Though we were just browsing, we felt welcomed. As we browsed, we realized that the shop was packed with merchandise, which was exciting to see since it play 40k and they had a lot of it available. The members at the bar immediately made us feel at home, and the friendly atmosphere was contagious. The drinks were spot on. Ice-cold beer and some seriously good food. The spicy cheese curds were loaded with jalapeño flavor and had just the right kick. And the buffalo wings? Absolutely amazing. Honestly, some of the best wings I've ever had. All that "wasted postage and advertising" made me think the overhead for the charity had to be too much. I would rather donate to a charity that the majority of the donation goes to the actual cause. Prior to my review I would have given them a one or two star rating. I changed my mind somewhat after reading reviews for people that have visited Boy's Town. I learned that the organization has grown to include girls so the name Boy's Town is a little inaccurate. People that have visited first hand are quite impressed and usually give it a five star rating. I'm relieved that the organization serves a population that needs its care. I have adjusted my initial review with an additional star because the charity is obviously good. I still have to deduct two stars because the fund raising campaign goes overboard with mailing trinkets in hope of a donation. I'd rather they save their money and just tell the story of the history of Boy's Town. I actually made a donation not prior to Christmas because of the junk I received but instead I was inspired by Googling Boy's Town and learning from people that had visited there.

He did an amazing job and made our wedding that much more special. He was very professional and is very talented at what he does. He is upbeat and keeps the crowd involved and entertained. He was flawless the entire night. No hiccups, everything went perfect and we couldn't be more thankful. He was not only our DJ, he also supplied the uplighting, cake pinspot, Photobooth (with helper the whole night), a video screen with projector, multiple microphones, etc. He was the total package and we appreciated coordinating with just one person. We had SO many complements about how well he did and how helpful he was. Everyone from the Mt. Woodson staff, to the videographer and photographer, to the guests; they were all so impressed with how professional he was. We had a harder crowd to please, as my family is from conservative northern california and my wife's family is heavily hispanic. he had both parties involved and dancing all night. he uses DJ intelligence, which we pick songs that help guide him on what to play. But the selection was really all on him. He played great stuff and we had a great time. i would choose him 1,000 times over (hopefully i only get married once though).
