional cues, the transitions, all flawless, which took so much pressure off us knowing that piece was handled. But the reception is where Fernando truly shined. He followed our Spotify playlists as a great foundation, but also layered in his own recommendations that fit our crowd perfectly -- it was clear he was reading the room in real time rather than just running a preset list. The moment my husband and I met Christian we felt welcomed and immediately connected. As a gay couple, you never know how you'll be received from vendors and Christian was incredibly friendly and accepting. We knew we were in good hands and that Blanc Noir would be the perfect DJ, and WOW, Christian went above and beyond for us. Not only did Christian make sure to play every song we wanted to hear, but he also made sure to not play all the songs we didn't want to hear, which in my opinion is just as important. Christian and his amazing team covered everything from sound during the ceremony, to music during the cocktail hour, and was also the perfect emcee for the evening. He did an amazing job of keeping the flow going, and the dance floor full! I recently attended the event at Marian House in Cherry Hill. While the venue was beautiful and the…read morevendors were kind and engaging, I was deeply disappointed by the apparent lack of integrity in the way the main raffle--the event's primary draw--was conducted. At the start of the raffle, I observed a blonde staff member quietly place a ticket in front of a bride seated beside me, who showed no reaction. That bride later handed the ticket to her fiancé. At the end of the event, the same staff member returned to announce the honeymoon winner, reading a pre-drawn ticket number. The bride and her mother nudged the fiancé--who hadn't even looked at his ticket--before he finally claimed the prize, awkwardly feigning surprise. It was the same blue ticket placed in front of them at the start. This sequence of events strongly suggests that the outcome was predetermined. It is extremely disappointing to witness such a lack of fairness, integrity, and transparency, especially at an event meant to celebrate such meaningful moments. I am happy for anyone winning an amazing honeymoon - but the fact that it was rigged to gift to someone predetermined soured my experience and trust in attending any future events. Beyond the disappointment in the moment, the implications of this are significant. Many brides came with genuine excitement and invested their time, under the impression that they had a fair chance at the prize. The rigged grand prize not only undermines that trust but also damages the credibility of the organizers and participating vendors. I was not the only witness. For upcoming bridal shows, I will not be attending any run by this company - and I highly advise any brides attending or thinking of it to come in with the expectation that the main prize is likely someone the staff knows or has prearranged with to win.
