I've had some injuries that required multiple visits during the week and they have been extremely flexible with my appointments to allow me to seek care while maintaining a full time job. They all are very attentive and make an effort to see that you're comfortable throughout your entire visit. I've also been able to rely on them when my injuries have flared up. Dr. Leanne has seen me when they aren't typically open or scheduling appointments in some cases, just to make sure we maintained the care I was needing at the time. The level of care you can expect to receive is thorough and very effective. I was very nervous when I started treatment but she knows what she's doing. Not only is she very knowledgeable but she's quite possibly the sweetest doctor I've ever had. The rates are very affordable and from what I've heard they take most insurance. They will even work with you if you have special circumstances so you don't have to stop treatment. I think if you gave them a chance you'll be very satisfied with your results.

She was a massage therapist for many years, she told me, now she is a "DOCTOR" in the field of other, good and other legitimate" chiropractors. I think that she tries at this, but she doesn't (step up and she completely fails along along with her staff) to step up to the plate in the long term of Decatur business. Chiropractors are an INCREDIBLE resource! Regarding her, I'm more accustomed to professional medical businesses in larger cities. Maybe it's Decatur, I don't know? But Ms. Leanne and her staff need to consider going to BUSINESS SCHOOL. My INITIAL MEETING WITH HER, was just to explore a treatment plan for myself with a chronic lower back pain pain/condition. I met with her in a closed off room. She told me the front office "girls" would help me with my insurance. (I was hoping for some medical lower back help and relief before my insurance switched over by the end of the year.) I told her this. Time was of the essence with me, I told her. I am a disabled person. In my opinion, she tricked me into an exam in order to bill my insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield. She took my credit with my insurance and then I could not receive relief when I needed it most. Then she billed me for the rest. I document everything. EVERYTHING!! I will report her to the Illinois board of examiners, and to my own insurance company. I want to know if there was fraud involved. She asked some very, VERY strange questions during my initial consultation, which I thought was just a free consultation. She asked me many times in different ways, if "I was **angry** about my bad back..?" ?? (There were other strange questions as well). What school did she go to? I told her I was OLD, and ...I told her that her questions were somewhat strange. I told her I had a bad back because of my age, being "angry" is not an an emotion I would tag it to. I told her, "It's kind of expected (being old) and it's more of an INCONVENIENCE, rather than anything else. I'm not ANGRY", I said. ...no, I don't get angry because I'm getting old. ;--) I just try to DEAL with it. I just don't want to be scammed by a Qwack. I was thinking this, but of course, I did not say it. I just wanted to get away from her in that small room as fast as possible. The whole appointment was bizarre. (She seemed turned off by my answer and my candor.) Before I knew of her history, I gave her my x rays and MRI records, and it TOOK ME, ....ME!!! ...to call her office back to see what her "thoughts" were on my lower back issues via my x-rays and MRI that I gave her. I wanted to know her plan for me before January 1. I lost a week's worth of time not hearing back from her office. (Normally, stuff like this takes two or three days at the most) ESPECIALLY, if she is seeking out new business) It was almost a week's worth of time that went by with no call from her office. At her initial "consultation", (this was in early December) she told me she could help me before the end of the year, due to my insurance issues. ....But after waiting.... waiting...waiting...one ...two ...three ...four ...five ...six seven ...eight DAYS, I finally went back to her office to see why I hadn't heard back from her. I finally went in, and it took ME to go back and pick my records and to ask her how I could be treated. Her front office staff told me I couldn't be treated in 2019 because my insurance was soon to run out. Whaaa?? "WHAT???!!! The owner of the company, YOUR MAIN CHIROPRACTOR said I could get in at least 8 sessions before the end of the year!!!" She took my insurance allotment, but she promised me she could help me in early December! But then afterwards her office staff said they could no help me in 2019 because my insurance was "soon to change to a different plan in 2020". At that point, I smelled fraud. She said she could help me in early December 2019, but a week later her front office staff said NO! They could only help me in 2020. She took that insurance money. I had a conversation with her when I picked up my medical records, after not hearing from her office in a week, (with her office staff there witnessing), saying I was not happy with her way of doing business. All she did was belittle me in front of her staff and patients waiting in the office area. I was completely and utterly embarrassed. I've never been treated this way. Then I get a CHRISTMAS CARD FROM HER!! After taking my insurance, I now get a bill in the mail today from her dated 1/6/2020. What is GOING ON WITH TROSTEL CHIROPRACTIC CLINIC LTD? I will take this to my lawyer, my friends in Decatur, and the ENTIRE state board. I gave her a chance to correct my opinions of her practice on my second visit. All she did was double-down on her arrogance.. Sad.

I did, they said she misunderstood. I am now on the hook to pay the additional $436, which ends up being more than cash pay. No help was given other than a "payment plan". It feels like fraud to me.

Dr Tuan and his staff have been patient and phenomenal in my process. It's the best referral from the hospital I could have been given. Dr Tuan really listened to my needs, issues and concerns. Recommended an MRI, thank god he did because I wasn't healed as previously told by another, was actually in pain for months, working for hours full time on my feet barely able to walk. I was able to get my MRI, have surgery and the next day after healing was night and day for my swelling leg. The swelling that I had for over 6 months in my knee was gone! I can't thank Dr Tuan enough for helping me I'm still in the healing/recovery process but I'm already happy with my results. Every office visit I've had the wait is decent. My daughter and her friends were involved in a car accident where a semi truck hit them. She, luckily, ended with whiplash and a concussion, which is a miracle since the vehicle was totaled. As the shock wore off, they all became very sore. The staff there basically said, "Yep, you'll be sore, take some ibuprofen." No concern whatsoever. My daughter had to beg them for a stronger ibuprofen than she had so she could get home, semi-comfortably, and see another doctor.

This is a small town hospital so they are not extremely busy when it comes to the typical ER visits…read morethat take hrs. They have very up to date equipment and have specialist come every week from other facilities so you don't have to drive to another town to have a Dr visit. If you want a doctor and staff who are committed to helping you be the best you can be this is the place to go. I learn something new every time I leave an appointment! For example, I had lots of knee pain and Kim Kish suggested testing my calcium level - and found I was very low. We added a calcium supplement and I got results quickly and my pain is gone! Wow, I had gone to a bone dr for the severe knee pain (I was limping) and he did tests, suggested couple rest for several weeks and then told me I needed to take an anti-inflammatory on a regular basis and I would probably still have pain at times and would need to watch my exercise, take it easy and ice my knee when in pain. Way better to take calcium and no anti-inflammatory! Honestly, I have gone back to regular exercise and pain never stops me now. Thanks, Kim Kish! I have also seen Dr. Rohde and can tell you he really listens to you - and he treats the whole person, not just one symptom. I finally got my husband to change to him and one the first visit Kim told him how to help lower his blood sugar by watching white potatoes, white bread and white rice. He's nowhere near deabetes but he listened to her and is taking her advice. His previous dr never told him anything like that. Another example that Dr. Rohde and his staff listen to the patient. And on top of all this, I never sit in the outer office or the exam room for an extended amount of time - usually in and out within 45 minutes. Will never leave Dr. Rohde and Kim Kish!
