Coolest coffeehouse you can imagine, located right in Melbourne. Doubling as a thrift store and cafe, Apocalypse is a hipster paradise. Food's not bad, either.... In fact, it's great!! :-) For COVID safety purposes, employees mask up, indoor seating is limited, and surfaces are sanitized thoroughly. We swung by on a weekday and found little to no wait, even with a decent crowd buzzing around. Service is quick and courteous. PURPLE UTOPIA: S T R O N G. Heavy on the lavender if you're into that. Kind of like a caffeinated potpourri? Not bad. TERRESTRIAL TERIYAKI: AMAZING. I had no expectations, given the lack of Asian food offerings in Melbourne...... But this bowl blew me away. Generous + well-seasoned chicken, fresh veg, and the tastiest coconut rice to wrap it all up. Sauce was a little too heavy for my taste, but the food itself was bomb. Would definitely come back! If you're coming from US1 (north or south) you'll see parking, but they also have parking in the back. It's a decent size space with different seating arrangements, such as a bar top for eating on the go or to lounge and sip coffee and catch up with others. The staff was friendly too. They had a few options for lunch, but appears they're more for breakfast. I took home their decaf, and wow, it was so smooth. It has a slight cocoa flavor, so clean. I haven't had any others, as I cannot have caffeine. The purpose of our visit was to have a quick lunch, so I ordered the Chernobowl with chicken, which tasted delicious. It was the perfect amount of food and super flavorful. It's difficult to get a good photo of the dish, but trust me, it's worth the buy. As a bonus, they also had gluten-free treats, such as cookies and brownies. The thick mint was superb! Im not sure if it was seasonal, but it was excellent. Wooow! Who knew a place like this existed in Melbourne? It definitely has that low key, easy going Florida vibe, but make it apocalyptic! Haha, really enjoy the theme here and it is fitting for both the Florida Man or Woman. It's super spacious with a store within selling random knick knacks and clothing for purchase. Really cool and 100% Florida. They have a really good and intriguing menu with interesting combos as well as classic items. They have a full food menu and serve beer and wine in the evenings. I got the Green Envy, which is a special for March. I got it iced and it went well with the minty base. Super delish with the coffee and will perk you right up!! The Blueberry Scone looks super sweet, but is actually the right amount of sweetness. Don't let the sugar crystals fool you! Pretty good scone with slight chew. The Lost City Iced Latte is really well done. Good character from the turmeric that adds a special depth. Simple, but definitely stands out! This isn't your average coffee shop and is one worth going to if you happen to be in the Melbourne area. One thing to note is that parking is pretty bad. My friend brought me here during my visit to Satellite Beach. I already had a pumpkin cold cream coffee earlier in the morning, so I went with the Frankenstein's matcha (had chocolate and strawberry) which was an October special. I like how unique and creative the matcha was! I also ordered a bagel with Lox and a chocolate cronut (to enjoy later). The bagel is essentially 2 servings. I love that they really loaded up on the smoked salmon. The cronut was great, can't complain! Outstanding coffee shop in Melbourne. Stopped here to catch up on some work and for a late breakfast/early lunch yesterday. The only negative I can find is the parking. Hard to find a spot and a lot of signs up that say 'no coffee shop parking'. Besides that, this place is the perfect coffee shop. Hip inside with a ton of space and great seating areas. Free Wi-Fi. Coffee is good, and they have some great supplement boosters to add to drinks. Breakfast is served all day. I had the breakfast bowl and it was outstanding. Stopped by Apocalypse on a Saturday afternoon while in Melbourne and so glad I did! Ordered an iced latte and an egg and cheese sandwich on everything bagel. The coffee was super tasty. Great flavor. The sandwich was also a good quick bite to have. Staff was really nice. The space is also so big and very cool spacious layout. They sell local things and have a mini thrift/antique shop. I had a November special iced matcha chai banana latte and it was delicious. I also had a breakfast blast with coconut rice as a wrap (they press and toast it) with turkey sausage added to it, and it was delicious!!! I would 100% want to come back here again just to get that delicious wrap, and to try some of their many coffee offerings. The coffee drinks have cool names and are unique. My boyfriend got a plain hot latte (his go-to drink at all coffee shops) and he said the coffee was really good. The place is adorable and has such a warm and inviting feel to it. The service was also fantastic and the employees were friendly. The outdoor seating area had a lot of cute plants and the indoor area is wide open and has a mix of couches and tables/chairs but could use a little more seating. The space inside is quite large and there's a decent amount of seating (though lots of open space to add a little more in my opinion). There's a little retail section for things like clothes and bags, and interesting vintage alien decor on the walls. As someone who is obsessed with cinnamon rolls, theirs caught my eye so I had to order. Didn't try until I got home, but all I can say is, it's an absolute fail. You know when you throw bread in the pond for ducks? It's like eating that. It was just soggy lifeless bread that has no flavor. Bummer. read more

Was here for breakfast and got one of their special lattes (available in April) - a maple and salted toffee latte. The flavor was great and blended perfectly. As my meal, I opted for the Big Bang (egg, cheese, sausage biscuit, with spinach, green onions and gravy). This is HUGE. Definitely big enough to share, and I recommend you do so. Parts of the egg weren't as soft as I like, but the gravy was so freaking good, and the combination of all the other flavors was... ::chef's kiss:: My BF got a simple toasted bagel and cream cheese and he was raving about that, too. The atmosphere here is INCREDIBLE. They have areas where you can shop from local vendors. Plus, the branding is ON POINT. Everything is apocalypse themed (from their own merch to every menu item). The staff is ridiculously kind and go above and beyond to provide awesome service. The parking lot is small and can get tight, just as an FYI. I'm a big fan of the apocalypse theme and genre so I was quite excited to check this place out. We walked in and saw the vintage items and apparel and it really goes with the theme well. It's very cozy and immersive without being overwhelming. Then we went over and ordered the Purple Utopía iced latte and a brownie batter donut. Unfortunately as nice as it was inside there was a lack of seating inside although there's lots of space for more seating. The Purple Utopia iced latte was very good although not actually purple the flavors of lavender and chocolate are balanced a full. The brownie batter doughnut however was not too great, the size was nice it was large and might I say shareable. But the filling was around a teaspoon for this large and thick doughnut.
