At this point I couldn't tell you because I've never met her even though I specifically set up my initial appointment with her. When I arrived their iPad for new patient paperwork wasn't working properly and after several attempts I asked to fill it out with paper. The front desk Thuy (?) was VERY rude and closed the glass partition and proceeded to talk about me with other staff that I could hear (she mumbled under her breath that I should "be more patient "). There were also other patient files names in clear view when checking in (HIPAA?) After that I was taken back and the nurse (Leanna) did vitals. She did not know how to spell "lisinopril" or "sulfa" (she wrote SULPHER) very common Rx's/allergies. Ok in itself not a huge deal. When I got back in a medical student came in to continue the questions. Somehow from the time I met with the nurse to getting back in the room my "Hypertension" had turned into hyperTHYROID"! Next I saw The PA/dr and she was pleasant. Again, I had specifically scheduled & waited so I could see doctor George. At this point I didn't care. I was given a lab slip and left. A few days later I got a call they wanted to schedule me for another appointment to come in to review my labs. I asked the nurse and basically got the gist of my labs over the phone. I had also recently had a mammo and they found a suspicious lump that needed to be biopsied. They needed a referral for my insurance from Dr. George's office. I called the office and left two messages and did not hear back. They have a phone line that if you can't reach them you can call that line for a $25 charge. I actually got in my car and drove down to get a signature because my biopsy was scheduled in 2 days. When I got to the office Thuy told me Dr George was on the phone and could not sign my referral I needed to make another appointment next week!! They also said I had not come in for an appointment to review my labs & that needed to be scheduled. So at this point, they consider my high cholesterol and sitting down reviewing labs to be of a higher priority/concern than my suspicious breast lump!! The PA I saw did a phone appointment the next day to review my lab so she could sign off on the referral so I was able to get my biopsy. At this point it would seem like I wouldn't be dealing with them anytime soon although the thought of dealing with them with a medical issue was very scary/concerning. One issue I HAD brought up in my appt was a concern about my toenail and fingernail and requested a RX for nail fungus. She looked at both my toe and my finger and we discussed RX options but she wanted to make sure the labs were in balance before because she mentioned the liver panel on this Rx. Now 3 weeks later...On Monday I left 2 messages to have the prescription called in since the labs had come back normal. I got a call back that they did not see me for this issue and there were no notes in the chart & I need to make (yet) another appointment. I assured the office we HAD discussed it & even reiterated the conversation. I got a call back later that day saying the PA/doctor had not discussed it with me. I called back on Tuesday requesting to speak to someone and text the PA on the number she had provided for the biopsy referral. Nothing... Crickets... Their office is closed on Wednesday... On Thursday I called again and was told the doctor hadn't discussed this and I needed to make another appt. Please!! use your best judgment if you want to be seen by someone who cannot write accurate notes in your chart or believes you have a thyroid issue when you have a hypertension issue. Someone that considers your high cholesterol more of an urgent matter than a breast lump. I personally feel this office is a danger to me and my health, so please use discernment. i'm in the process of filing a grievance with United healthcare as they are a provider for them. Worst experience EVER. Their website says "who we are"... "We are a family clinic with a mission to provide caring and compassionate health care for you and your family. Our patients come first, and we will go the extra mile to treat you like family"... oh man. NO THEY DON'T.

I have seen exactly 4 pain management doctors here in Texas and Dr. B is the one I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone struggling with pain. He is one of the kindest and most intelligent doctors I have ever met. He is patient, understanding, and is a very attentive listener. Always smiling, never judging, I feel safe with Dr. B. I can't say I've ever felt as safe as I do or trusted a pain management doctor the way I do with Dr. B. He is open and honest and doesn't dance around anything. His bed side manner truly is a class act. It is always a pleasant experience from check in to check out. Ashley is always smiling and ridiculously pleasant. His MA Tony, is phenomenal. I've never wanted to leave a place so fast in my life. I don't even know the doctor who saw me…read morebecause he didn't give me his name. Isn't that insane? No introduction. He could have been a random guy off the street for all he acted like a doctor. I came in due to unexplained bleeding after a week of immense pain and arm numbness. I had surgery for endometriosis and fibroids eight weeks ago. The treatment I received was abysmal. Some highlights -- "I'm worried about the bleeding, I know the pain in my back may be normal due to my illness. I just want to make sure I'm not having a stroke or anything." "You can't have a stroke in your lower abdomen." "What pain meds are you taking?" "I've been taking both Tylenol and Ibuprofen every two hours because I'm in so much pain." "You should try Aleve." Woah, no way? Aleve? Hold the phone. I never thought of that. Then he gives me a paper that says not to take Aleve because it'll cause me to bleed more. Uh oh. And a paper to explain what a painful heavy period is! To someone with a chronic reproductive disease. I still can't decide what part of this visit was the most disrespectful or condescending. It's a hard one. He looked at my surgical scars at one point, asked if I had a fibroid removed like he didn't believe me, and then stated that typically fibroids are removed from a larger incision. I was told he can't support or help with anything gyno related, but somehow he's an expert on laparoscopies and thinks he can criticize my surgeons work when he didn't even listen to a single thing I'd said to him since I'd been there. Did he think I was lying about getting a fibroid removed? Probably. They took my blood pressure multiple times and I, a healthy individual ACCORDING TO HIM, could not get Systolic pressure under 155. When I got there ONE SEVENTY FIVE. A cardiac episode is 180. He told me it's probably the pain. Wait, so the Aleve I took this morning isn't working? What? You said that should help. Why is my arm numb from my shoulder to my fingers? Who knows. Obviously not him. I think his excuse was that I laid on it wrong. Why has it been hurting since Friday night? A medical mystery. My insurance is paying thousands of dollars so Sherlock Holmes can tell me I laid on my arm wrong. I finally gave up trying to advocate for myself and just agreed with him so I could go home. I got no answers for my pain or my bleeding. He thinks I'm fine! So healthy. I can't believe my insurance is going to have to pay for this. The only reason I got meds in IV for my pain while I was waiting for my blood work was because I cried in front of my nurse and he advocated for me. I was the only person there at 4:30am this morning and seriously you would think I was one of 100 in that ER with how I was treated. I had to get up to go the bathroom and wouldn't you know, he was standing around doing absolutely nothing. The only person who cared about me was my nurse. Strangers that hold the door open for me in public show me better care, respect, and compassion than this DOCTOR who literally gets paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to do care for people in their time of need. Like what a spit in the face. And for what? I just wanted help. If I have a cardiac event or god forbid a stroke between now and Monday when I see my general doctor, I will find this hospital at fault. I am still not over how even an EKG wasn't even at least offered. That's standard practice with symptoms I displayed. Thankfully tomorrow is Monday so I can actually go to my general doctor that cares if I live or die. My discharge instruction was to lose weight. :) pain? No you're just a fat pig. EDIT FOR STAFF WHO READ THIS - If you are not the doctor who talked to me like a dog than don't apologize for him please. I don't want an apology, you've done nothing wrong. The rest of your staff was amazing. Either fire him or teach him social skills so he doesn't make another woman cry. The front desk staff was nice and the MAs friendly. They apologized and thanked me when I mentioned that I found a 6 day old urine sample in the restroom. Dr. Glaser was not friendly towards me. My visit was to be a new patient physical. He did not engage or try to get to know me at all. My face to face time with him was less than 10 minutes, and the only thing memorable that he said was that my insurance might not pay for my updated tetanus shot (they did). I went downstairs to do lab work and was there for about 30 minutes when they finally realized that Dr. Glaser did not order lab work because I had done lab work 7 months prior. Fairly certain that lab work is part of a physical...but whatever. I had already made up my mind that this man would not be my new PCP. A PCP should be warm and engaging, and someone who will listen to their patients when they are concerned about something - Dr. Glaser checked none of these boxes. Fast forward a few weeks later to the billing nightmare that followed, my insurance covers an annual physical (including the lab work he wouldn't order) 100%...but the first bill was coded as a new patient appointment, but they left the physical off. So I had to call the office about this...they made my patient responsibility $0 in their system, but then rebilled my insurance company with duplicate charges and overbilled by almost triple. I decided to call BCBS directly since I had yet to find a competent individual to help me at the practice. The insurance rep told me that one of the codes used on the new bill was for a psychiatric evaluation...OMG! I explained the whole situation again, and BCBS filed a grievance and the billing did eventually get situated. I have talked to others who have noticed similar billing issues on their statements from this practice...so definitely watch your EOBs here. Unreported overbilling is sadly something that happens too often in the medical world. I have given up on ever seeing my 7+ years of medical records from my prior PCP. I am fairly certain they went into an abyss of some sort in this Bridlewood office of confusion.

But if you use the Healow app, the docs are pretty quick to respond plus your care needs are documented. I started using Bridlewood, Dr. Glaser and his staff because the last office I was at didn't listen to me. I'm diabetic and trying to find the right medication has been much trial and error but my last office brushed off my errors. So when I first started with Bridlewood, Michelle Hampton heard me and started me on my way to finding what worked. I was sad to lose Victoria Thomas but it was an easy transition back to Michelle and they really do care. I have trouble with getting medication but that's due to my insurance not the office. Michelle and her team have been in constant communication with me and are eager to help where they can. I've had nothing but a pleasant and stress free experience working with the Bridlewood staff. My one complaint would be that I never got an Amazon gift card!

We were contacted two months ago and told that my mother had overpaid by $300 and that a check would be mailed to her in 30-40 days. They verified her address. Now it has been over 60 days. I called the office today and was told that it was still being processed, "you know, they have to verify the mailing address, print the checks, and sign the checks, but they are really behind." I cannot imagine that it takes that long to process a check once you already have verification of the mailing address. The office clerk also said that there were many patients in this process. Really? How is that you overcharged so many people? If I owed a payment to AOA, I'm sure I would be penalized if I was more than 60 days late with the payment, but I doubt we will get any interest for AOA holding my mother's money for months. And, State law and Texas Medical Association requires that repayments of overcharges be return within 30 days to the patient. This is very poor office management for AOA.
