Allstate claims that "You're in Good Hands"; however, in this case, you are in good hands to pay their ever-increasing premiums month in and month out for 20 years until you need them. Then the answer is "NO" you're not in good hands with Allstate. We currently have a residential property that has evidence of hail and wind damage on the roof, with active leaks in the attic. However, Allstate refuses to pay for the full roof replacement and guttering system. Allstate has agreed to a semi-repair for the interior damage; however, they have denied fixing the exterior damage, which is the root cause of the problem. If the exterior roof is not replaced, then there will continue to be interior damage. By admitting there is interior damage caused by the active leaks from the exterior damage, then they are responsible for paying for a complete roof replacement. I have personally been on our roof and in our attic with contractors and public adjusters, seen the damages, and had the evidence explained to me. Without a shadow of a doubt, our insurance carrier owes us for all these damages. As we've learned, Allstate is notorious in the industry for not paying out claims that they should. In our previous home, where we also had some roofing issues from storm damage, everyone around us was getting their roofs replaced except for us due to the simple fact that we had Allstate as our insurance carrier. At this time, in our opinion, Allstate is creating detractors out of their customers and should be focusing on creating promoters. However, with Allstate being almost a $68 Billion company in 2025 with a net income of $10.2 Billion, we are all just a number and replaceable.

The worst customer service. They rarely ever reply back to you even after repeated attempts. Once they get their foothold on commissions from your business they ignore you.
