He was so polite and guided us toward the sedans and simply waited till we were ready to be helped. My sister was buying her first car so we had a ton of questions. He was patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We were allowed to test drive without the added pressure of someone talking the whole time :) we especially appreciated this. He took great care of us and not only did they detailed the vehicle, he went after them and made sure the windows and every other detail we had talked about was taken care of. He then introduced us to Khaled who was also wonderful to work with, the service was prompt and he was able to get the monthly payment reduced, he was super personable and the whole transaction felt so comfortable. Terrible experience. Beware! Apex Imports you have to be the most unprofessional, inept and dare I say "BIASED" car dealership in NC. I have never in my life been given the keys to test drive a car and at the same time the finer points of a LO-Jack system (" For my protection and yours because of today times"). Do you do that to ALLLL of your customers??? Your salesperson was more concerned about the car being stolen than having a conversation with a potential customer. When your receptionist asked me to have grace and mercy because there was only one salesman working today, I now know what she meant. Traveled from out of town to see a car at Apex Imports that I saw listed on a 3rd party site. The cash price of the car was more than the price in the listing. Also, I couldn't buy car without paying a fee for LoJack services which I didn't want. With the typical dealer fees, taxes, LoJack, and cash price difference, the car was 20%+ more than the listing price which seems criminal. Crazy AMAZING service!! From the moment I walked in, the greeters were professional. Eli, especially helped me and listen to everything I wanted. I actually went in to see a Lexus NX, however -when I walked into their showroom, I saw a Mercedes convertible. That was WAY out of my price range. Eli noticed that I loved it & mentioned, they had another Mercedes convertible, that was a little older, but in mint condition. We test drove both cars, and I fell in love with it. I left that day, wanting them to hold it, but they couldn't. After thinking it over, I called back the next day. This is the most beautiful car - and I did buy it - a 2017 Mercedes 2017 c-class 4Matic ~ it's my dream car, and I am LOVING IT!! Great customer service! This is an update to my previous review. I will say Jessica has been great with corresponding anytime I reach out to her but the lack of communication in having the sales manager return our calls is horrible!! Very unacceptable!! If you have a customer that has a legitimate concern and problem then you should do all you can to accommodate and see what the problem. Ok here is the problem. Truck purchased on 2/20. Engine light came on 2/24 and was doing a hard jerk! Reached out and was told to take it to a Chevrolet dealership bc it's under warranty. Truck was taken to Chevrolet on 2/26(if not mistaken). Found out the truck was previously taken to another dealership (2/10) bc THEY KNEW THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON! Mechanic thought he knew what was wrong. Fixed what he thought it was only for the light to come back on two days later! My issue is if you knew, which you did because we have documentation you knew, then why not mention that before we purchased the vehicle. As of 3/9 the light is still on, the truck is doing a hard jerking when you turn right to the point the truck almost cut off three times while driving. Plus we have taken the truck to a Chevrolet dealership for service more than we want to in a two week time period of having the unit. This is very unacceptable and the fact we have left several messages for the sales manager Mike with NO return call is very unprofessional. read more

I was going to purchase a vehicle from them and upon figuring out their sales tactics, the purchase never happened. First, they were going to charge me a $1,000 above the posted purchase price because I was going to pay with cash. They put an OPTION on the car that costs $1,499 that I didn't need nor want and was told they would not take it off and if I wanted the vehicle I needed to pay for this EXTRA OPTION in which they decided to put on the vehicle. Also, paying $799 for documentation fees is RIDICULOUS!!! To push a few papers they justify taking $799 for that UNACCEPTABLE! That's "our" hard earned money! Never got to buy the car because I waited 3 weeks for it to be 'serviced' and ready for the sale. Was 100% ready to buy the car and they finally called for me to come by and get it.... but they sold it within 2 hours even after telling me they'd hold it. Each time I'd call the receptionist was very very nice and as helpful as possible but once transferred to a sales person they answer very unprofessionally. If you can go there and get a car that's available you'd probably have a great experience. But if you're shopping online for a vehicle and trying to schedule out the buying process, good luck. read more

[Update below] Yay! I just got a used car here after a painstaking online search of the surrounding 250 miles, and 2 visits to other dealerships. Elie Hoyek greeted me and showed me right to the car I specifically went in for. He was very quick to let me know right upfront about the car's history, provided extra details not shown on the carfax and answered my tons of questions. At the last minute after I already said yes to the car, I suddenly decided that I needed to think more and talk to my husband again to solidify my decision before heading off to get payment. Elie was quite patient and understanding, assured me it's a good car and encouraged me to drive it more with my husband. We decided it was wonderful. I do believe this car exceeds my expectations, and we are both delighted with it. The buying process was great too. I did have a few small requests they promise to fulfill after. Next day, Elie followed up with me to make sure I have everything I need and I had more good conversation with him. I do hope to find him again if I'm ever looking for another car! Extra: I noticed some people complained about dirty oil and air filters. Mine were very clean - the whole car was. Update: first rain and my trunk got a little wet. They had me come back, and they were just so kind! They came right out to look and found it - a seam that needs sealing. I had a very good experience from start to finish. Manny, was my sales associate, who did above average, finance also was above average, service again was above average! The whole staff were very friendly and professional. Okay, the few drawbacks were in my opinion not the way I would have let the vehicle leave the lot. Number 1, the vehicle had been inspected, oil changed, brakes done, safety issues were handled, but my issues were if you're already going through everything why not take a few more steps and make it top notch? Cabin filter needed to be replaced, air filter too, kind of important, also a few maker lights needed to be replaced. I handled the cabin filter, and would have done the rest but they were kind enough to finish it up. Also the detail of the vehicle was missing the touch of a person who knows what their doing! I did a little rubbing with silicone on the trim, sanded and sealed the head lights, now it looks like the vehicle that I paid good money for!!! That's the only reason for four stars- read more

Dishonest sales rep - lied about difference between advertised and actual mileage. Dishonest dealership - adds on extras not advertised in listed price. There was a 1500+ mile discrepancy between the advertised and actual mileage. When I asked the rep about it, he said it's because of test drives. Thank you for insulting my intelligence. I told him no way there are 1500 miles worth of test drives in that period. Later I found a temporary registration that didn't work out for some reason. The rep acknowledged it, confirming he knew and lied about it. It was a stupid lie since it wouldn't affect my purchasing decision. The dealership adds on a useless car theft device from Asurion and charges $500. They do not list this upsell in the price of the car, which is deceptive advertising. read more

The purchase of the vehicle was very efficient. I worked with Marquise who was outstanding and able to balance multiple customers at the same time without either of us waiting too long. The only negative is that the final sales price was about $400 higher than the price given to me by the internet sales person. However, I will say that was partially my fault for providing them a copy of my preapproved loan check prior to obtaining the buyers order. That part, Marquise did not have anything to do with. Drove out of the way (almost an hour) to get to this lot and wasn't even able to test drive simply because he straight up said "I don't want you to test drive". Landy, one of the sales associates at Hannah Apex, was extremely helpful. He had extensive knowledge of the vehicle I was looking at (not an easy thing considering the variety at this dealership). An important aspect of this interaction was honesty. Landy disclosed a small cosmetic issue with the vehicle in question. This was something that I had not noticed and that he could have kept a secret. That is above and beyond in my opinion. To sum up, a great experience for me and a sale for them. I purchased a car on 01/07/2022. The purchase experience was good. Fast forward to today. I still do not have permanent tags and am just now finding that there is a problem with the title from out of state. A request for this info was not made until the day after my first set of temporary tags expired. After trying to resolve tag and title issues I am no closer to understanding when I may receive this information. All of this information is processed through a sister dealership. Malcolm sent me to a title clerk for information and did not resolve my issues or answer my questions. I was offered another set of temporary tags. Update: I got my car home and tried to open the hatch- and it didn't work. (It worked during the test drive.)Also discovered I am now missing a panel from the cargo area interior which was there before. I texted Nino and he said to take it to the dealership since it's still under warranty and he had no answer for the missing part. I had to lose a half a work day taking my "new" car in and they said yep, it's broken. Now I have to lose another half a work day to get it repaired. No manager from Apex has called me. I left a message today and if I hear back satisfactorily I will update further. I had a good deal but this experience has soured me. Maybe service is only important until check is in hand. I don't review much but I had to do this one because it was the worst experience I have ever had. Bought a vehicle less than a year ago. During the financing portion while buying, I checked the math before signing and an extra charge was added which when asked they added extended warranty charges without asking/explaining. I told them to remove it. It was sign though for me to not proceed with them but I ignored that time for which I am paying for that now. I got a used vehicle less than a year ago. The vehicle is still in their warranty. I barely put miles on my vehicle and I have a huge amount of maintenance on the vehicle. There is a high chance that these issues were there before I bought this vehicle as I have barely driven it. I visited them to talk about these and the manager told me to leave from his office in between the conversation when I was trying to ask some questions. He barely let me finish a sentence. He offered to pay for some of it which he took away the offer after couple of mins during the conversation (didn't realize that it was time sensitive). Also, I don't think I can personally trust them to fix my vehicle after all this experience. Also, I am an average person who just needed a vehicle which doesn't break in less than a year. Its risky for me to drive the vehicle with the problems it has and these are expensive issues to fix. I would have appreciated if they would have at-least just said no rather than keep marketing his extended warranty even during the conversation and asking me to leave when I asked questions. Their 1 year warranty did not cover much of the issues my car is currently having not sure if extended warranty would have. I personally will never visit this place again even if they give me a vehicle for free. I won't be surprised if they come up with a bad response to this review of mine like they did with other bad reviews. This was by far the smoothest car buying experience! I saw the car I wanted online and was able to send them a text so they can pull it off to the side so I can take a look at it in person after work. Before I even got there I was able to negotiate a great price with very little stress. I was helped by Khaled, one of the finance managers there. Prepare to wait and pay unadvertised fees. We came back for a second test drive. Despite having all our information and knowing when we were coming it took almost 20 minutes for them to bring the car around. After we told them we wanted to talk numbers, they left us sitting for 30 minute while they "printed the paperwork." The paperwork was a single sheet. We were disappointed to not only see an $800 dealer fee, but also a $1500 lojack fee. They were also unwilling to discuss the price of the car even though it was missing $750 worth of accessories in the listing. I don't have an issue with no haggle pricing (we bought a car from Carmax later that day) but be upfront about it and your fees. They technically would work with you some on the price of the LoJack but only with a lot of guilt. We were literally told that "selling LoJack is what allows them to keep the lights on." The only good thing about the long wait was we were able to peruse other car options so it wasn't hard to walk away when the price came back too high. read more

I want to add to my previous review of Apex Imports. Keep in mind, I was told by Keith Craven that they were not able to help me out. With the help of a coworker, I did some research into paint issues with Toyota vehicles. I discovered that paint issues were NOT considered a recall, and that there is a specific program that addresses paint issues. If Apex Imports was worth its salt, they would have known that and would have been able to help me out!! I contacted the program, and they were very helpful. I told them I did not want to deal with Apex Imports, so they contacted Leith Toyota in Raleigh, NC. Within a few days, I got a call from Bobby at Leith and he was more than happy to help me! I took my car there, and he inspected the damage, and told me that it will be repainted! I generally loathe car shopping.... however, we recently needed a "new" car for my 17yo, which after a lot of looking around we ultimately purchased from Hanna Imports in Apex. The sales representative, Keith C, was awesome - patient, low pressure and really listened to what we were saying (daughter needed to 'try on' a LOT of cars before finding the right fit). I loved the professionalism from this sincerely nice and helpful gentleman. All the staff there were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to my husband, daughter and I. There were a lot of great car choices on site so it was so helpful for her to have the opportunity to try out many different kinds of cars and even years of the same type of car. Drove to this dealer to get a newer vehicle. Selection is grand, First vehicle they tried to "sell" was an old rental vehicle that was missing head rests?! I'm sorry but when was it ever legal to sell a vehicle missing safety gear and so simple as head rests. Ended up purchasing a vehicle from this dealer with a "clean" car fax. found out later this vehicle was indeed in an accident and an auctioned lease vehicle. Waiting for the accident report from out of state. There was no damage to the frame or sheet metal from where I had removed the bumper and other objects at the alleged site of the incident. Sales rep refused to answer or respond to the concern when it was brought up. Tire lug key. What lug key? It has locking lug nuts on it....but there's no key to get the tires off! "KEY SHOULD BE IN CAR." Good thing I have a hammer and 17mm deep sockets growing out of my garage. Replaced the key lugs with some extra key lugs i had laying around for some awful reason. Found someone's VOMIT in one of the cup holders in the back.....and these guys are telling me they up-kept and changed the oil and fluids on a turbo engine. At this point I'm more willing to trust the pan handler in Aldi's parking lot just asking for quarters so he can push a cart around while wanting to talk, Maybe you even get a free cart ride in the process. That person is more honest than the concoction present at this location. Military discount?! Well John Rambo who works in the back, was a Delta Force Special Forces ranger/ ranger instructor (which one was he cause you can't be them all) who worked in accounting didn't get a discount on any of his cars. There was potpourri on the desk, this statement was a lie twice from the evidence. It also clearly states in this VERY ad, military discount, green check mark. Pretty sure that means yes it's offered even if it is just free coffee or maybe an oil change for something that clearly needed it. Staff is Super nice, just long enough for you to sign the you will not sue them form, the fuck you bundle buddy with some out of state bank who doesn't fall under the regulations of this state, and then they dump you after they hook you up with one of their buddies for a loan, who are probably just as capable if not more capable to really ream you super good before taxes and just laugh at the result. Still waiting on other surprises (yes why would it be over?). They said they were going to register the car for me through the state, which is what all the fees are minus the 700 dollar dealer fee. So property tax, Highway tax, and registration fee. I will update once this falls on it's face, have no faith that they actually did or will even do this. Stay away from any additional warranty they offer. Ask them to remove any additional device they have added to the car for "security" reasons. Matter of fact, because I'm tired of typing review says it all. You should trust the guy in Aldi's parking lot, least he is honest. I wasn't done with the experience, but you get the idea. read more
