I showed she was listed as my agent with the home office of Allstate and Allstate showed her she was my agent. But she said she was not getting paid because she was not listed as my agent. I have been with her since 2009 according to Allstate records. Instead of her calling the home office to clear up the discrepancy she told me to do it. I called the home office and they said there was no problem. Jaclyn did not like that answer and told me to find another agent and this conversation ves over. She refused to take my call. I have changed agents.

It took 3 months and dealing with Ms Lucas who was very rude and not customer oriented to get all of my policies cancelled (I was done after the 14 mth ordeal) During the 14 months I received zero follow up calls from her even when she knew we were having problems getting issues resolved with our claim. I DO NOT recommend this agent. After requesting the policy cancellation she still tried to make us pay for 3 weeks of coverage that was not needed bc she would not correct the cancellation date to reflect the renew date. I had to contact the corporate office to get things resolved. Good luck if you have her as an agent and have a claim issue.

I did an online quote, but stopped in at Glenn's office just to touch base about possibly switching. After 2 years of no contact from my State Farm agent switching companies was an easy decision. Glenn and his staff were SUPER friendly. They took time to chat with me and we had a few laughs. I'll be saving $360 a year, which rocks! He also has a referral program. I don't know how many people I will be able to get through his door, but I liked knowing that he actually appreciates my business and has a genuine interest in providing a personal touch. Aside from the overall friendliness of the office Glenn was very knowledgeable and informed me about some of the North Carolina special rules/regulations, gave me a heads up about price increases that will be happening overall, and gave me the tip to be proactive in choosing where I live in the future (if I moved one town over my rate increases by 20%!!!!!!). Hands down I would recommend this agent/his office. Friendly, informative, sincere, looking for the best deal for the customer. There isn't much more I could ask for! :)

Glenn Slifker is unprofessional, rude, and a dishonest agent…read more What should have been a simple process of getting a quote turned into a complete nightmare involving dishonesty, extreme rudeness, and a total lack of professionalism. Here is a summary of the negative experience: 1. Policy Created Against Wishes: After receiving a quote, both Glenn and his colleague Mark were explicitly notified that the policy was not wanted. Despite this clear refusal, they initiated the policy anyway, leading to unnecessary billing issues and subsequent excuses regarding the difficulty of correction. This conduct is both dishonest and unethical. Miraculously after I contacted him by phone after he sent me an email for him to "look into the issue" he was able to cancel the policy so I'm not sure what their was to look into other than to simply cancel it as I stated I wasn't proceeding last week Wednesday as indicated in the provided photo. 2. Inappropriate Use of Personal Issues as an Excuse: When attempting to resolve the unauthorized policy issue, Glenn was unreachable. When a response was finally received, "personal life issues" were cited as an excuse for the inability to communicate or manage business responsibilities. Business matters should be handled professionally. If an agent is unable to perform their duties, a colleague should be assigned or someone else put in charge; customers should not be left without resolution. Business is business! 3. Repeatedly Hung Up and Avoids Accountability: Glenn was incredibly rude throughout the interactions after he was made aware of the decision not to proceed with the policy. He ended calls prematurely on more than one occasion when the issues were being addressed. Additionally, Glenn deliberately avoids stating his name when answering agency calls, apparently to evade accountability or contact from clients with issues. In Conclusion: Glenn Slifker demonstrates a lack of respect for customers and professional boundaries. This behavior reflects poorly on the company he represents. It is strongly recommended to utilize a different, professional agent who values clients and conducts business ethically.

They also found a couple of gaps in our coverage that could have been a big deal down the road. That alone made the switch worth it.
