They used dollies to take my furniture down the stairs and let it bang against the steps each way down and did the same thing when moving into my new apartment -- most of my furniture are now wobbly because of this. Not only that, but one of the movers also DROPPED AND BROKE my nightstand in front of me. He did not apologize at all and kept moving my other items. The 2nd mover was a bit more professional and let me know that they have insurance to replace it, and to follow back up with them afterwards.. I've followed up multiple times with them already, sent them pictures/receipts of my nightstand, and have not heard back at all. TERRIBLE PEOPLE AND SERVICE. DO NOT USE THEM.

I ended up hiring Move It On Up because they gave me a competitive bid and frankly just seemed more confident in their ability to do the job. We needed to split the move over two days because we wanted to leave our house staged to sell. The first move, they arrived with 4 people and a truck and got to work packing everything. The girls packed and Keith and Luis moved everything to the truck. They literally ran everywhere they went from 8am-5:30pm. The move went perfect and they finished in the exact time they had estimated in the initial walk through. Not a thing broke in the move. For the second move, it was a week later and it was all of the remaining furniture. Keith, Luis and one other guy showed up with a truck at 8am. They moved everything out again in the exact amount of time they had estimated. They were running the whole time like on day one! When it was all said and done, I owed him the exact amount that he had quoted me for the whole move. Everything made it safely to the old house and we were extremely happy with the service provided. I will recommend Move It On Up to anyone I talk to that is looking for movers!

They were to pick up a bedroom set, shop-desk, a standing tool box, and some medium and large moving boxes from the upstairs of a residential house, and then pick up the brunt of the items from a storage unit a mile away. The storage items had a dining room table, a leather sectional, ~ 20 medium to large moving boxes, a 5' safe weighing about 600 lbs, a mountain bike, a real wood TV entertainment center, and a real wood shelf. There was also a fee for the moving of the safe (seems to be standard for all moving companies). Saying all this, the guys did great! Every thing that could be scratched or scuffed was very well wrapped and protected, even the safe. They did a meticulous job of protecting my property. They were professional, hospitable, friendly, safety-minded, and very efficient. I'd highly recommend these guys and would use them again. The rates are reasonable and even the office personnel was professional.

I understand it's a process but it seemed very dishonest. They spent over 8 hours. I got so frustrated that I started helping move the furniture around hour 2. But the two guys didn't help. They avoided eye contact. I wouldn't have written a review BUT we had just gotten the new home painted and unfortunately it has to be done again. Scuff marks everywhere, scratches on the walls, broken mirrors and light bulbs, scratched up dented furniture. And our old home floors were completely destroyed. They were new floors we put in. It kind of felt intentional. I hope this isn't anyone else's experience but our experience was awful.

I do not recommend Graceful Movers…read more This was by far the longest and most frustrating move I've ever experienced. I came fully prepared. Everything was already packed and most items were disassembled, with the exception of one bed and an entertainment center. All belongings were staged in one easily accessible area, ready to be loaded. My new home is only 11 minutes away, yet it took a team of three movers over 5 hours, nearly 6, to complete the move. To put that into perspective, I've used movers before with fewer people and a much longer drive of about 45 minutes, and they still completed the entire move in under 3 hours. There was nothing efficient or "graceful" about this experience. The excessive amount of time it took is completely unacceptable, especially given how prepared everything was. To make matters worse, I still have to reassemble my furniture myself. At the pace they were moving, I can only imagine how much longer it would have taken if they had done it. Overall, I feel taken advantage of and would not use or recommend this company.
