I left my pc tower here and I'm very concerned. They work out of a garage (not a big deal) but the fact being their listed number is disconnected and I don't have a way to contact them is very nerve-wracking. FRAUD!! FRAUD!!! FRAUD!! I am almost 100% positive that these good reviews are paid FAKE reviews. I brought my laptop to this company and did not hear back from them for weeks. They are unprofessional and do not communicate at all. They work out of a home and when I stopped by for an update, no one would answer the door. FYI the business manager replied to my post several years ago stating I never came in and my review is fake. I can assure you all it is not. That's a pretty dishonest thing to do, so add lack of credibility and accountability to your list of flaws. I paid $160 for this business to hold my laptop for several weeks and lose a stick of ram. After I replaced the ram, my friend formatted and installed an ssd with new windows os. This laptop works flawlessly to this day. My step son uses it for light gaming minecraft/roblox as well as chatting with his friends on discord and watching YouTube vids. read more

This is what remains of my old workhorse. I loved this laptop, but after good efforts spent trying to resurrect it, the Apogee wizards determined that the motherboard was going bad. The machine (sadly) wasn't salvageable from a cost perspective. They've worked on this laptop before with stellar results so I was sad to let it go. When I retrieved my hard drive yesterday, they didn't charge me at all, even thought they performed troubleshooting, ordered parts, reassembled everything, etc. They even agreed to e-waste the components for me! Apogee is the best, and I love them for their friendly service and honest feedback. Matthew and Jeremiah are so friendly and helpful! I am grateful that the shop is open during shelter-in-place times, and continue to help people. They have a lifetime customer in me. I had a decent running PC for about 2 years and built it myself as my first PC ever. Was unaware of the maintenance needed to upkeep my PC and had a terrible motherboard installed initially due to my lack of knowledge on building these things. The technician went above and beyond to get everything resolved; offered me water and a comfy chair while he went over and resolved all the issues with it. My laptop was having some strange issues after updating from win 7 to 8 then finally to 10. One day it just stopped working. I took it over to Apogee and was able to get the laptop up and running again with a fresh install of windows 10 that comes with Microsoft office and a new power adaptor. I have come to this computer shop a few times. It is a mom and pop shop so the hours of operation are not always accurate. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. He is very willing to work with your budget and assist where he can. I had a horrible experience with fixing a laptop which put me out almost $200 because of Ebay. This is not his fault and he did say to chalk up the laptop up as a lost but other influences made me go through with getting the lap top fix. I would recommend if you are getting any large jobs done to avoid as much as possible ordering your parts from Ebay. read more

Company has two names did review for both. Came in with grandsons laptop that was out of storage. Justin was very helpful guiding me through what was need as I waited. Oh man! These guys are amazing. They work quick and do their job for a very fair price. The shop is hidden and a bit out of sight but these guys know what they are doing. We brought in a very old computer with some documents that needed to be retrieved. Staff at Apogee did all that and more. We got our documents and were out the door in under an hour! Geek Squad didn't even know if they could retrieve a single thing AND they estimated at least a full week just to try. I came to buy a 3080 TI summer last year (2021). Jer was really amazing he brought me in. He knew exactly what I wanted and why I was there, and he even gave me a discount due to a slight error in the price that he gave online versus what he was actually selling it for but he gave me the price that was online and that was really amazing and we even had a really awesome conversation. The conversation probably lasted two or three hours which is crazy But it was really fun and in the end everything worked out I took back the graphics card and it's been probably the best graphics card ever had over the past 15 months. Total scam. Pressures each person that walks into the door to write a 5 star review. "Jer" calls himself a business coach, and says he wants to help you out, but only cares about taking your money; not interested in helping you. Told me to pay upfront and pay in full before they touched my website. Over promised, under delivered, completely took advantage of my situation. I made the worse business decision trusting this company to build my website, ended up costing me a fortune in damages. Don't go here for any reason. UPDATE 2//18/2017 I receive this threatening Email from Jeremiah Plummer himself. "This is better than your previous OpenCart site? So there is a video on the home page... good touch but the rest of it sucks in comparison. And there are places where the cart doesn't even work. My boyfriend lost all his data on his computer and I just didn't have the time to figure out what happened. Seeing all of the great reviews on Yelp, for Apogee, I called them up this morning. Jeremiah got me right in, and diagnosed the system right in front of me. He walked me through everything, and even though I am computer savvy, his explanation was great, and would make sense to a novice. The culprit ended up being the hard drive, which ended up being dead. He spent a good 45 minutes with the computer, and didn't even charge me for the diagnosis. I will be back when we decide to rebuild, and I will send everyone I know to him. I highly recommend Apogee for your computer repair, diagnosis, rebuild needs. After receiving a letter threatening a lawsuit for a negative review from the owner of Apogee Computer in Lakewood and is threatening money damages for giving my opinion of what I determined were poor quality services requiring additional advise from another computer repair person to resolve the issues caused by Apogee. I will add some corrections, I paid a nominal fee in cash for the person to guide me through the process of removing software installed by Apogee that caused me to not be able to access the internet. Apogee charged $65.00 for the service and did not cash the check. Apogee did not cash the check and was not paid for their work that caused the computer to not access web pages. I contacted Microsoft and was informed by them they "do not advise a complete install of Windows on an annual basis". I have been in contact with Yelp concerning this issue and occasionally Yelp has businesses that threaten lawsuits for giving negative reviews. Additionally, Yelp said it stands by its reviewers and read to me a statement concerning AntiSlapp lawsuits and outlined to me how Yelp expects business owners to respond to negative reviews. Yelp provides a platform for businesses to respond to negative reviews free of charge and Yelp also stated when they are informed of a business that uses threatening letters and language to have negative reviews removed, then Yelp occasionally flags the Yelp page notifying potential customers of the actions of the business. Additionally, Apogee is threatening legal action and attorney fees and costs if they were to prevail in a lawsuit. read more
