    Future veterinarian!

Apex took great care of my little dude Bert! They took the time to verify what was wrong with his eye and were ultimately able to treat him without surgery. They even consulted and work with the cardiologist after there was a little issue. Dr Tonja, Dr Tammy and all the technicians are amazing and they even let my son take a look through their equipment as he was curious! I hope I don't need them again but if I do I know we will be in good hands!

Apex removed my dogs cataracts and restored his sight. They mapped out the plan, fully prepared me for what was to come and kept me informed the day of surgery. They are attentive and caring to my dog. Great doctors and techs!

However, their lack of…read morebasic medical care almost cost our dog her paw, left her with a limp, and we are moving to another vet. After recent surgery, they applied a bandage to a good leg that was essentially a tourniquet. When I called them the day after surgery to say her bandaged foot was swelling, they outright refused to see her and said that I had to take her to the ER. I begged several times and explained that she had just had surgery the previous day, but insisted they would not see her and I had to go to the ER. I took her to the ER (VCA Highlands Ranch - rock stars!) and the vet explained the issue was poor vet care - the bandage was too tight. The bandage over the suture was incorrect and the information they gave me on handling fentanyl was incorrect. The ER vet was so bothered by the poor care that she called Greenwood to explain the issues. They also did not even charge me for the care because they were so shocked at the poor treatment. Because of the poor post-surgery treatment, my pup had another 4 weeks of casts on her non surgical leg and almost $1000 in additional vet bills to try to correct Greeenwood's mistake. She likely has a permanent injury and a limp from the care. We are hopeful it will eventually go away, but no luck so far. While they called to say "Sorry" about not seeing her the day after, AND knowing she had additional issues, they never once called to see how she was doing after she had been a patient for 8 years. The lack of professional care and knowledge and basic lack of care for our dog has forced us to change vets.

Their staff, across the board, greeted us with only compassion and kindness. Kerry M. was our vet and she walked us through every step, educated us, was patient, and was so kind to Iverson and us. I had to cancel the first appointment because I was not ready to say goodbye. They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways. It helps with acceptance and closure and provides a peaceful passing. I will forever recommend them to other family and friends who need to say goodbye to a family pet member.

May 2022 was one of the hardest months of my life…read more My husband and I lost both of our 17 year old kitties within 3 weeks of each other and to say we were devastated is an understatement. When we started to notice both of our kitty's decline - one after the other - we weren't sure what to do. Seeing their active decline and wanting to keep them out of pain, we knew putting them at ease was for the best. THE hardest decision, but one that we knew was right. With our usual vet booked out for days, we opted to do a simple search for spots near our home who could assist in the process. Our main concern was keeping them comfortable and letting them go in a quick, sweet, painless manner, so after seeing WellHaven and the wonderful google reviews, we knew just the place. While we were there for other reasons than other Yelpers, we found WellHaven to be amazing. We were able to book appointments over the phone and online, speak with the nurses and doctor prior and say our goodbye's in a quiet and peaceful way. The staff is truly unbelievable in that they are insanely sweet, gentle and sympathetic. They were very professional, explained the process to us and allowed us to mourn as long as we wanted. Pricing is very reasonable for services and an additional outside service has paired with WellHaven to provide proper burial and cremation services for a small cost, while a paw print with your pets name stamped onto it is free of charge. We opted to get both girls' ashes which were ready less than a week later, which came in a beautiful small engraved box, which pairs perfectly next to their tiny paw prints! We also received cards in the mail signed by each member of the WellHaven team which was heartwarming and a very sweet touch. WellHaven also serves as a vet clinic, ortho clinic AND as a doggy day care/camp, and is NOT just a place for the sad stuff. When we are ready to adopt new pets, we will definitely return to WellHaven for amazing pet care.

Panicked, we called everywhere we could to find help for him. We were referred to this place. They were booked until February 4th, and after asking to be placed on the waitlist, they called only two days later to inform me they had a cancellation and an open spot. We brought our dog to the clinic for an initial evaluation and the vet-tech taking care of us was friendly and informative to say the least. After the evaluation, Dr. Beebe came out and talked to us personally for about 45 minutes explaining procedure options, what he thought was best, and how everything would happen depending on what we decided. I didn't feel like he was pressuring us to choose the most expensive option, but instead that he wanted the best for our dog. After leaving, we were immediately sent PDFs of the treatment plan, estimated cost, and pre-procedure instructions. They got us in the very next week for the procedure and this was where I was most impressed. Before dropping my dog off in the morning, the vet-tech went over procedure details again, medication information, and asked for all phone numbers of people I would like to keep updated. We were able to text this number with any inquiries we had during the time he was there. I dropped my dog off and they created a group chat with the phone numbers I provided to keep us all updated throughout the whole procedure. Then, I received a call as my dog was getting put under anesthesia, three calls during the procedure to inform me of how it was going and about a change of plan due to unknown low integrity of a tooth we had originally wanted to put a crown on, as well as a call when he was waking up to inform us of how he was doing. During the post-procedure call, Dr. Beebe took time to explain the procedure in depth and express how happy he was with the treatment. Next, he put the vet-tech oh the phone and she went over post-procedure and post-anesthesia care in detail as well as how/when to dispense medications. Then we scheduled a complimentary check-up for two weeks later. I've never been to a clinic (human or animal) that has been this informative, communicative, and respectful. I would recommend this place 100 times and again.

The office manager will not allow me to speak to anyone other than him…read more The Friday prior to this review I brought my cat in to have a dental done by Dr Beebe who was amazing in every single way, the rest of the staff were amazing and every single way and then there's Foster. Who unfortunately is blocking my every effort to be able to speak to someone who can actually explain things to me in a way that I understand. I cannot for the life of me understand why someone who is an office manager (or is calling himself the office manager when addressing me) would block a client from speaking to another staff member to get information on their furry family. It boggles the mind truly that now my ability to schedule the follow-up and bring my cat in to be seen by Dr Beebe has just become impossible for me because of this interaction. I no longer feel safe entering their office and I do not trust my cat in the care of the young man with whom I am trying to avoid interacting with who is doing everything that he is able to do to force me to speak only to him. The only one who suffers is my cat which should not ever happen when it comes to veterinary Care, a staff member should never be allowed to block someone from getting the care that their animal needs. I couldn't be more disappointed. I will provide here screenshots of the text messages that I was sent by Foster himself. Judge for yourself please and also know that I tried calling on the phone and Foster has informed me that I will not be speaking to anyone but him for any reason. When I stated that that was unprofessional he defended himself and said that it was professional etc in which case I hung up the phone because I was triggered at that point. I was told that the phone call was recorded and if that is the case then I had requested a copy of that recording. I'm sure I won't receive it. Either way a business is great as this one should not suffer because of one office personnel having a vendetta against a client being myself. It's simple when someone who has a disability encounters a person who also has a disability and our disabilities don't get along it's a simple as redirecting. Unfortunately Foster is unable to do that apparently. Again I reiterate my cat should not have to pay with his health for this pettiness. I have requested to speak to someone else on several occasions at this point and he refuses. I have no other choice than to pay extra money to have my cat's follow up done somewhere else which should not happen because the follow-up is complimentary and Dr Bebe is absolutely professional on every level and excellent at what he does. My heart is broken that we will miss out on the level of professionalism and care because of the office manager. This was the first time I had ever brought my cat to a veterinarian that left me feeling confident that he would get what he needed. I can't express enough how devastating this is. Thank you for your time and consideration. P. S. I was told when i dropped my fur baby off for his appointment that day that at the days end i woul have an email with his records that included all of the information that I needed to know what happened for him during his visit what kind of medication he would receive and any antibiotic that he may have received etc. Aftercare paperwork was handed to me when I left, according to the aftercare paperwork if he had had any swelling or anything I needed to take him to the emergency room. When I tried to do so I did not have records to let them know what was actually done and if he had received an antibiotic or not and what kind it was etc making my ability to care for my cat very difficult and unnecessarily so. Foster was in charge of sending me those records. At this point I have little faith in this person's ability to handle things responsible in regards to me or my cat.
