At whatever fitness level, they can work with you on your goals. However, know what your fitness goals are when you start- if you don't want to increase strength don't allow them to push you. Know your own limits, because they will push you beyond them, even if you're uncomfortable. The gym recently changed ownership and the new owners seem to be more involved at every level (and hopefully they'll reign in the manager who isn't always friendly). Previously, it seemed the gym was all about gaining new members, and not necessarily about nurturing current members (all the specials are to bring people in, but most people don't stay beyond the special). I hope that dynamic changes and they begin nurturing current clientele. For example, the member appreciation party costs members like $25 to attend, when we already pay quite a bit of money monthly for the gym membership. Providing specials to do semi-private or private classes occasionally would help nurture, especially during the time of the specials to bring in new people since those classes get really large for a short time period (there was one instance where a team was so large that members left). As stated, I hope this changes. The price per month is pretty expensive and they don't seem to be aware that the cost can be a burden on some people, and without nurturing, those people will (or have) leave. They go through a billing company for their billing purposes and that company has pretty poor reviews, so be aware of that before signing the contract.

I know I am able to use any planet fitness but the Aberdeen location is my "home" gym I signed up with and shouldn't have to drive to further locations to get adequate working amenities.
