Total scam. Pressures each person that walks into the door to write a 5 star review. "Jer" calls himself a business coach, and says he wants to help you out, but only cares about taking your money; not interested in helping you. Told me to pay upfront and pay in full before they touched my website. Over promised, under delivered, completely took advantage of my situation. I made the worse business decision trusting this company to build my website, ended up costing me a fortune in damages. Don't go here for any reason. UPDATE 2//18/2017 I receive this threatening Email from Jeremiah Plummer himself. "This is better than your previous OpenCart site? So there is a video on the home page... good touch but the rest of it sucks in comparison. And there are places where the cart doesn't even work. By the way, there is a group of about 300 people on different computers and ip addresses that provides the service of writing reviews for clients... they can also provide really bad reviews about how your SoloCraft product sucks too, batteries exploding, wheel locking up and damn near killing the riders, etc etc... you get the idea... and they are going to unleash the fury on your ass with negative reviews all over the place this week if you don't get rid of your fake reviews." read more

My boyfriend lost all his data on his computer and I just didn't have the time to figure out what happened. Seeing all of the great reviews on Yelp, for Apogee, I called them up this morning. Jeremiah got me right in, and diagnosed the system right in front of me. He walked me through everything, and even though I am computer savvy, his explanation was great, and would make sense to a novice. The culprit ended up being the hard drive, which ended up being dead. He spent a good 45 minutes with the computer, and didn't even charge me for the diagnosis. After receiving a letter threatening a lawsuit for a negative review from the owner of Apogee Computer in Lakewood and is threatening money damages for giving my opinion of what I determined were poor quality services requiring additional advise from another computer repair person to resolve the issues caused by Apogee. I will add some corrections, I paid a nominal fee in cash for the person to guide me through the process of removing software installed by Apogee that caused me to not be able to access the internet. Apogee charged $65.00 for the service and did not cash the check. Apogee did not cash the check and was not paid for their work that caused the computer to not access web pages. I contacted Microsoft and was informed by them they "do not advise a complete install of Windows on an annual basis". I have been in contact with Yelp concerning this issue and occasionally Yelp has businesses that threaten lawsuits for giving negative reviews. Additionally, Yelp said it stands by its reviewers and read to me a statement concerning AntiSlapp lawsuits and outlined to me how Yelp expects business owners to respond to negative reviews. Yelp provides a platform for businesses to respond to negative reviews free of charge and Yelp also stated when they are informed of a business that uses threatening letters and language to have negative reviews removed, then Yelp occasionally flags the Yelp page notifying potential customers of the actions of the business. Additionally, Apogee is threatening legal action and attorney fees and costs if they were to prevail in a lawsuit. read more

This company offers you discounts for leaving 5 star reviews on yelp and Google. I would not trust these ratings. I dropped my laptop and needed the screen replaced. I called and asked if they could get the screen without having to order from overseas, and they said they could, I just needed to bring my laptop in. I went in and talked to Jer while he was simultaneously eating a burrito and working on someone's laptop. The workshop was very messy and disorganized compared to the other computer shops I visited. I gave him my laptop and was shocked when he took a permanent marker and wrote on the laptop and plug. I've been to other places where they make a label for your stuff and put it in a bin. He couldn't find the screen in stock, and the delivery estimate was 1 month. He asked if I had yelp, and said it was $150 with a good review. Jer was nice. I felt bad for him because his coworkers sometimes deserted him to watch movies at the theater, so I think he's the only one that actually works. I ended up buying the laptop screen through Amazon, where you can purchase installation service as an add on and have someone come to your house. read more
