For my project we were looking to replace our yucky inconsistent crabgrass lawn area with artificial grass. Kris came out to walk through our project late last year and quickly came back with a beautiful design and bid. I had received a few other bids, but Kris's design was by far the most thoughtful and gave my kids more square footage of play area. I had to put the project on hold in January due to some life factors, but called him back in early Feb to get going. Kris quickly came back out with samples, confirmed the project design and price and about a week later the project started! Kris brought the 2 Project Managers over in person to meet me a few days before we started. Pablo managed the project on side and great to work with. His crew was friendly, respectful of our space, (cleaning up each night, closing our gates, taking away trash) and super efficient! The project went so fast and was done in just 3 full days (I was prepared for 4-7). Throughout the project it was also super easy to ask questions, get updates via the text group the office set up. This made it super easy when I was't sure who it reach out to for what. We absolutely love our new lawn! I would highly recommend Bayside Pavers and their crews!

I requested a quote and the biz came back quickly giving us directions to the warehouse for more info or a # to call. No fancy office here, just a warehouse. The guy was so helpful and very clear and transparent which is always appreciated. We had our landscaper put it in vs going with their crew for price purposes. You can purchase from them with or without install although their guarantee doesn't accommodate you (or very limited) without their install services. We legit went to 5-6 different turf spots for samples and this was one of the more expensive options, but it blew the competition outta the water. He gave some great advice, and, frankly, he is the main reason we went with Synlawn. Installation was quick and done efficiently. Then it all went south! Mario said that it was great for pets, citing drainage and durability. It is not good if you have a puppy, which he knew we had, as puppies love to chew on things and the turf pulls out quite easily. Too, shortly after installation, we thought we had a ripple in the turf possibly due to installation. I contacted Mario and he said he would come by and take a look. We never heard from him again. To be honest, it turned out to be nothing, but, nonetheless, he never reached out again. After a couple of months was saw some discoloration around the fountain. I contacted Billy Bright, and he said it was due to the water from the fountain. He said to try CLR cleaner, which didn't change anything, and then he said to try GooGone, which also didn't work. He said Synlawn was not going to do anything about it, since it was due to the fountain. My point is, since it seems to be a known issue, why wasn't this mentioned at the time of the sale by our salesperson, Mario, with 17 years experience! The fountain has been in place long before the turf sale took place. Seemingly it is always what the salesperson doesn't tell you that comes back to bite you. Needless to say, that in no way can I recommend Synlawn to anyone. I am giving them one star as there is no zero.

Called the office and Adam came out a couple of days later to inspect our lawn and give us a quote. After talking to a few other local vendors, we decided to go with FENIX and we are really pleased we did. Adam, Kimberley and Erica communicated really well and answered any question we had about the entire process. They provided us with a few turf samples as well as an extensive list of referral addresses we could use to inspect their craftsmanship and the quality of the installed turf product. When the day to start the project arrived, Dylan and the large crew arrived right on time as arranged and immediately got to work. They were very professional and skilled. They were able to complete the entire project in one day and cleaned up the "worksite" nicely. We are extremely happy with the entire process from start to finish and would use them again if needed and would highly recommend them if you were considering installing artificial turf for your landscaping project. We had a small lawn area in our backyard that would not grow grass. One part got very little sun…read moreand the other got too much. We decided to install artificial turf. A neighbor had recommended Fenix. About a year ago a representative came to our house to give an estimate. He brought samples and measured the area and was quite thorough in his explanation and recommendations. We decided on one of the products but had to hold off installation because we were having other work done in the backyard that could have damaged a new turf. Finally the yard was done almost a year later and we contacted Fenix. Their prices had gone up only 10 cents a square foot but they honored our original bid. Installation was scheduled a couple of weeks later. A week before the install we received an email with the site prep, warranty, care instructions, and other useful information. They offer a discount if you pay by cash or check. On installation day they arrived close to 8 a.m. and apologized for being late as it was foggy in Sacramento and dangerous driving. The crew immediately got to work, first capping off the irrigation that watered the former grass lawn and then digging out the dirt and roots. They uncovered a couple of drainage pipes that we weren't aware of and cleaned them out and reset them to be operational under the turf. They accidentally cut some irrigation pipes and quickly repaired them. Once the job was finished they cleaned up our backyard, even on the side of the yard they weren't working in. The new artificial turf looks wonderful. We highly recommend Fenix if you are considering artificial turf for your yard.
