I switched to this agency after being with All State for all my life i.e. over 20yrs. They quoted…read moreme about the same rate as All State with a promise that as I become older customer, my premium would go down. I thought it does not hurt trying them if the rates are about the same. I received the confirmed quote, policy etc via email, but after a month they increased the premium by 50% saying that this is from the Corporate office and there is nothing they could do. They suggested that they could cancel the policy if this new rate was not acceptable to me and they even offered to coordinate with All State to make sure the policy was easily transitioned to All State. So, I cancelled the policy with this agency (and State Farm) and switched back to All State. However, when I received the refund from this agency, they deduced about 15% amount saying this is a cancellation charge, which they did not mention before cancelling the policy. I was fooled to work with them by seeing great reviews here. Not sure if all these reviews are real. But to me, this agency is just pathetic. I wish I could give them a 0 star here. I would never go to them or State Farm and would advise everyone to be cautious when working with this agency.

Toward the end of last year when we had to add our new baby boy to our health insurance, we went straight to Ray, knowing he would give us options with the best rates and coverage, and he indeed, delivered. If you're like us, you're probably paying for Homeowner's Insurance throughout the year via an additional amount on your mortgage, which is put into Escrow. Again, like us, you enjoy the convenience of allowing the mortgage company to pay the insurance from this Escrow account, so you don't have to think about yet another large bill (hello, property taxes) every year. If this sounds like you, CALL CAROLINA INSURANCE GROUP, because you're probably overpaying! We have the same coverage we've always had, but after asking Ray to price some Homeowner's Insurance for us, we're paying $800 LESS per year! We still don't have to worry about an extra bill, since it's built into our mortgage payment, but we're now paying less on that bill every month (without even refinancing)! You owe it to yourself and your family to make sure you're not overpaying on your insurance. Think about what you could do with that extra cash each month!

I showed she was listed as my agent with the home office of Allstate and Allstate showed her she was my agent. But she said she was not getting paid because she was not listed as my agent. I have been with her since 2009 according to Allstate records. Instead of her calling the home office to clear up the discrepancy she told me to do it. I called the home office and they said there was no problem. Jaclyn did not like that answer and told me to find another agent and this conversation ves over. She refused to take my call. I have changed agents.

We were Allstate clients for 34 years! It took 14 months to get the first homeowners claim in 34…read moreyears resolved. It took 3 months and dealing with Ms Lucas who was very rude and not customer oriented to get all of my policies cancelled (I was done after the 14 mth ordeal) During the 14 months I received zero follow up calls from her even when she knew we were having problems getting issues resolved with our claim. I DO NOT recommend this agent. After requesting the policy cancellation she still tried to make us pay for 3 weeks of coverage that was not needed bc she would not correct the cancellation date to reflect the renew date. I had to contact the corporate office to get things resolved. Good luck if you have her as an agent and have a claim issue.
